synopsis. It's that time of the month again, so how do the boys handle it?
Kpop Masterlist
Fandom Masterlist
Waking up, you knew that that day was going to be a problem.
You’d started your period yesterday. And as usual, Day 2 was always the worst for you. Everything felt twice as difficult. Lower back pain? Unbearable. Cramps? Unbearable. Overwhelming urge to not move? Unbearable in your line of work.
Not only did you have to waddle to the bathroom like some sort of deranged cowboy, but the ondol in the apartment stopped working at the beginning of month so your tootsies were cold. Your mother had always nagged that your cramps were worse because you were barefoot on the cold floor. You hated every second you were out of bed…
Not to mention your lower half needed a soak but the unfortunate thing about Korean bathrooms was that there was no tub. Just a double filtered showerhead attached to the sink.
At least the water heater worked…
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
After allowing the discomforts of this morning literally go down the drain, you found yourself holed up in one of Binnie’s pullovers. Not wanting to be confined to your room, you made your move. Fuzzy socks and house slippers on, you trudged your way to the living room, the plush couch calling your name. Everyone was out for the day besides Hyunjin since it was one of the rare days off.
Speaking of Hyunjin, the couch was where he found you not even fifteen minutes later of laying down. Half asleep and cozy with s Pochacco blanket that remained in the living room. The title song of some random Netflix show playing on the tv nearly lulling you to sleep.
As he dried his hair with a towel, he made his way to you. A pep in his step until he saw how your eyebrows remained furrowed. Kneeling by your head, he touched your forehead while calling out to you gently.
“Y/N-ah?”
“Mm?” you roused softly.
“You ok?”
“Mmhmm”
“You don’t feel warm, so you’re not sick…at least not yet.”
“’m not sick Hyunjinnie. My uterus is just mad at me for not being pregnant,” you mumbled.
“Oooh,” he says, already used to how casually you talked about your period with them. With that new information squared away, he took out his phone to message Minho.
‘We have a Code: Empty Nester’
Minho hyung: How is she?
‘Image.png sent’
Minho-hyung: Ah it’s day 2
Minho-hyung: Give me 20 minutes. I’ll be there soon.
Minho-hyung: Message Felix too
‘Ok’
‘Lix, we got a Code: Empty Nester’
Yongbokkie: Which day are we on?
‘2’
Yongbokkie: ‘2 ½ batches of extra fudge brownies coming up.’
Nodding to himself, he looked back towards you. You’d basically conked out on him, so he couldn’t ask you if you needed any of the American medicine you had. Instead he decided to do the next best thing.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
Minho and Han walked into the rapper dorm; hands loaded with groceries for the soup that he was going to make for you. You’d commented once that it had settled your stomach when he’d whipped it up the first couple of times during your period. So now it was basically a staple during these times.
They were rendered motionless immediately after taking off their outside shoes. Through the opening that lead inside the apartment, they were able to see you and Hyunjin asleep on the couch. Somehow Hyunjin had managed to wiggle himself behind you and had essentially koala wrapped himself around you. They silently chuckled as they walked past, careful not to make a sound. It was common knowledge amongst them that you got terrible sleep any time you got your period.
The two of you stayed asleep until the soup was just about ready for lunch. Felix and Jeongin walked through the door, each carrying a kimchi container filled with brownies. Smiling as they watched you stir, Felix handed over his container to the maknae and made his way towards you.
“Hey sleepyhead,” he greeted softly while cupping your cheek as he crouched in front of you.
You gave him a delirious smile in return, still in the process of waking up.
“You hungry?”
“I am,” the muffled voice of Hyunjin was heard from behind you. The two of you giggle as the lanky man detangled himself from you.
“Minho-hyung made your favorite-” the Aussie began.
“Soooup,” you cut him off with a croak.
“Haha, yeah soup. And I made brownies.”
“Extra fudge?”
“Of course, I’m not a monster.”
“You guys are the best,” you said with your best half asleep smile.
“Wanna get up?”
“Yeah, just give me a sec,”
The other thing about Korea was that tampons were not widely used in comparison to pads. So getting a box of 12 was not worth the price. Instead you had to wait for your friends and family back in America to send you a mega pack to keep over time. Which meant that you were able to feel everything shifting as you moved about.
Hyunjin helped you up slowly from your laid down positions. Occasionally having to stop every now and then. Until a sudden pain in your lower stomach had you take a breath in sharply. A few seconds of worried glances from the boys had you reassuring them that you were fine and that it happened every now and then.
“I’m gonna go freshen up first then meet everyone in the kitchen, ok?”
As you made your way to your bathroom, you heard Jeongin calling after you.
“Hyung said that him, Changbinnie-hyung, and Seungminnie-hyung were at the store picking up snacks for your stash. But then Sungminnie-hyung said that they were out of your chocolate covered sunflower seeds. They said they’ll be here in like 15 minutes.”
“Aww, tell them I said that’s ok and thank you!”
Phone in hand, you sat on the toilet. You couldn’t help but reflect as the sounds of the boys getting rowdy in the kitchen intensified. You were very appreciative of them and how far your relationship with each of them had come. How grateful you were for their understanding of you and your menstrual cycle. There have been plenty of childish men in your life that had tried to make you feel bad when talking about it but they were no longer worth your time.
Your guys certainly made everything easier to deal with.
You knew you’d gotten lost on your phone doom scrolling when a timid knock sounded from the door and Chan questioned if you were alright.
‘Uh-oh…’
“…I’ll be out in a sec!”

synopsis. The aftermath of the worst time of your life so far, Part 2 of this fic
Kpop Masterlist
Fandom Masterlist
True to your word, the box of graduation invitations arrived right on time. You’d first gotten a text from kakao notifying you that your package had made it to the apartment safely. Then Chan sent a very dry and short message right after that saying he’d put it in your room. Your room that you hadn’t been in since the whole fiasco last week.
You thought you’d gotten passed this stage with everyone. It was like you were on the outside looking in again. Not belonging with them was such a lonely feeling now that you’d had a taste of it.
Since leaving that fateful meeting room, you’d been staying with ITZY in their dorm for the time being. Not wanting to be near the others outside of practice. Of course they’d tried to message you with apologies since you wouldn’t go home but you were still hurt!
Who wouldn’t be? You were obviously justified with how upset you were about the whole incident, there was no doubt about that. And of course they let you have the space you needed. But if you were being honest, you just didn’t know how to face your members or if they even wanted to really see you.
The messages from the younger ones happened for a day or two but then stopped immediately afterwards. You weren’t sure if it was because they realized they didn’t need to placate your feelings or what. And that thought had led you to spiral downward mentally.
So you stayed away from them for now.
You responded to Chan before heaving a sigh and rolling over in bed. Your eyes becoming heavy as the beige of the wall dulled your senses. It was your only constant lately, besides the girls when they came to check in on you. Ever since you left them, there was just this tightening pressure on your chest that wouldn’t go away.
Sleep would surely help, wouldn’t it?

Chan’s POV
A.Y/N: Thanks.
No cute little sticker. No little emoji. No nothing.
Sitting at the edge of his bed, Chan sighed as he looked down at the only message you’d sent in a week.
Ever since the argument, he and the boys had been lackluster in what work they’d been able to get done. When he saw how hurt you were before leaving that room, he couldn’t face you. He felt ashamed for not hearing you out properly.
And he wasn’t the only one, all the kids felt bad too. Felix, especially. Since he had already known about your situation prior, only to forget in the heat of the moment. Lee Know even had to get him in the middle of the night to stop Felix from crying until dawn when you didn’t come home that first night.
So he wanted to give you the space you needed and deserved.
But they all felt it; the hole your absence had left.
While it was true that you hadn’t been with them for more than a year at this point; you had integrated yourself so well with everyone. He felt like a total dickhead. You had finally started opening up to him. All week prior you had been hyping them up for a surprise and it was—
FUCK!
Why did he do that to you??
He was brought out of his spiraling thoughts by a sudden knock on his open bedroom door. Looking up he saw Jeongin standing there pensively.
“Changbinnie hyung’s back from meeting with Chaeryeong,” the youngest member said.
He nodded before scrubbing his face with a sigh. Getting up and following the maknae into the living room, he noticed his other members had gathered already. Everyone sat facing Changbin as he perched on the sofa, waiting for him to speak.
“How’d it go, Bin?” he prompted.
“…Chaeryeong-ah said that Y/N-ah isn’t doing well,” Changbin reluctantly answered while staring at his hands. Occasionally rubbing them together as a form of self-comfort.
Everyone physically deflated at the news. Nobody wanted you to feel like this, especially when on your own. They all saw how hard you had worked to be a part of their team and their fuck up made you shut them all out.
“She said that Y/N-ah doesn’t really leave their dorm. And that…,” he trailed off.
“What is it Binnie?”
“…She cried the first two nights she was there,” he relayed quietly.
Chan could already tell Felix’s face was about to crumble once again while Seungmin silently ground his teeth together. No one wanted to look at each other.
He looked around the room at his kids. Taking in their facial expressions, downcast eyes and drooping postures. Each one as despondent as the last. He ran his hand through his hair trying to come up with something that could fix this entire situation. He wasn’t sure how much longer they could last like this, you included.
When Lee Know silently grabbed onto Hyunjin’s hand to comfort him, he knew what he had to do.
“Changbin,” he said catching the attention of all of guys. “Call Chaeryeong, I have an idea that could hopefully fix this.”
He didn’t miss the optimistic looks thrown his way.

JYPE Building
That Evening
Your POV
“Chaeryeong-ah, I really don’t want to be here,” you grumbled as you followed the younger woman inside the JYPE building.
“It’ll be really quick unnie. I have to meet with my manager and then we can go out for food. You don’t even have to go up to the meeting floor. Just wait for me in your practice room.”
She picked up on your hesitancy immediately.
“Your group doesn’t have anything scheduled right now, right? No one should be practicing in there,” she gently reminded you.
You chewed on your bottom lip in contemplation at her words.
“It’ll be ok unnie,” she promised while rubbing your arm comfortingly. “I’ll meet up with you after ok?”
She gently pushed you in the direction of the elevators to get to your designated floor.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
All while in the elevator you had contemplated reaching out to Chan. Your fingers fidgeted with your phone strap as you stared down at your message chat with your leader. Your uneasiness showed with how many times you typed out then erased your message to him.
Just as you were giving up for now, you walked into the practice room where you were immediately rendered frozen. You must have been sleeping because there was no way you could be seeing what you currently were. Mostly all of your members were there, though no one had realized you had opened the door yet. With the exception of Changbin, everyone was preoccupied around the room. They weren’t practicing but they were setting up, for what though you hadn’t a clue.
“Felix hyung, do you want any help with setting up the desserts?” I.N asked the older boy as he finished adjusting his side of a streamer.
“No Innie, thanks but I want it to look a certain way…” he trailed off while concentrating on his task. Every other second he would slightly adjust one of the cupcakes on the table before him.
Even with the distance between you, you could tell just how red-rimmed his eyes were. In fact, looking around the room, none of the others were faring well either. The bags underneath their eyes practically matching your own. You hadn’t been able to sleep well while staying with the girls, only getting in naps when you were exhausted. It just wasn’t the same as your home with the guys.
“Minnie, does she listen to this group?” Han questioned, showing Seungmin his phone for whatever playlist he’d created.
Glancing over to look closer, Seungmin shook his head as he tied a balloon shut.
“No,” was his immediate response while grabbing another balloon from the pile in front of him. He was surrounded by many colorful globs already; you kind of wondered how long he had been at it. How long they’ve all been at it. “She’ll tolerate it if they’re playing somewhere but she doesn’t like them.” The puppy explained before starting on the new balloon.
