Hey guys today's menu Idli, dosa, sambar and tomato chutney. . . There is a story behind today's menu. Some of you might be thinking about the colour of these idli's. I haven't added any colour , actually the case was the idli batter wasn't fermented might be due to the cold weather . So I decided to add some baking soda to it so that the batter would raise. The idli tasted good but it got this yellow colour. Now there are many reasons to it might be because the batter wasn't fermented or the proportion of urad dal. I don't know what went wrong, but I was disappointed to see such coloured idli. If you guys have any other answer to why the colour of idli changed from white to yellow, than please comment.
