Inktober 2019 Happy Halloween

From the 27th of August up to the 3rd of September

#WEAREONHOLIDAYS!

((It’s the winter of 1933, It was a snowy and chilly morning in the countryside, yet in the farm’s cottage was nice and toasty. Walter has been helping out Mr. Cotton while Polly and her mother were Knitting some gifts for the holiday season. The two ewes use their wool and cotton, Mrs. Cotton notices that Polly has been getting a bit bigger since She last saw her. Mrs. Cotton simply smiles at Polly Ester and starts making some type of toy with her yarn. It was a Quite morning as they knit stuff while listening to the radio, But with Walter and Mr.Cotton in the other hand... Not so much...))

((When Walter and Mr. Cotton got back home from getting some firewood, Walter’s antler’s got stuck while walking into the doorway. The banging noise from his antlers to the doorway had got everyone’s attention.))

Walter: GWAhhh!

*Polly, Mr. and Mrs. Cotton looks at the tall buck with concern*

Mr. Cotton: Why Walter? Are you doing alright sonny boy?

Mrs. Cotton: Oh My!

Polly Ester Cotton: Oh.. dear...

*Walter ducks down walking in the doorway while rubbing his head and antlers* 

Walter: Heh... Oh, don’t you worry about little ol me, Just good Ol Walt being clumsy yet again. Heh.. heh...

((Polly stops knitting and Checks up on Walter. When she comes to him, She rubbed his head and Antlers and kisses him on the forehead.))

Polly Ester Cotton: There, Doesn’t that feel better Dearie?

Walter: *Chuckles a bit and kisses her on the cheek.* Aw, I feel much better baby!

Walter: *then starts wondering about baby* Speaking of baby, How are you and our little one doing?~

Polly Ester Cotton: *giggles a bit and gives Walter a smooch* Oh The Litte one and I are fine. Say, Walter? Are you sure that you’re family members are jake with everything? I mean, What if it’s a disaster just waiting to happen?

((Walter Gets up from ducking and wrap his hoof around Polly and simply smiles, rather it would be a nervous one or a happy one is really hard to tell to Her.))

Walter: Now Polly Honey, There’s nothing to worry about. After all, You’ve met them, and everything went Jake Right?

((Flashback to that one fancy dinner with Walter’s Parents.))

((With Walter’s family, the Miners, They weren’t cotton/wool farmers but in fact, a bit of a wealthy family. And His father was a Novelist while his mother in the other hoof was just a simple housewife. When Polly, Met his parents face to face, At first they were a bit disappointed that Walter isn’t with a lovely doe but instead with a ewe. But then, later on, they start warming up to her and like her as a daughter-in-law.))

((Back to reality))

Polly Ester Cotton: *Smiles* Right!

Walter: You see? Nothing’s bad gonna happen cotton-candy. everything’s all Jake!

((As Mrs. Cotton Tries to set up the food on the table, Walter comes in to help her out.))

Walter: Oh No Mrs. Cotton, I’ll take care of that! *Picks up the larger plate*

Mrs. Cotton: Oh why thank you, Walter. My Hooves were a bit full.

Mr. Cotton: Hey Sonny boy, would ya help me with these boxes for a jiffy?

Walter: Ah yes Sir, Right way sir!

((While Walter Was Helping out Mr. and Mrs. Cotton, there was a Knock on the door. and when Polly opens the door, she’s Both Mr. and Mrs, Miner.))

Mrs. Miner: Ah, Hello there Polly, I believe that Walter’s hooves are full hmm?

Polly Ester Cotton: Heh... Um Yes of course, Why don’t you two come in, I bet it’s quite chilly out there huh?

((As Mrs. Miner walks into the cottage ducking, While Mr. Miner’s antlers hit the door entrance, He groans as he rubs his Antlers to his head.))

Mrs. Cotton: Oh My! Why Mr. Miner, Are You Alright? 

Mr. Miner: *Nods* Oh It’s Quite Alright Mrs. Cotton, I think that I’ve must have hit my head so hard, I could see nothing but wool and barely any decoration around the house.

((Mr. Cotton and Walter Comes in with he’s Boxes of Ginger ale, Cherry Cola, and Rootbeer.))

