#hooky william

ok so in the books; and even the webcomic, William really doesn't seem like he loves Damien or like shows that he's "smitten" or in love with Damien that much (got this off of a Pinterest post btw). So here's what I think:

I believe Will really does love Damien, like a lot. But because he has grown up with people telling him that he has to act a certain way with Monica. And those habits are the way he acts because that's how he's always acted, even if it was with someone he didnt like romantically. I think later on in will and damiens relationship, William will unlearn those habits and actually act like he wants to, not act on the rules that have been implanted in his head from a young age.

So: William does love Damien he just doesn't know how to act because he's never been in a situation where he thought he could be in a romantic relationship that he wanted to be in. It will just take some to unlearn those habits.

I really wish we had more on William because he is truly a complex character that is overlooked, especially to only book readers, because he is seen as dumb and not super in depth. But really, he is one of the most in depth characters that I wish was talked about more.

I kinda want his backstory. Like how we got for Monica, Nico, and Damien.

I got new alcohol markers, and finally got my hands on Hooky volume 2. The girl in the yellow dress is Monica (I’m testing out some head-canons) Also I love Damian so much, he’s my lil guy.
