Anubis wasn’t quite sure yet if it had been a good decision of him to attend the Hallow’s Eve ball. These happenings weren’t really his style, but so far the god had been able to quite enjoy himself. He had explored the utmost ‘terrifying’ decorations of the ball and had stumbled upon both a good friend of his and his son. After having spent time with them Anubis had held a rather fascinating conversation with a demi-god dressed as one of those comic book heroes over at the punch table. But when the demi-god had to leave, Anubis had been on his own again.
Dressed as Baron Samedi for the night the god of course had come to the event on his own. It hadn’t even occurred to him that you could ask another person along with you. Only when he spotted some couples among the crowd had the thought occurred to him. But at the same time it did he also came to the conclusion he didn’t have anyone he could invite with. Which honestly he didn’t feel sad or bad about. The god was quite fond of being on his own.
Watching the dancing couples while he was seated into one of the most comfortable chairs the event offered them the god followed along with the emotions he was able to see and sense on the people whose face he could see. Knowing the most of them to be having fun, some were aroused and he even found one to be envious. A small sigh leaving him when he discovered that emotion in the crowd he lifted up his cane to put it down on his lap. Tapping two of his fingers on the slick black material twice, as if wordlessly saying that he wanted to continue and go on to the next emotion, his gaze got drawn to a goddess who was approaching him. Not being able to recall if he knew her or not, he politely tapped the rim of his top hat in greeting.