With a look of silent understanding, Han went back to work on his phone.
“A little lower Channie hyung,” you heard from Hyunjin. Turning your head you see the 3 older members of your group huddled next to the wall.
“How about now,” Chan questioned while propping up a makeshift banner. Lee Know stood on the other side trying to be aligned with the oldest member.
“Mm, pick it up just a little,” the artist responded while eyeing them with his thumb out. As Chan moved to adjust his side better, you were able to see what was written on the banner.
‘We’re Sorry Y/N-ah’
Oh. Oh.
This was all for you.
You brought your hands up to your face silently. The overwhelming sense of emotion was enough to make your heart ache. There was a lot of effort put into this, as much as grown men could do on their own at least.
Just as you were about to call out to them, the door busted open scaring the shit out of you and everyone else in the room.
“CHAERYEONG-AH SAID THAT SHE SENT Y/N-AH HERE ALREADY!” Changbin yelled as soon as he entered. He turned to look at you briefly, “Hi Y/N-ah,” and then looked expectantly at the others.
You waved quietly to him in greeting, taking everyone a second to realize that you were there.
“Y/N-AH!”/ “NOONA!”
Wincing at their exuberant volume, you gave them a wry smile, “…Hi guys.”
They wanted to hug you, that much you could tell. The younger ones jumped up from their spots on the ground and began to move forward before stopping themselves. Changbin even tried to reach out for you but balled his hands into fists and kept them at his sides instead. Most of them turned to Chan who cleared his throat and stepped forward.
Your heart raced as he bit his lip in worry. Watched on as he clenched and unclenched his fists; a nervous tic you’d noticed that he did occasionally. He took a moment to look at you. Only then could you really see how distraught he was. His cheeks were sunken in and the bags underneath his eyes were more prominent than usual. And if you squinted hard enough you could see how bloodshot they were.
“Y/N-ah…Y/N,” he started in English quietly. “I’ve been replaying everything in my head since that day. No amount of words I say can ever express how truly sorry I am. How sorry we are. I never meant to hurt you. I never wanted to be that negative force for you here. I value you as both a person and a member of this group. You mean a lot to me, to us. I am so sorry that I didn’t give you a chance to explain yourself. I regret…we regret everything that happened.
We wanted to sincerely apologize to you in person. You mean a lot to us and we realized immediately how hurtful this was. We can’t excuse our actions; we can only try to rebuild the trust you used to have for us. We take full responsibility for how hurt we made you feel…”
“Christopher…,” you finally acknowledged. “You guys really hurt me when everything happened. You don’t know how alone I felt, especially since no one had my back. I don’t ever want to feel like that again.”
Those that could understand English looked down in remorse.
“Noo— Y/N, I wanted to make sure you heard an apology form me,” Felixsaid softly while coming forward to gently grab onto your sleeve. “You told me about yourself and when it mattered the most, I let you down. I am so sorry Y/N, from the bottom of my heart. You may not forgive us now, but I pray that you will eventually.”
“Oh Felix,” you cupped his cheek tenderly. The purple bags and red rimmed eyes more visible now that you were this close to one another. “You’re right. I don’t forgive you right now, but one day. And while it wasn’t ok what you all did, I do appreciate the effort you all are going to.”
“That’s why we did all this, for you.” Seungmin piped up from beside Han, gesturing to the decorated room. “Not so that you could forgive us, but to just show you how much we care about you. That you’re a part of us no matter how stupid we can be.”
Everyone murmurs in agreement at his words. You look around the room again, truly taking everything and everyone in.
“Come home,” I.N blurted out when your silence was too much for him. “We miss you. It’s not the same without you at home.”
Before you could respond, Hyunjin engulfed you in a tight hug immediately followed by a blubbering Felix.
“Come back!”
“Please!”
“We’re sorry!”
You chuckled softly at their antics, patting one of them on the back with you limited range.
From this point on, you knew it was going to be a tough journey forward. But you had a feeling it would work itself out in the end. The painful feeling in your chest that’s been there since this whole thing started began to slowly ease up. You felt like you could finally breathe again.

Part 2
JYPE’s Stray Kids under fire once again as allegations against newest member Y/L/N Y/N begin to arise.
An anonymous individual shared a detailed account on an online forum, recalling instances of alleged verbal abuse by Y/N during their high school years.
Former schoolmates from Jeil High School alleged that the singer was a significant bully and juvenile delinquent during her school years.
You sat with your group members in the meeting room of the JYP Entertainment Building. Most of them looking stressed. Your foot bounced agitatedly as your leg was crossed over the other.
Three news articles lay displayed for the entire room to see. The recent allegations against your person was stirring up old memories of when Hyunjin’s scandal happened. Though you weren’t a part of SKZ when it came out, you understood how hard this must be for everyone.
All this morning, you had been hounded by upper management about this scandal hitting the news. Only, you hadn’t known it at the time…
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
It had started with nonstop message notifications going off on your phone by your personal manager, Heejin, that woke you up. You were never a morning person so you were already upset on the one day you could sleep in. Instead of checking your messages though, you put off looking at them until after breakfast.
But then group manager called Chan two bites into your food to have everyone come in for an emergency meeting. There was a nagging feeling in the back of your head that wouldn’t go away. These two things were related, you weren’t sure why or how but they were.
On the ride to JYPE, you finally got around to checking the messages Heejin had sent. Yet, they were all cryptic and with no real information given. So you were left in the dark regardless.
As soon as the door closed on the nine member group, you, Y/L/N Y/N, were being grilled with no chance to say your peace.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
So here you sat about an hour later. Angry.
You never got angry. Upset maybe, disappointed sure, but never angry. You tried to keep your breathing steady but it was hard. Your jaw was tightened and you could feel a tick about to start. Brows furrowed, you stared a hole in front of you as the managers talked over themselves blaming each other and yourself.
“I’m not going to apologize,” you said with a tone that left no room for compromise. Arms crossed; you continued to stare down at the table before you, refusing to look at anyone.
You heard one of the boys tsk in irritation, Lee Know probably, and a few of them changed positions in their seats. Most likely uncomfortable with the atmosphere and having to deal with this all over again.
The managers decided to leave in that moment to give you all time to talk to one another. Changbin got up from his seat and began to pace behind the group. Chan sat immediately to your left, rubbing at the back of his neck to release the tension that had gathered there.
“Look, Y/N-ah, we won’t be upset. Just tell us everything that happened so that the company can handle it,” Chan sighed out.
Your nails bit into your arms as he spoke up. Not even letting you get a say in even after the managers left. Just picking up were they stopped.
“Noona…,” the youngest of the group spoke up hesitantly.
Jeongin’s voice made you freeze. All the anger you had felt until then melted away into betrayal. Because you know what he was about to ask. Just like Chan and the other’s, I.N also didn’t give you the benefit of the doubt.
“Did you really—”
“Yang Jeongin,” you cut him off equally as quiet. You still couldn’t look at him, at any of them. “I know I haven’t been with you all for even a full year yet but I would have hoped you would know me by now. At least a little.”
From your peripherals, you could see a few of them flinch at your cold demeanor.
Changbin had stopped moving behind you as you got up from your spot. You could feel the familiar prickle in your nose as you started to get emotional. It had been a while since you felt this distance from them. They had ripped open the space between you so easily it was as if it were a cheap chip bag. Like the efforts on both your parts didn’t even matter with how easily they accused you.
Nodding, you hugged yourself tighter, closing yourself off from them and they could feel it. You pulled away from them in this moment as you walked away towards the door. They watched as your shoulders slumped forward and the usual vibrancy that you held within was nowhere to be found.
You cleared your throat and spoke to the floor rather than at the eight remaining men in the room. “If anyone had bothered to let me talk at least once during this whole interrogation, cause that’s what this was, let’s be honest. Or at least retained what you had learned about me in general, this would have all been over before it even started.”
You bit at your lip to keep it from trembling but they were easily able to catch the warble in your voice.
“I never went to school in Korea. To make matters worse, I even told you about this, Felix. I graduated high school in America. In fact, I was even going surprise you all with physical invitations when they arrived next week, but I am going to officially graduate from an accredited American university this December. I have been doing online classes for the past few years and have worked with my academic advisors and professor’s for the classes that had to have been in person. Yay me...
So no, I will not be apologizing for something that my vast amount of anti's clearly lied about.”
“Noona,” Seungmin’s soft timbre was heard. You looked at him briefly but it was enough for all eight of them to see how red your eyes became in a matter of seconds. You could see his and Felix’s hearts breaking on their faces.
“As of this moment, I don’t feel comfortable being near you all right now. Um, for my well-being, I’m going to go hang out with ITZY for a while. Probably stay with them at their dorm for the night or the next three.”
“Y/N-ah—”
“Don’t worry,” you cut Chan off now. “I’ll be on time for practice the day after tomorrow Christopher leader-nim, I promise. Hopefully, you’ll take my word for it this time.”
The door didn’t slam as you left the room. It somehow managed to close softly behind you. Though none of them would have faulted you if it did. They would have almost preferred it over this closed off version of yourself.
“Fuuuuuuuuck,” Han exhaled in despair. Every one of them sharing the same sentiment.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
The next day while you were eating cereal with Chaeryeong, your phone pinged with a notification from the FANS app. Opening it up, you noticed it was the official statement the company put out on your behalf before swiping out of there and locking your phone.
You didn’t want to deal with it or anything revolving around it until you absolutely had to; which wouldn’t be for another day.
You wanted more cereal.

You were roused from your sleep by a familiar feeling. Plush lips pressed against your face repeatedly. The familiar heehee of your boyfriend when he caught you trying to hide your smile from him like music to your ears.
“Channie,” you breathed in as you stretched in bed.
“Good morning,” he said into the crook of your neck, leaving a final kiss there.
He pulled back a bit to look at you, the both of you lying in serene silence. You brought your hand up to tangle in the mess of his curls, still a mess from last night’s escapades. Reaching for your hand, he brought it down and placed a tender kiss to your palm.
“Do we really have to go in to work today?” you whined.
He grinned brightly at your reluctance.
“As much as I want you all to myself, we have to. I have a couple meetings scheduled and then I have to draw up an expense report for last week’s business trip.”
“Oh, poor you~,” you teased him.
You yelped out in surprise when his arms suddenly wrapped around you, bringing you closer only to laugh out loud as he began to blow raspberries into your skin.
“Quit! Chan, you’re getting your slobber all over me!” you wriggled about, trying to get out of his hold but it was no use. His steel grip on you did not loosen.
Both of your alarms chose then to go off, the two of you groaning at the electrical intrusion. Pulling apart, you sat up in bed as Chan went to turn off the offending noise. You watch him silently as he maneuvers around your apartment as if he lived there. He stayed over so many times though, he might as well have. And vice versa with you staying at his apartment, even his doorman no longer had to call him up to make sure you were allowed in.
It had a been a reoccurring conversation between the both of you, moving in together. It was a big step in your relationship. You were hesitant but not because of how Chan was. Lord knows he was one of the better relationships you’ve ever had. No, the issue was your landlord having a problem with you leaving your contract early, but you finally managed to come to an agreement this past week.
All that was left was to tell Chan the good news.
You were brought out of your thoughts when Chan released the breath he was holding while stretching.
“There’s also going to be “surprise” inspection in your department after lunch today,” he said, using quotation marks with one hand while pulling up his jeans over his toned legs with the other. It made you snort until his words sank in causing your brows to furrow.
“Inspection? In the graphic design team? Why?”
“I don’t know, I think the CEO just wants to check that his workers are being productive down there.” He said with a smirk.
