I decided to take a bath today. Ha…I usually shower…so yea, I’m not a damn dirty blogger (as far as hygiene is concerned). During my bath, I thought about two things: #1 How disappointed my dad would be because he hates baths. He would say, ” All you’re doing is soaking in the filth you were trying wash off.” and #2 Jerry Springer. When I was younger and would stay home from school with whatever dramatic reason my parents would believe, I would watch Jerry Springer. All of my friends and classmates would. It was our guilty pleasure. No, not guilty, FANTASTIC pleasure. We were so fascinated with seeing something totally out of our normal spectrum. Keep in mind, I grew up in San Francisco. I vividly remember a man we saw wearing chaps with nothing underneath at our local Safeway when I was 5. Soooo, I was used to seeing weird shit, but Jerry Springer; his guest were different. I hadn’t watched Jerry in years until my free cable was taken away. (Don’t forget to fund my Kickstart campaign about that issue.) I fiend for something to replace my reality tv shows. Unfortunately, the Bachelorette and Hell’s Kitchen weren’t cutting it. So, one morning, I flipped to the CW and there he was. A reunion with an old friend. With any reunion, at first they’re amazing. The OMG you’ve changed or haven’t changed happens. The OMG what have you been up to happens. Then the OMG why did we stop hanging out starts to set in. “Remember why you stopped watching Jerry? You grew up, you matured. Crazy people like that don’t really exist. Geez, what would people think? You’re an ADULT now.” So, after all the enthrallment I recognized from my childhood, I sat back and wondered…” What’s really going on with these people?” Don’t give me that, “Seriously dumbass, it’s all fake.” There are crazy people in ‘Murica y’all. Crazy people love attention…crazy people do crazy shit like a guy sleeping with his GF’s cousin while their GF is sleeping with her BF’s father. So let’s set that argument to the side shall we? What I don’t understand is what the fuck happened to them? What leads people down the road to do something so idiotic and then have the balls to tell the world? I’ve done stupid shit, some of it I share, some of it I keep to myself, but I couldn’t figure out for the life of me why someone would air out their dirty laundry? That is, until my bath. In one way or another, we are all crazy. No one fits society’s norms and whoever closely resembles it is just way better at lying and hiding. Am I saying that everyone is in need of being medicated kind of crazy, no. (Weed doesn’t hurt once in a while though to understand your reflection.) Some of us are without a doubt way more crazy and extreme, BUT, some of them still hide their dirty drawers the same way anyone would. I’m sure they have family members that try to steer them the right way or are embarrassed by them. Don’t we all though? Don’t we still share our craziness with others? Whether getting drunk at a bar and being an ass, telling your friends how you put ketchup soaked tampons on your neighbors car in high school or even having embarrassing or shameful sex stories (Read the stories on Whisper) ; the only real difference is they truly don’t give a fuck about what people think. I do and I’m sure others do too. Basically: Too many of us walk around claiming we don’t give a fuck. We don’t give a fuck about what people think or what they say, but we do. We truly do give a fuck because if we didn’t, we would be incarcerated, in a mental institution, or on Jerry Springer.

:: How can anyone tell anyone that they "don't give a fuck about anything or what their significant other does.." That's like saying "Oh yeah you can cheat on me, I won't give a fuck" Umm sorry but I DO give a fuck about a lot of things, especially if it involves my friends, family & love ones.. Not giving a fuck doesn't float my boat, that bitch gets off my boat.
