Festival of Sanganer Bhugarbh Stith Yaksh-Rakshit Amrit Siddhi Darshan Mahotsav (भूगर्भ स्थित यक्ष-रक्षित जिनबिम्ब अमृत सिद्धि दर्शन महोत्सव) which was also known as Jain Amrit Siddhi Darshan Mahotsav (जैन अमृत सिद्धि दर्शन महोत्सव) from June 19 to June 25, 2017, at Sanghi Ji Temple, Sanganer, Jaipur (श्री दिगम्बर जैन अतिशय क्षेत्र मन्दिर संघीजी सांगानेर). The idols have been taken out of the third basement of the Sanghi ji temple, after 18 years. Apparently, in the basement the idols are guarded by yaksh and snakes. A timeline is decided of returning them back to their 'mystical guardians' before bringing them out for public darshan. These beautifully embellished corners with the carver marble and lime plaster is something else... And the variety of marble flooring through out the temple Details of the बारादरी (Barādari) styled temple complex of Lord Chaturbhuj at Choti Chopar in the walled city of Jaipur.

Heres some process work for this piece i did. Here i drew 3 women getting ready in tasteful undergarments. Where they are going, who they are, what they're doing (show girls, getting ready for a party, playing dress up etc) i leave up to the viewer. Little do they know, theres a secret admirer enjoying the view. Watercolour, pencil crayon, and comic marker on bristol.
