Nothing to see here, just a PhD candidate trying to read books and having a breakdown instead. Oh, and waiting for a phone call to schedule an ADHD evaluation because apparently “being Gifted” can cover a whole lot of crap up until you’re in your mid-20s.

Any other soon-to-be PhDs feeling like they need to scream into a pillow as they apply for jobs? Because like... same.

Someone save me from syllabi creation. I’m over here seriously contemplating the utility of discussion posts with the ghost of my college brain screeching in the background.

Y’all, check in with your ABD friends who are supposed to be doing their research this year (you know, before the pandemic hit). We are not okay.
