vale and vacuo as settlements should be so much bigger actually because how did they win the war
like I say as settlements, but I really mean there should be more outreaching territories on both sides of Sanus to account for the numbers it would need to take on Atlas and Mistral, one of which being built on militrisation and the other being actually shown to have outlying territories (because they had the resources and needed the conflict in v4)
vacuo should have so many putlying territories that handle themselves and have been able to get quite sizable enough to be cities in their own right since the war and the treaties that seem to have actually prevented atlas' attempts at invasion. especially when the people are described as a tough populace.
vale should have, at one point, been some kind of empire the way that it's described and viewed. like you can not tell me that its reputation as benevolent doesn't actually stem from it having a colonial history in its own right. why is the farthest valean expansion to the south Mountain glenn, which is still close to the city itself.
