Hogwarts Houses Studying
Gryffindor: beautiful notes at the beginning and scrunchy at the middle, the feeling before solving a challenging exercise, all nighters, drinks 4 cups of coffee per day, βIβm gonna destroy this testβ, βfight me chemistryβ, when walking between book shelves feels like is absorbing knowledge by osmosis
Ravenclaw: mind maps, color system for notes, smells jelly pens and book pages, a lot of stationery, βok, now what do I do with all of these pretty notebooks I just bought impulsivelyβ, tea tea tea
Slytherin: badass handwriting (scrunchy, but still pretty), study groups, could possibly buy a pushcart to carry all the books they would take from the library, classical study playlist, flashcards, when confident to a test looks confident, when insecure for a test looks confident
Hufflepuff: healthy snacks, reads out loud when studying alone, βIβm just gonna take a nap before I study oh shit I oversleptβ, organized desk, morning person, pretty bullet journal, tries not to freak out after reading the first sentence of a hard exercise

Iβm studying Psychology, English, Sociology & Politics in university, Iβm in my first year
Iβm from a rural part of Ireland, lots of cows and sheep
I love dogs and want to own as many as possible when I βgrow upβ
I want to be a writer (fiction) and possible a psychoanalyst/therapistΒ
I love Gilmore Girls (Rory is my icon atm) with a fiery passion

Festive Common Rooms π

I am starting to buy my uni supplies while I am still working at my full time job, trying to sort out my desk is another thing. I ditched the white ikea desk for a antique victorian writers desk itβs beautiful but ever so dusty! And a bit of a fixaupper but I love it!
Iβm getting very excited to study history in a few months hopefully if all goes as planned. I am going to be refreshing my memory of some of my favourite periods before I begin my first term - first up is Victorians!
When I listen to the classes I recorded on my phone I feel like Hermione Granger at third year with the time turner, attending to a class she already seen but needed to revise or that she missed.
I imagine my 3-weeks-ago self paying attention to the class and my now self listening to it too.
If that makes any sense.
Oh boy I should be paying attention.
