Like, just imagine in Book 6, if during the lockdown where the overblotees and Idia and Ortho get to play video games together, Idia realizes he actually has feelings for one of the oveblotees (insert whichever Idia ship you like the most), and that’s he’s actually had these feelings for some time. He was able to have time to hang out with his crush, smile and laugh, and show them his interests; just like a normal teen would. But he doesn’t think it will last, because the River Lethe will rid all of them of their memories of Styx… of the time they spent with Idia. (“Will you still be with me when the magic’s all run out?”) So he’s just venting in his room and crying his heart out about it.

We know Vil is an actor, right? So picture this, Vil voicing Idia’s favorite character from an anime or videogame! Idia didn’t notice at first, but slowly he connected the dots and realized his boyfriend voices his favorite character. So, during sex Idia begs Vil to talk dirty to him while doing said character’s voice! It turns Idia quickly into a mess!
