I enjoy seeing a rad map that isn’t totally symmetrical. There are a handful of unidentified bits here. If anyone has a source on the golden orrery, the bench, or some of the other odds and ends, do let me know. It should be noted that this has a similar look to Halas’s lab:

Not a super hot take, but worth mentioning I expect. It’s sort of a shame that they didn’t keep Halas around. The M9 could have a whole collection of villains in the bag of holding. What fun!

The Monsters

Biological Weapon Kingdom Death Gorm Expansion Gorm

Described by Matt as one of his favorite minis of all time and described by the players with an assortment of dramatic facial expressions. The pose is rather disappointing, but the core creature design is quite effective, despite feeling like something created with a rudimentary random monster generator. It might come as a surprise that an elephant-baby-angler-fish is sorta mundane by Kingdom Death standards. Looking forward to seeing what mechanics get paired with this model.

Closing Thoughts and Predictions

Haven’t made any predictions in a while. Hmmm let’s see here, oh I don’t know... maybe there’ll be some other human hybrid monsters, perhaps some D&D driders or Pathfinder accuser devils.
