I was tagged by the lovely @sagecedarsrunning  for a hydration photo.  i’m currently replenishing my fluids with 2% milk and chocolate chip cookies.  won’t be long before i’m asleep.  :-)

One thing I noticed right away in South America was that when you go out to eat, there’s rarely water on the table. If you want water you have to ask for it, and often pay for it (and they’ll bring you a bottle). This is in very sharp contrast to most American restaurants where you get water as soon as you sit down.

My take on this is that people there are used to not drinking water as frequently as we (Americans) think we should, not that they are just dehydrated all the time. I also don’t think it was a water safety issue; we drank tap water at other times and had no issues. (Maybe I’m too cavalier? But we were in big cities, and I was thinking more about Zika.)

Hydration nudge! Got this sucker for FREE with my reward points today. And it’s pretty. Also purchased a desktop fan, this will help a lot with broken AC issues and inconsistent temperatures. Bonus it’s purple.

I’m only gonna post intermittently about my spinning because I’m participating in Tour de Fleece (coincides with the Tour de France, yes). I’ve started back up my crafty blog – @navascraftycorner (navascraftycorner.tumblr.com) I haven’t done much but I’ll be posting updates on that.

We walked a LOT today. My feet hurt.