Matching his smirk with a sarcastic one, you met him as he bent down with a giggle to give you a kiss. Before either of you could get into it any further, his watch beeped on your dresser.
“Ok, I really have to go now if I wanna shower at home.” He said with a hint of sadness that you hadn’t picked up on. “I’ll see you at the office babe, I love you.”
Pulling away, Chan slipped on his shirt from last night but not until after giving you three more kisses goodbye.
“Bye, love you!” You called after him.

“Hey Y/N, how was your weekend? Did you do anything fun?” your desk mate, Jeon Jungkook, asked as he sat down next to you.
“Nope, nothing exciting. Binge watched yet another murder documentary,” you replied while not looking away from your screen. Though you could already tell he had a disgusted look on his face.
“I don’t understand how you can watch those back to back,” he said wrinkling his nose, all you could do was laugh at his reaction.
It was a secret, your relationship with a certain Bang Chan, current CEO of SKZ Enterprises. If word got around that he was seeing an employee who knows what that would do to your position at the company and they dynamic with everyone you worked with.
The two of you had met during a wild outing one random Saturday night a couple years ago. He was actually doing a body shot off of your friend when your eyes met. And he did not take his off you for the rest of the night. You thought he was the hottest guy in that club at that moment. Had you eye fucking the shit out of him on that bar top as you tried to control yourself.
You blamed your period tracker for saying your ovulation was at its peak that night.
Next thing you knew, you were practically devouring each other in the bathroom stall. Which led to you taking him home and him taking you out for breakfast the morning after. It wasn’t until a building wide assembly where Chan had to give a speech roughly four months into your situationship that either of you found out about the other’s career. Before that you’d only given each other a vague idea of what you each did for a living, so it was pretty surprising for both parties.
You then had a mildly awkward sit down with after that and had a heart to heart. You two tried to break it off leading to roughly a month apart. Emphasis on rough. It was ultimately for nothing since it all came crashing down when Chan showed up to your apartment soaking wet from the pouring rain and another heated night was spent together. From there you both confessed your actual feelings for each other and then promised to keep it hush hush while in the office.
“Y/N-ah,” a voice called behind you, pulling you from your thoughts for the second time that day. Turning around in your chair, you saw your department head, Hwang Hyunjin waving you over.
Heading over to meet him, you could see the way his hands were fidgeting and how his teeth basically mutilated his bottom lip. Raising an eyebrow at his behavior you asked him, “What’s up boss?”
“How are you coming along with the AT.EEZ files?” he asked.
“Oh, I’m almost done. I just have to refine some of the lines and then add the watermark. But it should be good to go before lunch. Why? Everything ok, you don’t look good.”
“That’s great. Wait, I don’t? No, I’m fine. I’m ok. I just got an email from MY team lead…”
He trailed off but you had worked with him long enough to know that he just wanted you to ask about it. If he wasn’t a brilliant artist, you were sure he would have made it big in the world of drama.
“…And what was in the email?” You mustered faux concern, already having an idea on what it contained.
“I can’t tell you,” You waited a beat before he continued. “Ok but you can’t tell anyone yet. I just got word that the head of the company is going to come down here today.”
“Whaaaat,” you blinked more than usual, trying to appear shocked by the news. Bringing your hand up to cover your mouth, you tried your best to shield your smile as much as possible. “What time is he supposed to come down here?”
“After lunch. So are you absolutely positive that you can be done with the files by then? They’re one of our top clients, we can’t let the higher ups have any reason to be breathing down our necks about them.” The wrinkles he gave himself was enough for you to not tease him anymore.
“Yes, I’m sure. You can count on me Hyunjin,” you promised while giving him a little salute. You could see him visibly deflate in relief.
“Ok, ok good. We’ll present your stuff in the meeting room first then. Seulgi, JK, how are the RKIVE drafts?” he questioned, moving past you towards your other co-workers.
With a final nod to yourself, you made your way back to your seat and continued working.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
You worked well until it was time for lunch yet just as you promised, you finished what you needed to. JK wanted to wait for you to go to lunch but you told him to go ahead knowing full well that Jeongin from Accounting would come and find you to go down together.
And just like clockwork, “ Hey Ugly, let’s go.”
“I’m coming Stupid,” was your automatic response.
Your relationship with Yang Jeongin was what people would consider siblings. But if they were the type of siblings that were born too close together and would constantly get on each other’s nerves. Even though you were older than him by a few years, he was able to bring out that twin energy out of you.
The two of you made it downstairs meeting your co-workers Soobin and Beomgyu along the way. Both happy to see you. With them working on the other side of the building, it was nice when you could meet up with them like this.
You thought you had caught a brief glance of your boyfriend but before you could double check, Beomgyu grabbed onto your arm telling you to hurry up, pulling you along with him.
Now, you were sat in the communal cafeteria. In the process of fighting off Jeongin’s chopsticks, which were trying to steal the last piece of meat off your tray, when Soobin distracted you.
“Did you hear that the CEO is going around some of the departments today?”
You looked at Soobin and subsequently lost your last bit of food. Frowning at the brunette, he just continued to chew with a smile much to your dismay. Beomgyu only laughed hysterically, clapping in delight at the scene before him.
“Yeah, I heard about it. Hyunjin was super worried.”
“Heard he’s looking for people to fire,” Jeongin inputted after swallowing your stolen treat.
“He is not,” you said incredulously.
“It could be true! I work in Accounting.”
The three of you just silently stared at him before you reached up to flick him on the forehead. He cried out in pain as he reached for the spot you hit.
“Aht!”
“What the hell does that have to do with anything Stupid?”
“It means,” he quickly got up from his seat startling everyone at the small table. “Shut up, that’s what.” He ended up flicking your forehead back before taking off to the trash cans near the entrance.
“Hey!” you cried after him.
“Mr. Yang, how many times do I have to tell you, no running!” Minho, the Director of Accounting, yelled after his subordinate.
The lunch shenanigans died down quickly with Jeongin’s departure. You, Soobin and Beomgyu conspiring as to the real reason why the head of the company would be checking around the departments. With neither of you coming up with any viable ideas, you had parted at the elevators to return to your respected floors.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
You were currently sat in Conference Room #3 waiting to get the presentation over with. The rest of your small department slowly trickling in. You were next to JK, him raving about what the meeting could be about.
“I’m just saying he could have given us a warning!” His head plastered to the table in front of him. Hands making a mess of his already shaggy hair.
“Then it wouldn’t have been a surprise visit now would it,” you replied immediately to his behavior.
“I’m just saying!” He swiftly lifted his head, you leaning back in your seat to not get hit with the larger man’s limbs.
“Sorry noona,” he said while patting your head.
You waved him off, already used to his antics. Crossing your arms and closing your eyes, you leaned back in your chair, an afternoon nap sounded amazing right about now.
“Like who does he think he is! Making everyone freak out at the last minute, a good boss wouldn’t do that. Don’t you think so noona?” He went quiet, probably waiting for you to respond.
“Oh yeah, can’t stand working for that guy. Hate him sooo much,” you said halfheartedly.
You felt a presence loom over you. So when you didn’t hear a peep from the younger man, you cracked open one of your eyes and came face to face with your boyfriend. Shocked, you almost fell from your chair had Chan not immediately supported you in your seat.
“Cha-Chr-Mr.,” you stuttered.
He was close enough that you were able to see the tick in his jaw.
Oh he was pissed.
“Miss. Y/L/N, follow me,” he got out, voice hard yet face unreadable as he turned back to the door. He paid no mind to the other people in the room.
“But the presentation…,” you uttered weakly.
“Now,” he hadn’t waited for you as he left. Stumbling after him, you caught a glimpse of JK’s worried face.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
You followed Chan as he went to his designated elevator. Being the CEO of the company had its privileges after all. Various workers looking at you in concern as you trailed after the head of the company.
The entire ride up was silent, you weren’t sure if you were supposed say anything or not. And since he wasn’t saying anything, you just followed along. He continued to lead you down to his office once the two of your reached the top floor. His assistant barely casting a glance in either of your directions.
“Han, cancel all my meetings for the rest of the afternoon.”
Han didn’t say anything, just gave a grunt of acknowledgement as he typed away at the computer before him, doing as his boss asked.
As the door shut behind you tried to explain yourself, “Chan, I—”
You didn’t get much out before you were swiftly pinned against the door, Chan’s hand wrapping around your throat. His fingers dug into the soft flesh there, applying pressure as he squeezed, your heart skipping a beat at the very familiar action. Though his grip wasn’t tight enough to cut off your air supply, it was enough to get your insides going fuzzy. He trailed his nose along your chin and up to your ear as he nipped at the soft flesh. His other hand firmly attached to your hip, massaging circles with his thumb since your button-up shifted.
“You hate working for me, baby? Baby, baby, baby…,” his voice gravely and dangerous as he moved his leg in between yours.
“Chan, w-what are you doing, we’re at work,” your eyes fluttered as you tried to move away from his teeth but another squeeze against the sides of your throat stopped you. Instead a quiet sigh fell from your lips as you brought your own hands up to grab at his shirt. Whether to stop him or bring him in closer, you weren’t sure yet.
“I’m not a jealous man Y/N-ah, but twice today I saw other guys have their hands on you.”
“No, they didn’t—”
“You gonna try to lie to me baby?” He questioned with another slight squeeze. You tried not to give him the satisfaction of showing what he was really doing to you. Biting your lip to keep your cool, you took a deep breath.
Then he leant down and bit onto the space between your neck and shoulder gently but firmly, and you were a goner.
“Chan,” you whimpered out as you began to rock gently against his thigh. The hand that had been massaging your hip now guided you back and forth. Heat pooling in your core at the motion. Your mouth opening and closing, wanting a kiss from him. “What if Han hears us?”
“Don’t think you can keep quiet babygirl?” He asked while pulling back from you slightly.
You shook your head no, trying not to pant. “Want a kiss Chan, please?”
“What manners my needy girl has,” he said while giving you a quick peck. The grin on his face was evidence that he knew that wasn’t what you had in mind and he knew it. “Don’t worry, the room’s soundproof. You can be as loud as you want.”
In one motion he had you grinding in a particularly rough fashion and you could feel yourself coming closer to the edge. You could no longer hide your panting from the man.
“S’that feel good baby?” He questioned in your ear.
“Uh huh,” you managed to get out quietly, basically white knuckling his shirt in your fists to bring him closer. “So good baby.”
Then he pulled away and you were left dazed and crying out in confusion. Almost toppling over unsteadily by the door as he made his way to his desk. You shook your head to clear the haze of lust that had made its appearance.
“What the fuck, Chan?”
“Come here baby,” he said leisurely while patting his lap after sitting.
You focused on him as he sat back in his plush desk chair, spreading out and making the space his own. His suit jacket and tie had been discarded on the couch in the room. The sleeves of his white button down were now rolled up and the top couple buttons were now undone leaving his chest and collar bone exposed. His hair tousled from how many times he ran his hands through it the entire day.
On shaky legs, you made your way over.
Swallowing thickly, and with a now slightly clearer head, you understood what was about to go down. You just had to be sure, once more, if it was ok as you took the hand that reached out for you. “Are you sure we should be doing this here?”
He didn’t say anything as he guided you to straddle his lap. His eyes darkened as he looked up at you, gently pushing a strand of hair behind your ear.
“We shouldn’t, but fuck if it isn’t tempting,” he gets out with a smirk.
Before you could protest further, he brought you down for a searing kiss. More teeth and tongue than anything. A degrading moan coming from who knows who.
“Wanna take your shirt off for me pretty?” He asked after breaking away.
Staring deep into his eyes, you trailed your hands over your body. Upward to the top button of your work blouse. As much as you tried to portray that you weren’t becoming a mess, the both of you could tell by the way your hands slightly shook. Fumbling with even the first button.
