Peter Hedegaard was among the absolute elite of Danish pipe makers. His series are characterized by meticulous precision, elegant, often organic shaping, and outstanding smoking comfort. In Peter Hedegaard’s pipe series, the abbreviation “OP” stands for “One Piece,” while the number 3 indicates the pipe’s quality grade. For pipe collectors, the “OP3” stamp on the underside of the shank is therefore a clear mark of excellence, signifying outstanding wood quality and genuine Danish craftsmanship. It is a highly sought-after collector’s item.

The Aberlour 16 Years Old is one of the distillery’s best-known flagship expressions. It embodies the brand’s signature Double Cask Matured process: the single malt is matured for at least 16 years in two different types of casks—classic ex-Bourbon oak casks and high-quality ex-Oloroso sherry casks. The two cask maturations are blended together just before bottling.
Thanks to this double-cask maturation process, it combines the light, vanilla-like character of Bourbon casks with the deep, fruity complexity of Oloroso sherry casks.

The Bunnahabhain 15-Year-Old "An Cuan Garbh No. 1" is part of the three-part Westering Home Collection from the historic Islay distillery Bunnahabhain. The Gaelic name "An Cuan Garbh" translates to "the rough sea"—a reference to the distillery's remote location on the northeast coast of Islay and the stormy crossing that once served as its only link to the outside world.
The finish in white port imparts a fresh, bright, fruity sweetness to this unpeated Islay malt without masking the distillery's maritime character. Bottled at cask strength, the structure on the palate remains extremely robust and dense.