Walter: Yeah, You might have to be careful with the doorway... 

Mr. Cotton: And here’s a Rootbeer to make ya feel better! *Gives a Rootbeer to Mr. Miner*

Mr. Miner: Ah, Thank you. 

((Mr. Miner Takes a sip of Rootbeer while Polly realized that  Walter’s Sister isn’t here.))

Polly: Um, Mrs. Miner, What happened to Nancy? She is coming over.. is she?

Mrs. Miner: *Simply shakes her head* Sadly not, so you see, She’s visiting with her husband’s family This Antlers Winter.

Mrs. Cotton: Wait, what is this, ‘Antlers Winter’ Holiday you’re talking about?

((Walter comes in to make sure nothing bad’s happening between the two of the ladies.))

Walter: Well, You see Mrs. Cotton, Antlers Winter is a Deer holiday where deer Male and female respect each other and if you’re nice and kind enough, You’ll get a gift from a Kind old Reindeer who she only gives to kind enough!

Mrs. Cotton: Oh why isn’t that just lovely!

Mr. Miner: Well, guess that explains the lack of decorations that’s for sure.

Mr. Cotton: Now wait just a minute! What do you mean, ‘lack of decorations’ Is it not deer-ish enough for ya?! 

((While Mr. Cotton and Mr. Miner Were about to get up, Polly and Walter Quitely thought up something before things get ugly.))

Polly: Oh um... Father, aren’t you a bit hungry from carrying a lot of stuff and things? and You Mr. Miner, I bet You’re hungry too Huh?

((The Ram and the Buck looks at each other and both of their stomachs starts growling))

Mrs. Miner: Polly’s right, Why don’t we head over to the table and feast like kings. 

((As everyone got to the dining room, Mrs. Miner Brings in a plate full of sticks, tree bark, and Roots while, Mrs. Cotton, Has Hay, Clovers, and Forbs. Mr. And Mrs. Miner were a bit confused with the Cotton’s menu as Mr. and Mrs. Cotton is confused with The Miner’s Menu.))

Mrs. Miner: Oh, That’s strange, It’s nothing but... Just Herbs and... Hay...

Mrs. Cotton: Well, It is a sheep holiday Tradition, after all, The Best Hay the better Wool is what they say!

Mrs. Miner: Well, Last time I’ve Checked, winter never have hay. Let alone the Weather to Grow it!

((As Walter and Polly Looked at each other, Polly Got a Piece Of Root and then starts Chewing it While Walter grabs a piece of Forbs and chowing down as well.))

Walter: Gee wee, Mother, Why don’t you try the forbs, They’re quite good! 

Polly: And Mother, Have you Tried this Root? It’s Really Tasty! 

((As  Mrs. Cotton Grabs one root and Mrs. Miner takes some forbs and Both closed they’re eyes and tried their respectively different foods.))

Mrs. Cotton: MMmm! Why Mrs. Miner, This root tasted like the berries! 

Mrs. Miner: Well, That’s just raspberry bushes roots that’s all, And Wow, Mrs. Cotton, I Love what you did to the forbs, how did you make them so fresh yet so mouthwatering crunchy? 

Mrs. Cotton: *blushes* Oh I did the best I could to defrost the forbs. 

((While everyone’s eating and enjoying the food everyone starts eating the baked potato along with some cranberry pie. after the meal, everyone gathers around the fireplace and listen to the radio. As Mrs. Cotton wanted to listen to the latest soap opera, while Mr. Miner wanted to listen to the sports channel, to see which Stag is gonna win in the championships. Of course, When the two starts to get a bit aggressive, Polly and Walter has to step in and makes an agreement to what to listen, and of course, they listen to the comedy radio show, and as everyone laughed and had a great time, They fell asleep.))

((The Next day Everyone was giving each other gifts and wool related stuff to each other. Mrs. Cotton gave Mr. Miner some Antler warmers as Mrs. Miner gives Mr. Cotton some type of fancy Watch. As Walter smiles He starts to shivers as the cool air comes in, Polly then gives Walter a Blanket, cuddles in with him and gives him a kiss on the nose. And so, everyone got along and enjoyed their winter holiday))