Chan, deciding to give you mercy, helped you with the first two instead. Eventually you did take over unbuttoning the rest as he sat up slightly in his seat. Trailing butterfly kisses along your collar bone, leaving a nibble here and there. A necklace of red marks appearing in his wake as he went.
Pulling the fabric off your shoulders, Chan slowly brought your shirt down to pool to the floor. Exposed chest on display, he reached behind you to unclasp your bra and tossed it to the side as well. With how cold it was in his office, your nipples immediately pebbled soon after being uncovered to the room. As much as you wanted to hide away from his hungry gaze, you knew he’d reprimand you in some way if you did.
“So fucking gorgeous, and for me only,” he said with a possessive growl.
With one hand supporting your lower back, he leant down, taking one of your nipples into his mouth and sucked hard, causing you to groan to the heavens. His tongue swirled around the hardened peak, occasionally pulling it slightly with his teeth. Chan was there for a bit, massaging away at the flesh with his mouth as his free hand latched onto the opposite breast. A wet pop was heard as he released the bud from his mouth and switched tactics with the other one. Giving it just as equal attention as you squirmed in place.
His arms held you close, keeping you flushed against him as he gave your nipple one last lick. Your own arms came up to wrap around him as well, one hand tangling in his hair as the other clutched at his shirt. The hand situated on your back moving down to cup your ass through your skirt, allowing you to finally move on his lap.
Like magnets, your lips connected together again.
“You’re such a good girl for me,” he said through the bruising kiss.
You shivered under his touch and praise, letting yourself fall further into the sensations. His other hand reaching down to rake your skirt up to bunch at your waist. His fingers teased the edge of your underwear before finally slipping underneath. His thick digits sliding through your folds easily with how slick you already were.
“Fuck…you’re so fucking wet baby,” he groaned against your lips, breaking the kiss to trail hot open mouthed kisses down your neck. You heart was pounding in your chest as the blood rushed to your ears.
“Channie,” You mewled out.
“What do you want sweetheart? Huh, use your words.”
This feeling was sinful. Though Chan’s door automatically locked, just the idea that anyone with the code could walk in on the two of you was enough to make you dizzy. You practically felt his cock twitching underneath you, straining against the fabric of his slacks. The way his fingers only brushed against your clit, driving you insane.
“Fi…,” You couldn’t think clearly as he squeezed your ass periodically the way that he knew would torment you.
“Hmm? Don’t you want to be my good girl?”
You nodded at his words immediately.
“My good girl would know how to use her words,” he teased while giving your ass a slap causing you to push forward. His fingers slipping in slightly deeper than before.
“There! Need you there!”
He smiled brightly at your eager form. His dimples popping out more than usual.
“Here?” He teased as your hips ground against his palm, you just knew your juices covered his hand.
And then he drove two of his digits inside. Your mouth falling opened in a silent gasp of pleasure. His mouth mirroring yours as he watched you intently.
“You’re so warm, baby. Is this all for me?”
You nodded in response, too caught up in the moment to respond properly. Your eyes becoming hooded as he curled his fingers just right inside of you. Each upward motion sending jolts of electricity through your entire frame. You couldn’t have pulled him in closer even if you tried.
“Oh goood~,” you finally managed to get out in a desperate cry.
“That’s it sweetheart. You ride my fingers so well, only I know where to touch you, ain’t that right, baby. Show me how much you want it.”
With the two inside you, his thumb moved in a certain way for it to land on your clit making you moan immediately into his neck. Rubbing at the swollen bud, his fingers continued to pump in and out of you.
“God, I can’t wait to feel you wrapped around me. You feel amazing every time. Wish I could stay in here forever baby. I can feel it, just how close you are sweetheart. You’re squeezing down on my fingers so hard.”
Your cries echoed around the room, signaling your growing orgasm. Chan’s smile grew wider, his fingers working relentlessly between your folds, teasing your clit, and probing deep into your aching pussy.
“You love this don’t you baby? Being filled up by my fingers, making a mess of me at work.” He asked mockingly, voice, low and menacing.. “It’s addicting isn’t it? Maybe we should do this all the time. Just have you come up here every day. Let me have my way with you and no one outside of this room would know.”
Your moans grew louder, borderline screaming. A part of you hoping that Chan hadn’t lied about the room being soundproof. After being edged earlier and the slew of filthy words that kept coming from his mouth, it was no wonder you were on the brink of coming undone so fast. It was as if he could read your mind by the way he started to slow his arm motions down.
“Noo, Channie…baby please,” you pleaded with him not to stop, collapsing fully into him. “Fuck…I’m so close babe.”
The feeling of his fingers suddenly coming out of you was just appalling. The empty sensation enough to make you desperate, you needed to be filled with him.
Now.
“Chan pleeeease…I’ve been good. I’ve been so good, please…don’t do this.” You barely managed to cry out into his skin. He didn’t listen, only brought his glistening fingers to his mouth. You stared up at him, gaze still hooded, as he licked and sucked on his own digits. Your own tongue copying what his was doing to himself. The low groan he let out shooting straight to your frenzied core.
He smirked around his fingers as he tasted you on himself. With a final satisfied groan he licked them clean. Watched as you stared back at him, mouth parted. His eyes filled with lust that more than likely mirrored your own. You bit at your lip, body trembling with anticipation.
“I know you have been, my sweet girl. You ready for your reward?” He rubbed himself through his slacks, visible wet spots in the fabric created by both of your arousals. By now, his cock could have been compared to a steel rod with how hard he’d been this entire time.
“Mmhmm,” Mewling quietly, you nodded. With one hand he brought you in for a deep kiss, his tongue exploring your mouth. The other began to undo his pants, freeing his throbbing cock from its confines. You moaned softly as he teased at your entrance, gliding between your folds before thrusting in without warning. The both of you groaning in ecstasy.
“Fuuuuuck…Christopher…,” his size was one you would never get used to no matter how many times you’ve fucked already
Chan reveled in the feeling that was just you.
It drove him insane just how much he wanted to be deeper inside of you with each thrust that he did. The way you bounced in his lap as he pounded into your tight pussy with a force that should have broken the chair immediately. Your tits bouncy in his face making him loose his mind even more.
“There’s my good girl,” he growled. “I’m gonna give you everything you need. No one else can fuck you this good, baby.”
“No one!” You echoed.
His hands, now holding you, tightened around your hips, holding you steady. The sound of your bodies colliding with each other echoing throughout the room too. His cock slid in and out of your folds with ease, coated in a slick layer of your combined juices.
Without warning, Chan brought his hand down across your ass, the sharp crack of flesh against flesh filling the air. Feeling the sting of his slap, you cried out, your body jolted forward from the impact. But instead of pulling away, you pushed against him, seeking more of that same sting.
“So good baby!” You cried breathlessly.
As he gave your ass another spank, you couldn’t hold back the moan that left your throat. Your backside began to turn pink under his hand.
Neither of you cared.
You could feel Chan’s cock throbbing inside of you. His hand left your ass to tangle inside your hair, tugging at it roughly. The movement caused you to gasp raggedly into the air.
“Gonna fill you up baby, gonna breed this tight little pussy. Make sure no one mistakes who you belong with. You hear me?”
“Yes, yes Christopher! Want you…fill me up…”
He grabbed onto you mid thrust to place you on top of his desk, not even breaking his rhythm. This new position allowed him to reach deeper, his cockhead practically kissing your cervix with every thrust inside.
“Ahh…ahh…ahh..” you gasped out, unable to contain your noises or desire.
“That’s right baby, you love to be filled with my cum don’t you?”
“Y-yeaaaah~”
Chan’s powerful thrusts continued to drive his cock inside your warm folds. You were in haze of bliss, surrendering to the feeling that was Chan.
“Fucking hell…,” he groaned, his voice thick with lust as he pounded into you with reckless abandon. Each thrust brought the two of you closer and closer to the release you so needed. Already he could feel your tight walls clenching around him, milking his cock for everything it was going to give.
“You ready baby?” He asked, the strain in his voice signaling that he was on the brink of losing it.
“Channie!” You choked out as you finally got to come underneath him. Your body trembling as wave after wave of ecstasy wracked your form. Legs locking around your boyfriend to keep him close to you.
“Fuck, I love you!” He yelled; his voice filled with pure ecstasy. His body tensed as his dick throbbed when he came, his cum hot as it painted your walls white. He groaned loudly as his vision went out briefly. He swore, if anyone had asked, he would have said he saw stars behind his eyelids.
He lay there, collapsed in your embrace. The both of you panting, breaths intermingling. He placed little kisses into your skin while you each calmed down from your highs. You trailed your fingers through his hair, feeling awash with serenity.
“I love you too by the way,” you said softly now that you weren’t being fucked out of your mind. You could just feel his smile as he tried to hide into your neck, much like he did earlier that morning.
“Oh no, don’t try to act all shy now!” You playfully chastised, pushing him away slightly to see his face better. “Not after what you literally just did to me.”
All he could do was laugh out loud, eyes disappearing behind his grin. His face becoming red in embarrassment under your hand.
A shuddered groan escaped the both of you as Chan finally pulled his softening dick out of you.

After allowing yourselves a moment to clean up after the debauched act, you were sat in his desk chair, him in front of you. Your legs on his as he sat crossed legged on the mahogany item.
“Alright babe, spill. What’s wrong?” you asked.
“What’d’you mean? Nothing’s wrong,” he evaded, playing with your legs.
“You did not just pull me out of the department meeting over nothing,” you said with a skeptical look. He avoided your stare, choosing instead to trail invisible lines across your skin.
He’s pouting.
“Channie?” You encouraged.
“…” He did the thing that he typically did when he was thinking about what say. Mouth pursed to the side, eyes moving back and forth unfocused. So you waited until he was ready. “Do you not love me?”
“What!?” Floored is what you were. Especially since you literally just told him you loved him back. But there was a feeling in you that could tell that there was something more to this question. Something that had probably been eating at him if his slumped posture was anything to go by.
“Of course I love you Christopher,” The use of his English name was to solidify just how serious you were. “Why would you think otherwise?”
He tapped your leg as a nervous tick before speaking, “I just…why don’t you wanna move in together?”
Oh. That’s not what you thought he would say.
“This morning I just felt like that’s what it would feel like if we lived in the same place together. That I’d be able to wake up to you by my side, bed head and everything. And my heart just felt so full in that moment.
I understand that you want your independence. It’s one of the many reasons why I love you. But seeing how you are with your co-workers, I don’t know. I guess it scared me in that maybe the reason you don’t want to move in together is cause you’re not sure about us. Which is dumb I know!”
“Oh baby…”
“I know you love me. I know you do, it’s just an insecurity I have to work with,” he continued.
“That’s right, I do love you. So very much Chan. And, for the record, it’s not that I don’t want to move in together. It’s just a matter of affording to break my lease early,” With a smile, you held your hand up to stop him from interrupting you. “Before you start, Mr. Fancypants Rich McGee, no, I don’t want you paying for it. That’s not what our relationship was built on and we’re certainly not gonna start now. I wanted to tell you this this weekend when I go over to your place, but I guess now’s a good time as any, considering. I finally have the amount necessary.”
“Wait…,” the hopeful look in his eyes was so precious to you.
“I can start packing my stuff up to move in with you.”
“Baby!”
Chan quickly climbed down from his sat position, immediately scooping you into his arms. If that didn’t show he was excited, the multitude of kisses was sure another sign of how happy he was at the news. The both of you giggling like you didn’t just have a filthy fuck session in his office.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
As you walked out of Chan’s office, after double and triple checking that you looked decent enough to go back to the meeting room, you realized something immediately. Han Jisung sat red in the face at his desk and was doing everything in his power to avoid looking at the two of you. Which could only mean one thing.
