As we come to the end of my Vampire Counts army (just the Necrosphinx missing) I wanted to showcase my “Cohen the Barbarian”. This is the old version of Terry Prattchets idea of Conan. Prattchet thought: “Conan never seems to die. So how would a 90 year old Conan look and behave?

=> one of the greatest characters in all discworld novels. 

Anyway, Cohen is the leader of the grey horde and he HATES soup! 

This mini was made by “Micro Art Studios” (https://www.microartstudio.com) and represents the painting of Cohen the late Kirby drew in perfection.

And now for my beautiful Vampire Carriage. This incredible mini was made by “Games Workshop” (https://www.games-workshop.com/Home?_requestid=1650437) and was really enjoyable to paint.

Of course I could not go for the greenish whispyness of the official paint sheme. I had to match it to my own version of ghost fire. Also I thought that even though the skelletons and long deads should be animated by the necrotic energies, they should be real skelletons wearing real armor.

And now we come to the last Vampire Counts mini I have. The Necrosphinx! And yes I do know that this mini is usually part of a Tomb Kings army but hey, I don´t have Tomb Kings and so I made her a little more vampiry and put her into my Vampire Counts army. 

This beautiful mini was made by “Games Workshop” (http://games-workshop.com) and is tragically no longer being made or sold. I remember getting one of the last ones before they stopped making them.
