I really hated the Bryce reveal at the end of the summit in HOEAB, like, no don't coddle Ruhn! All this talk about not coddling women (or is it just in ACOTAR) doesn't mean it's okay to coddle men too, especially for their pride and ego! For one, enough of women sacrificing their truth to prop up a man! I know it was her choice but Ruhn is the sweetest guy he would have gotten over it, been happy for her, and moved on. He deserved the truth! Let women be strong and not have to hide it, especially from people who are supportive and not a threat.