Bang Christopher Chan really did lie about his office being soundproof and his assistant just heard everything that went down.

a/n. This is my first ever "published" kpop fic...be nice to me LMAO After having watched SKZ CODE ep. 40, that scene between Hyunjin and Han really stuck with me and just would not get out of my head, thus, this is the result. Constructive criticism would be nice, I feel like I added a lot of detail and it could get muddled and just become a wall of text, let me know what you think.

Friday, 11:53 PM, unknown club in Hongdae
There were people all around you. Many of which were bumping and grinding on each other as they enjoyed themselves in all corners of the darkened building. The bass that reverberated throughout the entire club you were currently in was thumping so loud that you couldn’t differentiate it from the wild beating of your heart. The thrumming in your body kept you grounded as you walked through the dense crowd. LEDs were blinking with multicolored filters and there were even a few fog machines that made the place more hip than cliché. Unfortunately, the constant flashing of said lights made the oncoming headache you had, worse.
God, you wanted to leave.
You weren’t even supposed to be there in the first place. But you had gotten a text from Nayeon an hour earlier that just had “???” and then immediately after a photo of what looked like your boyfriend looking really fucking cozy with some girl for someone who had supposedly stayed late for practice at his company that night.
So there you were, in some random club in Hongdae, trying to keep yourself from turning into a mess. Dating ban be damned, you weren’t the only idol that had tried to date in secret, and you certainly wouldn’t be the last. Yet in this instance, as you made your way to the second floor VIP area, maybe you should have just followed the rules instead…
Was sneaking out of your dorm at the risk of your reputation and that of your group to get some answers a good idea? Absolutely not. And having had left yours and Hyunjin’s nightly skin care routine; claiming a, now very real, headache to go there didn’t make it any better. You’d be in for the scolding of a lifetime if any of the guys were to find out you where you were.

Saturday, 12:45 AM, VIP lounge, unknown club in Hongdae
Moving past the bouncer of the VIP section, Nayeon walked up, having waited for you to come. One look at your distressed state and she quickly pulled you into a hug. Letting go and without another word she turned you to the left and you finally came face to face with what you had been hoping was misunderstanding until this very moment.
Just like it had been in the photo Nayeon had sent earlier, there he was. An overly relaxed looking Jeonghan manspreading in his seat as an unknown pretty girl, who looked far too comfortable for it to be their first time together like this, sat perched on his lap. You both watched as she leaned down to whisper in his ear, placing her hand none too subtly on his chest in the process. The grin he gave her as he wrapped his arm around her waist was what snapped you out of your stupor.
“Y/N, wait!” Nayeon yelled after you as you finally found the will to move forward. Certain now that the thrumming you felt earlier was your heart and not the music.
You were practically in front of them and yet they paid you no mind. In their own little bubble, ignorant to the storm inside you. “Yah… Yoon Jeonghan, are you fucking kidding me?”
Jeonghan glanced at you slowly, like he hadn’t a care in the world for whoever was interrupting him, only to sit up from his slouched position, eyes wide in shock. Instantly pulling away from the girl that had basically plastered herself onto him.
“Y-Y/N! What are you doing here?” He managed to stutter out, frantically looking around, unsure of how you got there.
“I should be asking you the same thing. The PLEDIS building sure got a damn upgrade since the last time I was there,” the venom in your voice apparent even over the loud music.
“Baby, please, it’s not what it looks like!” He gets up from his seat to get into your personal bubble to be heard. You see from your peripheral that the girl he was with slink off to somewhere else. The booming of the music made it hard to hear him but it’s easy to tell that he was trying to make excuses. Jeonghan probably felt the same way because in the next instance he was grabbing you by the arm and all but dragged you to the outside smoking balcony. You try to jerk free but he’s stronger than you, though he is struggling.
“Let me go!”
The balcony is empty of other people surprisingly and the music is still loud out there but at least you’re able to hear each other better as he whorls around to face you.
“Not until you hear me out!”
“There’s nothing for me to hear! It looks like my boyfriend was about to get Real. Fucking. Personal. With. Someone. Else.” You punctuate each word with a jab to his chest.
He grabs on to the appendage only to then forcefully let go as he steps away from you. The tick in his jaw letting you know he was already annoyed.
Good. So were you.
“Look would you just chill the fuck out! We weren’t even doing anything.”
“…She was sitting on your lap and you weren’t doing shit about it…”
“So she was sitting on my lap, who the fuck cares?”
“I do! And as my “boyfriend”, you should have had some respect for your partner and not do shit like that! How do you think that makes me feel Jeong?”
“Oh my god babe, it’s not that serious,” he says as he rolls his eyes, as if exasperated. He raked a hand through his hair, frustration evident in his body language.
“Ok, so if you were to see me with some random guy in the position you were in just now, it’d be fine? Is what you’re telling me?” You question hypothetically while aggressively gesturing to the building behind you.
“Babe…”
“No, I want to understand. Cause you’re saying it wasn’t that bad right? So I can just go inside and find some guy to get with and you’ll be ok with it, right?”
“…You’re starting to piss me off.”
“News flash, I’m already pissed off. If Nayeon hadn’t—”
“Nayeon? Oh yeah,” he spat out as he rolled his neck, “now it makes so much fucking sense. You know she fucking hates me babe, hasn’t liked me since you introduced us eight months ago. I told you she’s not a good friend if she keeps trying to break us up.”
“Oh my god, not this again...,” Now it’s your turn to roll your eyes.
“She’s always putting shit inside your head about us! She’ll say anything—"
“That’s not the fucking point right now! The point is that if you’re willing to do this in front of people, what kind of things are you doing when no one’s a-fucking-round! I know what I saw Jeonghan!”
“Jesus fuck! I made out with someone one time at a party and now you hold it over my head!”
“Because if DK and I hadn’t’ve caught you you probably would have slept with her! You practically had your hand up her dress that time!”
“She literally means nothing to me!”
“So, you’re willing to risk our relationship for nothing?”
“You’re being so dramatic right now for no reason!”
“No reason?” You were stunned.
“It’s not that big a deal! God, if I had known that you were going to be this insecure about our relationship, I wouldn’t have even asked you out!”
“I’m only like this because of what you did!”
The both of you were far too into your heated argument to notice that the door to the balcony open and close.
Only a split second passed as Jeonghan latched onto your arm tightly again and got in your face. You whimper out at the sudden contact knowing full well you’d most likely have a hand shaped bruise to cover up later.
You wince as pain radiates up your arm.
“Let’s get one thing fucking straight—”
But he never got the chance to finish his sentence as he was forcefully yanked away from you. The familiar multicolored hair of you bandmember stands in front of you as Jeonghan nurses his now bruising cheek.
“Felix…?” You whisper in wonder. What was he doing there? How did he know where to find you? Your heart picks up from the adrenaline of this night.
“Don’t you ever put your hands on her again, do you hear me?” Felix said evenly, glaring daggers at Jeonghan. Felix may have been shorter than him but in that moment, he was the most intimidating of the two.
You sat in the back of the blacked-out car that Felix has pulled up in. The driver giving the two of you a moment as Felix comforts your hunched over crying form.
You had learned that when you had first confronted Jeonghan, Nayeon had a feeling something would go wrong and immediately went to call Felix. He had been in the middle of playing one of his games when he got the call and proceeded to also sneak out if his dorm to meet her at the front of the club. From there, he got the gist of the information and made his way upstairs with the thought of being a mediator. Only with what he witnessed, it quickly put an end to that idea.
It was Felix who had opened the door to the balcony in the middle of your argument and lost it when Jeonghan put his hands on you.
After that was a bit of a blur for you as Nayeon and Felix maneuvered you through the club discreetly in case someone saw and the media get a hold of that information. All you knew is that Jeonghan tried to come at the two of you but the 63 taekwondo medal holder put him in his place. Felix eventually managed to get you out of there safely but not before letting you confirm out loud that it was officially over between you and Jeonghan.
Jeonghan was too busy writhing in pain to argue back.
So here you were, finally allowing yourself to feel all the emotions of the night, crying into Felix as he pats your hair soothingly, protective arm wrapped around you.
“I’m sorry you had to come out h-here,” you hiccup.
“It’s alright Jellybean, I’m just glad I got there in time to stop him from doing anything more to you. How’s your arm?”
Sniffling, you pull back from him and shift your arm forward. He turns on the flashlight from his phone to see and the both of you come face to face with the repercussions of angry actions.
As you thought, an outline of bruised digits were beginning to form like a bad tattoo on your bicep.
He sucks a breath between his teeth as he ghosts his fingers over the bruise. He’s silent as he tries to reel in his anger as he fights himself on going back inside and beating the shit out of the other idol.
But one look at your tear-stained face stops him.
“I’ll tell Chan and Lee Know-hyung that I called you over to our dorm later so they won’t go looking for you. That way you can just stay in my room.”
“Oh Lix, you don’t have—”
“No it’s ok, I don’t think you should be alone right now and I’m pretty sure you don’t want anyone to know about what happened.”
You stay quiet because you know he’s right. Reluctantly, you nod at his offer, grateful for the angel of your group.
He gives you a small sad smile as he brings you back into his arms, placing a comforting kiss on your head. Doesn’t say a word when you quietly start to cry again; just continues to pat your hair as the driver comes back into the car and takes the both of you back to Felix’s dorm.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
You spent a total of 5 days in Felix’s room, crying. You finally managed to explain to Felix that you and Jeonghan had been secretly dating for about 10 months until then but that he had already cheated one you at least once, that you know of, before at an after party of one of the award shows. One of Jeonghan’s members had been with you when you caught him in the act and had gotten you out of there before a scene was caused.
You’d forgiven him after some heavy persuasion on his part but that left you feeling insecure about the relationship since it happened just about a month ago. He’d always had anger issues, but the night at the club was the first time he ever tried to grab you like that. When Nayeon eunnie messaged you that Friday night about seeing him with a different girl this time; you had to confront him before he had a chance to deny it.
You felt bad but Felix kept reassuring you that it was ok that you stayed there and that made you want to cry more. As he promised, he messaged the oldest members of your whereabouts. And with good timing too since according to Chan, Hyunjin had went into your room Saturday morning to wake you for the morning skin routine, but you were gone and he was about ready to freak out.
After that first night, Felix came up with the plan to say that you got hit with a weird bug and that it’d be too much of a hassle to move you back to your room in the 3RACHA dorm (plus you and Hyunjin) so you might as well just stay in his room for the time being. Minho came to check on you that night, but Felix managed to convince him that it wasn’t bad enough to go to the hospital; you just needed to rest and eat something not too heavy. It wasn’t that far off from the truth honestly, and it was a good excuse to stop anyone else from checking up on you.
So Felix’s room was now a designated “quarantine zone” and no one was allowed to go in and bother you. Felix being the only one able to go in and out since it was his room after all. Your phone had been bombarded with texts from all your members trying to check up on you, pinging every few minutes with memes and well wishes. It wasn’t until you kept getting back-to-back calls and texts from your now ex-boyfriend that you turned off your phone, not wanting to deal with him now or ever again.
Just like you thought, the bruise on your arm had gotten darker and it was easy to tell what had caused it. With just one glance at your arm, you knew that with how protective the guys were over you, that the entirety of Stray Kids would go looking for a fight with your ex and your group absolutely did not need any heat in the media right now. It was hard enough keeping Lix from going out there once he looked at your arm again and taking matters into his own hands. Let alone all eight of them if word got out.
No, you had just wanted to wallow in self-pity for now.
