Air gunner of the 703rd Assault Aviation Regiment Sergeant Mikhail Sudovsky near the Il-2 aircraft, 21.07.1944
Воздушный стрелок 703-го штурмового авиационного полка сержант Михаил Судовский у самолета Ил-2, 21.07.1944 г.
Fucking fantastic little video.
Il-10 (Korean Peoples Airforce) 1/72 scale KP Kit.
The Il-10 was developed from the Il-2 and first flew in 1943. It first saw combat in 1945 towards the end of the war. It remained in production until 1955 and was delivered to several Eastern Bloc nations including Czechoslovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. Czech built Il-10's were built by Avia. The Czech built aircraft were named Avia B-33. Other nations such as North Korea(DPRK) flew the Il-10.
The model I built here shows a North Korean Il-10. While I have found most KP kit models to be good, I found this one the opposite. I did however enjoy building it because the extra work is what I enjoy with some modelling. The parts had alot of flash and there was also some fitting issues. If you don't mind extra chopping shaving and cutting, I'd say go for this kit.

I still have some pictures on my wall I still know the places where they're from I still find all answers in my dreams
Do you really want to go back in time? By late 1944, many P-38′s were regulated to CAS roles. Despite being optimized for high-altitude performance, they were still able to hit nearly 400 mph on the deck --- which meant that after they dropped their bombs, they easily reminded the remnants of the Luftwaffe why they earned the nickname “Forked-Tail Devil.” I’m used to flying 4th-generation fighter jets in DCS. Putting “California Cutie” through her paces in IL-2 was a pure stick-and-rudder experience. The P-38 is a quirky aircraft, and surviving against advanced German fighters requires you to use every strange advantage you can get.
well, little story on how I made it into the original IL-2 game credits.