Currently, Felix sat next to you in bed as you lay curled up by his side. He was letting you know that Chan had stopped by again to check on you when you were asleep earlier and had left you your designated SKZOO, a bear cub named Gom-N/N-ie, to “help you feel bettah.” You felt guilty for lying to him, all of them really, after that while accepting your SKZOO from the sunshine man. Bringing it to your chest, you bury your face in the familiar feeling of your plushie.
“You know you don’t have to go tomorrow, right? We can tell the managers that you’re sick, too,” Felix’s deep voice broke through the quiet of the room from his spot next to you as he gently combed his fingers through your hair. Tomorrow all of you were to begin shooting for a special new episode of SKZ Code for Chuseok. You’d completely forgot about it until you overheard Minho and Innie talking about it outside of the door earlier.
You were quiet for a moment, contemplating on what you should say and do. You know you can’t keep hiding out in Felix’s room like this, it’s not fair to him. He doesn’t like lying to the other members either yet is doing it just for your sake. He’s been working hard to deflect any and all questions, comments and concerns about your wellbeing while also placating everyone else. You’ve definitely put your younger member in a difficult position.
You owe him a lot, your little sunshine.
“…I’ll go.”
His hand stills in your hair, waiting to see if you’ll say anything else.
“I’ll go with everyone tomorrow. You’re probably sick of me being in here anyways,” you quietly laugh out.
“Naur, what?” His Aussie accent coming out as he switches from Korean to English and back again. “I’m not sick of you, I could never be. If anything, the others are jealous cause I’m the only one that’s gotten to see you!”
“That’s such a lie, Lee Yongbok!” you finally laugh out loud for the first time since Friday night while swatting him in the leg playfully.
“It’s true, noona! Binnie Hyung was about ready to tackle me to get inside the room yesterday!”
The image alone of your buff bun trying to tackle your sunshine lad had you in stitches. What you didn’t see was the loving gaze of said sunshine, glad to see you at least somewhat happy again after everything that’s happened.
For this moment in time, that’s all he could ask for.
Felix gently grazes his fingers over your bruised arm, his smile slightly faltering at what he sees. Moving his hand back to your hair, he gently pulls a few strands just to get your attention.
“It’s gonna be ok, you know. I’ll be there to help you if you need it, alright? You’re not gonna be alone.”
“I know Lix…thank you. For everything.,” you respond quietly.
His only action is to bend down and give you another comforting forehead kiss. The two of you remain quiet for the rest of the night until it was time for bed.

Thursday, 8:15 AM, VOCALRACHA dorm
As soon as you followed Felix out of the bedroom, you were accosted by the one and only maknae on top.
“Noona!” Jeongin yelled out, too loud for what time it was. “Are you feeling better? Do you need more medicine, a doctor?”
“Yah! Let her breathe.” The three of you jump in the middle of the hallway as the admonishing tone of Minho could be distinguished from the kitchen. He’d probably heard Innie from all the way over there.
Chuckling, you give him a small smile and a pat to his head to calm him down.
“I’m ok right now Innie, thank you for checking up on me.”
“You really had us worried noona, Lee Know-hyung was about to burst in there and take you to the hospital himself as soon as he found out you weren’t feeling good if it weren’t for Felix hyung.”
You’d figured something like that was bound to happen. You were even more grateful to Felix for all his efforts. You giggle at his comment and the three of you continue to the kitchen where Seungmin was also waiting.
“Morning everyone,” you greeted, sitting down next to the second youngest of you all.
“Are you sure you’re feeling ok enough to shoot today?” Seungmin asks quietly while placing a cup of juice in front of you which you gratefully take. You nod in agreeance as a bowl of porridge is placed in front of you. Minho pats your head before walking away to get the other dishes for breakfast.
“We’ll let the director-nim know that you should take it easier today at least,” he says while serving the rest of the guys at the table. Before you can protest, he sends you a heated look that leaves no room for argument.
With a twitch to your lips, you can’t help but to agree with him too. “I understand, thank you for breakfast.”
Meeting the other half of your group went just about the same. Except more scolding from Hyunjin for skipping out on your daily routine. Although that was mostly an excuse because he was just so worried when he didn’t see you in your room that first morning.
“Really Y/N-ie, you should have messaged me first!” the pout on his lips not hard to find as he tugs on your sleeve.
“Y/N-ah, you should have seen him!” the boisterous voice of Changbin joins the two of you as you sit in your designated dressing room waiting for your leader’s return. The two of them immediately ambushing you, much like Jeongin this morning, upon your arrival. “He wouldn’t stop bothering Channie hyung for information on how you were doing!”
That evokes the lankier one of the two to get flustered and from there the two start a playful argument of no-I-wasn’t’s and yes-you-were’s. Just being with them again really did set your mind and heart at easy after the past couple of days. Not to mention a good distraction.
A quiet “noona” catches your attention from the squabble in front of you and has you turning to face Han questioningly.
“I brought you a red ginseng drink to keep your health up today.”
You wanted to cry again for an altogether different reason. Your members cared for you so much, each in their own different ways. You don’t know what you’d do without them.
“Ahh, thank you, Hannie. I’ll drink this right now.” The initial taste of the ginger is gross but it had a hint of sweetness at the end so the overall drink wasn’t too bad. Especially if you try to take it all in one go.
Han sits next to you on the couch, Felix following shortly after, as I.N and Minho join in on the fray to annoy the already hyped-up boys. Although they could all be loud and wild sometimes, it was just a part of their charm.
Chan comes back into the room about 5 minutes later gaining everyone’s attention.
“Alright, I got everything squared away with the director and producers. Y/N, they know you’re just getting better,” he states, staring directly at you as if he—, no there was no way, right? “So, you’re going to be given more of the easier things to do alright?”
The panic in your head only allows you to nod at him as you grab Felix’s hand for a quiet support. He doesn’t skip a beat in intertwining your hands together.
“Great, we’ve got 10 minutes before they want us to start going to make up and changing. Then we’re all going to film an intro piece for the episode. Anyone have any questions or problems with that?
When no one responded, Chan just nods and heads to the far corner and sits with his phone for a bit. You can’t help but think you feel his gaze every once in a while but brush it off as paranoia.
The time eventually comes to split off as the boys go to their own designated dressing room and you stay in the current one. The stylists helping you to get ready for what is surely to be an interesting shoot if the hanbok you have to wear is anything to go off of.

You stand off to the side, waiting for your cue to join, with the rest of the group as Channie and Felix do the beginning of the intro skit. It’s hard to keep the giggles in with how cute the both of them look and act.
“Hi...,” Chan started out shyly.
“Hi!” Felix sassed out immediately in response.
“How old are you?”
Felix counts slowly with his fingers, “…Three. How about you?”
“I’m five. I’m older than you.”
Felix plucks out two more digits to make five on his hand.
“You’re right.”
“Mm”
“You don’t look older though.”
“Why are you talking down to me?”
“Mind your own business.”
“Don’t talk down to me!”
“Don’t yell!”
“Okay…,” Chan whispers out. “Mommy!”
“Daddy!”
They both start crying and that’s your you cue to walk into the frame behind them.
“Hey! Stop crying!”
“Noona!” “Eunnie!”
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
Filming was going smoothly so far. It was just the beginning though so nothing too taxing had happened yet. Felix just finished introducing himself as three-year-old Yongbok who gets her good looks from her mom and wants to live with her mother after their divorce.
“Waaah, my little sister is so cute,” you say out loud with a smile, Felix sticking his tongue out at you in response.
“Yes, both of my daughters are so cute,” Lee Know says while pinching your cheek since you sat beside him. There went your smile.
“Ahh! Mom!”
“Y/N-ie, it’s your turn to introduce yourself,” Seungmin, as your father, says not even bothering to help you out. You make a noncommittal sound as you fight with Lee Know to let go of your cheek still. More than half the guys laughing at your antics.
“Mom, please!”
“Ohh, but how can I let go of these cheeks huh,” he says in a babying tone, as he does in fact, let you go.
You rub your cheek as you sit down on the stool and face the proper direction.
“Hello, I’m Yongbok’s older sister, Y/N. I’m tirelessly working on maintaining my high marks in school but currently on break from university. So I’m glad to be home and able to spend this time with my family.”
“You get you book smarts from your dad,” Han says chuckling.
“And your street smarts from your mom,” Seungmin joins in. Lee Know, jokingly takes the bubble gun blower in front of him and aims it at his ‘husband’.
“That’s right, so you better watch what you say.”
You’re laughing at the scene before you as Hyunjin continues the skit, “Y/N-ie, what are you studying in college?”
“Uhh,” you didn’t really have a concept for this character, until you lock eyes with Chan and then the kiddie computer in front of him. “I’m studying…m-music producing?” you get out before laughing since producing was certainly not your forte. And everyone in front of you knew that.
“Noona is so cool,” Chan says from his spot on the ground. “Better than my older brother.”
“Aww, thanks Channie,” you beam at him as he beams back.
“Yah Bang Chan!” Binnie yells from behind him before yelling in pain because Chan leaned back against his legs.
“Changbin, don’t yell at you brother,” Hyunjin says as his mom.
“Mmm, my daughter is so talented. Getting in the best university of the country, getting good grades and look at her face, just like me,” He strikes a little pose. “Maybe next holiday she’ll bring home a boyfriend,” Lee Know continues in character.
The smile on your face freezes as your heart zings in pain. You’ve become still in your seat as you feel Felix’s eyes on you. He being the only ones to notice your hands balling into fists on your skirt.
“…Mom,” you start off slowly. Your hesitancy easily mistakable for your character’s young adult/college student love life being interrogated by their parent. “That’s…”
“She doesn’t need to be dating in college,” Seungmin cuts you off. “We met in college and now we’re getting a divorce!”
“Yeah but she won’t meet a mistake like you and go through any hardships. So she’ll be fine .”
Grin faltering, you begin to bite the inside of your lip to stop your eyes from getting glossy. Your nose starting to sting, a tale tell sign that you wanted to cry. Your actual hardships flashing in your mind.
“Mommy, daddy, don’t fight,” Felix tries to distract them.
“We’re not fighting,” Lee Know quickly responds as you get up from your seat to switch places with him. Felix quickly looping his arm around yours, taking your hand in his, giving it a quick squeeze.
You give him one back as you stare at a spot by your feet.
.
.
.
Despite the earlier hiccup, everything was going fine. Both Lee Know and Seungmin went on to introduce themselves, which was a skit about how Lee Know got married for money and that they were in the process of getting a divorce more than anything. And then Innie looking out for his nieces because what was said in front of them.
It was then decided that Yongbok was going with Lee Know and you were going with Seungmin. Both kids pouting at this information for being separated.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
Next up was Han, who’s outfit immediately got torn to pieces by everyone in the room. Him trying to explain that he got his style from his father caused everyone to derail in laughter.
He brings back everyone’s attention by restarting his introduction.
“I’m Yongbok and Y/N-ie’s uncle, but I could be their new father.”
“Their new father?” Lee Know questions immediately as you and Felix looked shocked at him.
“I mean, I’ll be that much kinder to them.”
A few of the members understand what he means by that and Hyunjin speaks up in relief, “I was worried.”
“Hey, just a few days ago,” Seungmin speaks up from beside you asking a seemingly innocent question until it wasn’t. “Did you enjoy dinner with the friend I introduced to you?”
There was a pause in the room. Han looking a little shell-shocked as he responds.
“Why are you mentioning that now?”
Everyone’s quiet as Hyunjin gets up from his seated position. Your heartbeat picking up, flashes of your very recent tragedy of a relationship flashing in your mind. All the heartache came rushing back as the scene before you kept unfolding. Your heartbeat picking up in your chest as you look between the two.
“What does that mean?” Hyunjin asked cluelessly.
“You knew mom’s a jealous person!” Changbin yells from his spot next to I.N.
You can’t say anything as the ball of emotions in your throat gets bigger. Felix tries to comfort you but gets pulled away by Lee Know who’s trying to cover his eyes.
“Close your eyes and open your nose,” he says to Felix. If only you could shut out the blood rushing in your ears.
The deep breath that Hyunjin takes is something you felt from deep within your core. “Try explaining yourself.”
“What?”
“Try explaining.”
“You didn’t tell her?” Seungmin jumps in with a grin, making the situation worse. “I thought you did.”
It’s a joke. It’s a joke. It’s a joke.
You repeat to yourself as you try to control your breathing. It’s not their fault that you basically went through something so distressingly similar not even a week ago and they didn’t know about it. Staring at your lap, your hands begin to tremble and you can just feel your lips wobbling.
“Honey,” Han laughs out nervously.
“Was she prettier than me?”
You bring your hands up to cover part of your face. That had been one of many questions that had been plaguing you since the first time Jeonghan had cheated on you. You never got a good look at the first girl and the second girl was definitely pretty to you. You close your eyes, eyebrows furrowing, to try to block out the scene. You hope they can’t here you sniffling.
“…Yaaahh,” is all that Han can respond with, wanting to avoid answering the question.
Did he even feel guilty for what he did? Or did he just move on as if the last 10 months together didn’t mean anything?
A warm hand on your knee makes you open your eyes and you’re met with Chan’s concerned gaze as your eyesight becomes blurry with the tears quickly gathering there. His concern quickly becomes full on worry as a single tear drops down your cheek.
You needed to get out of there, quickly. It was a wonder how the others haven’t picked up on how upset you’re getting.
“Mom, no one’s prettier than you,” Changbin pipes up as he stands up next to Hyunjin.
“That’s right!”
Did Jeonghan ask his members not to tell you anything? Were they in on everything?
“Lee Know…?” Han questions.
“Huh?”
“Don’t tell them we met yesterday.”
Would they have told you if they knew? Or did they all laugh about you behind their backs? Did Jeonghan even like you, or did he just keep you around because you were convenient?
This endless cycle of negative questions kept spiraling in your mind as the skit the boys were doing continued to play out before you.
Lee Know, with a grin on his face, turns to look at Hyunjin who’s sat down next to Seungmin again. “It’s fine, I saw someone today too.” Hyunjin says in retaliation as he grabs onto Seungmin.
“Wait a minute…” Han starts but you’ve had enough by this point. The sob you try to hide was heard throughout the group and everyone freezes.
You hurriedly get up from your spot between Seungmin and Felix and trip twice trying to get out of there. The chaos that ensues as the fabric of your hanbok getting caught under your foot was instantaneous as Chan, Changbin, and Felix immediately try to catch you. The small leg space not making it easy to leave quickly.
“Noona?” I.N asks fearfully, breaking character as he sees the state that you’re in.
“Y/N-ah?” Minho asks from his side of the couch starting to get up from his seat.
Han, Seungmin, and Hyunjin quiet in their shock of what’s happening.
“Sorry—, I—, Please…,” you sob out as you finally get out of the cramped space. Felix and Chan following right behind you as you run to the restroom to lock yourself in there. The door closing in both of their faces. The brief look at your expression, blotchy and covered in tears, breaking their hearts.
You hug yourself as you slide down against the door, finally allowing yourself to cry fully. Even through your sobs, you can hear the other members coming up to the other side of the door to check on you. You could faintly make out the deep timbre of Felix’s voice most likely trying to diffuse the situation which makes you cry more. You weren’t ready to face any of this, or them, now. Should have just stayed home instead of making a mess like this.
You weren’t sure how much time had passed when you heard a gentle knock on the door behind you. Your tears still flowing slowly but at least you weren’t full on sobbing now. Sniffling, you’re hesitant as you look towards the locked doorknob.
“Y/N-ah, it’s just me,” Chan says from the other side. “Everyone else went to go talk to the manager and director to give us a break right now.”
Not saying anything, he clears his throat before asking quietly, “Do you think you can let me in?”
The double entendre isn’t lost on you. Whether Chan knew what he said or not was unknown to you. With some tentativeness, you manage to wiggle to the wall to be able to unlock and open the door for him.
Chan slips into the restroom and closes the door swiftly behind him. You look small to him as you sat huddled into yourself on the ground. Not like your usual boisterous self. He doesn’t say anything as he sits down next to you. Doesn’t pressure you to say anything, either. Just sits with you, waiting patiently for you to be comfortable enough to tell him what’s wrong.
So you sit there in silence for a few moments more. Trying to gather the courage to lay yourself emotionally bare to your leader. You pick at the fabric you have on, sniffling every now and then until Chan gently places his hand over yours in comfort. And to probably stop you from tearing a hole in your clothes…
He lets you play with his hand until you manage to take a deep breath. For the second time since the whole fiasco happened, you find yourself confiding your problem with a member. Going into a bit more detail than what you did with Felix.
You told Chan everything while on the floor in that little restroom.
How you first met Jeonghan, how you kept bumping into him after the shows you all did, how you ended up exchanging numbers. To how you kept in touch after that, kept meeting up until he eventually asked you out. Occasionally sneaking out of the dorm to meet up with him at his insistence.
You thought Chan would get mad at that, but he didn’t say anything. Just squeezed your hand to get you to continue with your story.
You told Chan how you caught Jeonghan cheating the first time, and how DK all but dragged you out of there but it didn’t even matter because you saw everything. That messed you up mentally and was the reason why you had messed up a lot during dance practice the next day.
Chan remembers the day you were talking about. He thought something was wrong but kept it to himself, hoping you’d come talk to him about it, but you never did.
You explained the fight that happened a week after catching him back then. How you eventually, and stupidly, ended up forgiving him and continuing the relationship only for him to go behind your back and do it again a couple of days ago.
“So you weren’t sick?” he cuts in, finally breaking his silence.
“I mean…not in the contagious sense…,” you explain while turning to him. He nods, letting you continue as he tries to wipe the dried tears off your face.
“So yeah, Nayeon called me up that Friday night and I had to sneak out to Hongdae. Sorry…about that by the way…,” you clear your throat, avoiding eye contact with him altogether. “So I saw him literally in the act again and had to confront him about it this time. We ended up going outside and basically just having an all-out screaming match with each other. Where, by the way, he tried to gaslight the shit out of me, but it didn’t work. Thankfully, Felix showed up when he did though because Jeonghan ended up grabbing me really hard. Who knows what he could have done if Lix hadn’t gotten there in time.”
You let go of Chan’s hand, which was still intertwined with yours, to rub against your bruised shoulder.
“Wait…he put his hands on you?”
You don’t pick up on his tone as you nod and take off the jeogori jacket layer of your hanbok. Presenting your, now, heavily bruised arm, Chan takes it delicately in his hands.
“I asked the stylist to try to use coverup on it, but it was just so dark and it still hurt so she couldn’t do much about it in the end.”
Gently, he touches the colorfully marred skin not saying a word, his jaw ticking in anger at what he’s seeing.
You don’t even get a word out before he’s up and bolting out of the restroom. Face clouded in rage.
“Ch-Chan!” Scrambling, you grab the jeogori from the ground and run after him, not even bothering to put it back on. “Channie, wait!”
The other members of your group had managed to clear the room of the staff and had been hovering close the door the entire time, waiting patiently for the two of you to come out. What they weren’t expecting was an infuriated Chan and an anxious you to come out of there.
“What’s happening,” Changbin asked, lowkey getting worked up just seeing his leader on edge.
“I’m gonna kill him,” is all Chan says.
“Who?” Han asks, also getting anxious.
“Noona, what happened to your arm?” Innie asks from beside you, gently grabbing your bruised arm. That captures everyone else’s attention. Your face pales as you realize your mistake.
“Is that a bruise?” “Why does it look like a hand?” “Who the hell touched you?” “Noona, are you ok?”
“I— ,” you’re on the verge of panicking, not knowing what to do.
This catches Chan’s attention and breaks the trance of rage he’s in. He makes his way back to you and brings you into a big hug. He holds you in his arms as you try to hide away from everyone’s prying eyes.
But honestly, they’re just so worried about you.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” Channie whispers into your hair. Shaking your head, you understand everyone’s concerns, you just wish it wasn’t revealed this way.
Keeping your face in Chan’s chest to hide, your muffled response is heard. “Long story short, I got into it with an ex a couple of days ago because he was cheating and he…put his hands on me…”
Just like you thought, they were all visibly upset for you.
“This happened to you…and I was…” Han became visibly pale compared to the others as his actions up until you ran out sprang to his mind. That prompted the other boys, besides Felix, to realize why you had gotten upset enough to leave the set in the first place. All of them immediately apologizing to you, getting upset with themselves and begging for your forgiveness.
“Who is it?” Seungmin asks menacingly from somewhere behind you, voice quivering with emotion. Guard dog mode being activated.
“No, guys—”
“He’s gonna wish he only got a bruised arm once I’m done with him,” Changbin says while rolling his neck in annoyance now. Minho and Felix are taking off their own hanbok’s as I.N and Hyunjin stretch out themselves, preparing for a beatdown.
“Noona, seriously, who did this to you?” Han asks you quietly next to you, mood sad yet protective.
“Guys really, there’s nothing to forgive. You didn’t know what was going on, you don’t have to do anything,” You pipe up, finally pulling away from Chan a little. His arms tighten around you slightly, not wanting to let you go fully.
“Y/N-ah, we have every right to want to have your back on this. He’s not gonna get away with putting his hands on you,” Chan explains to you still upset about all the information that you’ve shared with him.
“No, I get that, I swear,” you rotate in his arms to face the others. “I appreciate all of you wanting to go and kick his ass. But I swear it’s not necessary. Felix already beat the shit out of him. His company put out a statement saying he’s taking a break for a bit for ‘health reasons’.”
All of you turn to Felix, who’s now taking off his headband, cool expression on his face. “I’m not against kicking his ass again, Jellybean.”
You stare at him dumbfounded until you burst into laughter because of course he wouldn’t. None of them would be. Because this is your family away from family. They’re dead set in wanting to protect you, and each other, from any and everything that could be harmful.
The others stare at you as if you’ve finally lost your mind which prompts you to just say, “I love you guys.”
Felix, besides Chan who is still holding you, is the first to step up and give you a very much needed hug. A little confused, the rest of the guys follow suit and you all end up in one massive hug.
Until one of the younger boys starts fighting with Changbin and they all break away.
“Don’t think this lets you off the hook for sneaking out of the dorm, Y/N-ah,” Chan says out loud from behind you as you’re still wrapped in his arms.
“You did what?!” Minho could be heard yelling, which causes you to groan.

synopsis. It was guy's night, so why's your phone ringing??
Kpop Masterlist
Fandom Masterlist
You were in the middle of your nightly routine. Comfy pajamas on, hair up in a messy bun, headband in place to keep your baby hairs from getting in the way. Your phone, next to you on the bathroom counter, played your music of choice for the evening. All in all, it was peaceful in your apartment since your boyfriend was out having a guys night with his friends.
He’d wanted you to join them, insisting it would be fine if you tagged along. But you declined his many offers.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
“You sure you don’t want to go with us?” He had asked as he sat at the dinner table to keep you company. He was already dressed to go out, his shoes the only thing waiting for him by the entrance.
At the time, you had been cooking dinner for yourself since he was about to leave and they had planned to eat out together first before going to the club.
You chuckled in your spot by the stove since this was at least the fourth time he’d asked you that day. Stirring the soup in the pot once more and then turning the dial off, you moved to him. Stepping up to him, you wrapped your arms loosely around his neck.
“Yes, I’m sure babe,” you told him with a smile on your face.
“But you know the guys wouldn’t mind you coming with. They really like you,” He tried to hide his pout as his arms came around your waist to hold you, too. One of his hands slid under your shirt to rest on your lower back gently, a habit that he’d had ever since you first started dating. When you had asked about it once, he claimed it helped to ground him, that you grounded him.
“It’s been three years Ji, I sure hope they’d like me by now,” you said with amusement in your voice as you gave him a peck on the lips.
It took you two more times to reassure Han that you were definitely ok with not going tonight. It’s not that you didn’t want to go with him, you just had a date with a glass of wine and your favorite tv show program. The first episode of the new season had just released and you were so ready to gush about it with Felix’s girlfriend on facetime as you both watched it together.
When Chan and Minho pulled up you had to practically push him out the door.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
That was about three hours ago now.
You hated the cliffhanger that the episode left on and you were not ready for the writers to bring back the female love interest from the second season but you digressed. The next episode would come out next week and you could not wait.
Currently, you danced in your spot in front of your bathroom mirror and sink as you scrubbed your face with the foam cleanser. Careful to not get any into your eyes as you moved the facial scrub around. You were in the middle of rinsing your face off when your music cut out and your phone began to ring.
“Fuck,” you let out, eyes closed tightly, the faucet still running.
You wiped your eye enough to be able to slightly open it and find your phone, blinking a few times. You bumped into your bottle of cleanser and something fell to the floor in process, too. Just as you swiped to answer, the residue on your face caught you off guard and you cried out in pain.
“Shit!” you hissed out as you closed your eye again. “Hello?”
“Y/N-ie?” a voice was heard on the other end of the call, the music, though muffled, was blasting in their background and now in your bathroom.
“Seungminnie?” you responded as you go to finish rinsing your face off and wash your eye out. Looking in the mirror, you looked down at the floor to see what you had dropped when scrambling for your phone. Face dripping in water and wetting your shirt as a result.
“You ok?” He asked, concern laced in his tone.
“Yeah,” sighing, you leaned down to grab the hand towel you had been looking for. “Yeah, I just got cleanser in my eye. What’s up? How’s guys night going?”
Staring at yourself in the mirror, you noticed your eye was now red and slightly irritated. You frown as you began to put everything away and took off your headband.
“It’s going good…”
“…But…?” you questioned, sensing a but was coming as you moved on from the bathroom and back into your bedroom. Picking up Jisung’s discarded clothes from earlier, you placed his jacket up on the hook that was next to yours.
“But Hannie hyung is really drunk and Minho hyung told me to call you to come pick him up.”
“Oh lord,” you gave a slight laugh as you placed the call on speakerphone. You grabbed your jacket and put it on over your pjs. “Alright, is his phone dead? I have his location if it’s not.”
“Uh…let me check.”
You could hear Seungmin walk to where you assumed your boyfriend was. They were probably outside; it would explain why the music was muffled when you first answered the call. Also so Ji could get some fresh air and away from any temptations to drink more.
In all the time you’ve known him, Han Jisung was never one to hold his alcohol well.
“Hyung, let me see your phone,” Seungmin could be heard in the distance now.
‘He must not have his phone by his face,’ you thought.
“No! I’m waiting,” you could hear the slurred words of your drunk boyfriend from even your end of the phone. You tried to fight the smile that wanted to make it’s way onto your face.
“Waiting for what?” Seungmin questioned, exasperation clear as day in his tone. Or in this case, night.
“Y/N-ie, I called her, see! She’s said she’s gonna come get m-e,” Was Han’s retort with a cute hiccup at the end.
You most certainly did not call him though. Furrowing your brows in confusion, you backed out of the call screen to check your call logs. Yet you had no missed calls on your end. Who did he call???
Looking down at your phone, you could hear Seungmin say, “Hyung, that’s the calculator app. You wrote 8008.”
With those words ringing in your ears, you snorted and the smile you were fighting broke through. Calling down the line to Seungmin, you yelled, “I’m on my way!” as you hung up and opened the kakao taxi app on your phone.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
As you arrived in the bar district, you asked the taxi driver to wait for you.
He must have taken pity on you in your pajamas because he surprisingly agreed to. The both of you getting out, him to take a smoke break and you to wrangle up your boyfriend.
It didn’t take long to find him and his friends since you immediately spotted Jeongin grinning wildly and waving for you.
“Noona! You made it!” The flush on his face from the alcohol was a dead giveaway to how much the youngest of the group drank. “You’re a little underdressed though.”
“I’m not here to stay. I’m picking up something to-go,” you said with an eye roll and a smile.
At that, the both of you turned to where your boyfriend stood with Seungmin and Felix. Jisung was concentrating really hard as he stared at the phone in his hand. A look of anguish slowly morphing over his features.
“Guys, I think the screen froze,” he pouted, his cheeks puffing out more so than usual. “My baby hasn’t moved once…”
Both Seungmin and Felix looked down at Han’s phone.
“Hyung, that’s your wallpaper,” Felix laughed out, equally as red as Jeongin.
Walking up to the trio, Han did a double take as he saw you approaching. Lovesick look replacing the agony on his face when he realized you were really there.
“Babe!” Immediately attaching himself to you, Han’s hand once again slipped beneath your clothes to touch at your lower back. He rested his chin on your shoulder as he relaxed in your grip, breathing you in.
“Hi, baby. Let’s get you home ok?” You said softly to him as you pat his back gently. His friends smiling at the cute display before them.
“Oh, mine or yours?”
“Ours.”
“Oh, wow!” He said in wonder as he pulled away to look at you with the stars in his eyes.

synopsis. It's a beautiful reception and you make Felix absolutely feel
Kpop Masterlist
Fandom Masterlist
Felix stared with a fond look as you mingled about the venue. His fingers absentmindedly playing with the flowers on his lapel.
It was as if you were like a magnet, the way everyone gravitated towards you. He was aware that everyone compared him to the sun but the way you just glowed as you sat laughing with his parents.
He could only shake his head at the comparison.
As he turned away from the scene, his eye caught someone he didn’t think he would see that night. Excited, he made his way through the crowd.
“Hyung!” Felix greeted excitedly.
Hyunjin jumped as Felix clapped him on the shoulders. The taller man sitting in the nicely decorated chair of the wedding venue they were in. Right next to the bride and groom’s table.
“Yongbok-ah!”
“Hey man, so great of you to come out,” the Australian said taking a seat next to his brother from another mother.
“What and miss the wedding of the year?”
The both of them laughed as they looked back at you. You were still with his parents only this time his niece had joined in on the fun it seemed. He could see her clearly giggle as she played with your veil.
“She looks good,” Hyunjin said to the freckled man. “Who knew our little Y/N-ie could clean up well?”
Felix did. Even when they were all little kids playing in Chan’s backyard, he always knew there was something special about Y/N.
“Yeah, she looks great,” he agreed softly.
They continued to watch you as his niece decided it was time to dance. You were pulled off to the side of the table by the excitable 8 year-old, the both of you now giggling as you followed along with the child. Exaggerating in the way your arms moved with each other. You’d always been good with kids he realized. You’d probably make a pretty decent mom when you were ready.
Before he lost himself in his thoughts of the future, a voice interrupted their conversation.
“Felix, this place looks amazing,” Seungmin said, looking sharp in his tux, drink in his hand. The two older men smiled softly at the younger one.
“Thanks man,” he said earning a fist bump. “Y/N-ie was so worried about the decorations not looking right for tonight.”
“Yeah I know, I tried to tell her not to worry about it. That everything was going to be fine,” Seungmin said with amusement in his tone and a look of wonder on his face as he gazed around the room again. The color theme was mauve, powder blue, and hints of yellow.
After he found out what color mauve was, Felix thought it was a nice combination. And he wasn’t saying that because blue was his favorite color.
“What are you guys talking shit about?” Your voice had broken through everything in Felix’s mind. No matter when or where, he’d know your dulcet tones anywhere. And right now they were clear even over the music bumping throughout the venue’s speakers.
It seemed your little dance party was over as you came up to them.
“Y/N-ie!” All three men greeted you, each one giving you a hug. You lingered on one longer than the others, Felix’s heart skipping a beat in the process.
“We were just talking about your decorations,” Hyunjin finally responded. Felix watched as your brows scrunched up in worry and he immediately rounded towards his hyung with wide eyes.
“What’s wrong with the decorations, Jinnie?” Your voiced changed pitch as you frantically looked around, trying to find anything out of the ordinary. Even moving your way to stand by Seungmin’s side to check things out.
“No, nothing’s wrong with the decorations,” Seungmin reassured you, handing his drink over. “Just saying how nice everything looked. You did an amazing job bub.”
Your relief was palpable to all three of them and you gently took a sip.
“I couldn’t have done it without Lix,” you admitted while grabbing for the blonde’s hand and gave it a comforting squeeze. His hand tingled where you touched him, it was a feeling he’d never wanted to get over. “He’s been a rockstar throughout this entire wedding planning process.”
“I just did whatever you told me to,” Felix laughed gently.
“Nothing’s changed since childhood then,” Hyunjin joked which caused Seungmin to cackle out immediately. Felix could only push Hyunjin in retaliation as you chuckled behind your hand.
“Fuck off mate!” Felix cried out; grin plastered on his face.
“I’m sorry for not being more helpful though,” Seungmin lamented to the small group once the laughter subsided. “I feel bad about not being there for you.”
“That’s ok Minmin, I understood why you couldn’t help out much. It was my fault for planning a wedding during peak tax season. Who knew springtime was so important for accountants…,” you joked with a shrug, not wanting him to feel as bad as he already did.
Felix observed how Seungmin’s face became red with sheepishness. He knew that feeling well whenever it came to you. He watched on as Seungmin gently bumped his shoulder against yours, the gentleness that came from the younger man was a rare sight to see but never far whenever you were concerned. It was something only you were able to bring out in all members of your friend group.
A throat clearing into a microphone brought everyone’s attention to the DJ booth. There Chan stood in all his best man glory.
“Good evening everyone,” Chan greeted into the mic. “It’s almost nine o’clock and if it’s one thing my sister drilled into me, it’s that I have to do my Best Man speech right now.”
The older Australian easily broke the ice with a teasing joke that had everyone laughing it up.
“Chris!” You yelled out in embarrassment, smile on your face still.
“Anyways,” he continued with a cheeky grin. “For those of you don’t me, which would be weird by this point, my name is Chan but other’s call me Chris. I am grateful to be up here tonight as best man to the groom and brother of the beautiful bride. And let me tell you, what an honor, really, to be speaking on behalf of the happy couple.
When they first came to tell me they were dating, I had to take time to process what I was hearing. One of my best friends? And my little sister? Together?? I thinking to myself ‘how could they do this to me?’ But then I took a step back and actually saw how they interacted together whenever they thought I wasn’t looking. Saw the way he treated my sister with as much love and respect as anyone else in our family did. And I realized…that it wasn’t ever about me at all. Anyone who has ever met them can just tell how well they are for one another. They honestly bring out the best in each other.”
Chan cleared his throat then, trying to not show how emotional this moment was for him.
“This one time when we were way younger, Hannah and Lucas were too young at the time to remember this heehee but, Y/N-ah came outside crying, and I mean absolutely sobbing, up to me and the guys. At the time I didn’t know but it turned out she was upset because one of her favorite characters’ in a book she was reading died. And before little Channie could even do anything for her, this gangly little kid was the first one to help her in her time of need. Got her to stop crying enough to tell us what was wrong. She’d always been the sensitive one out of all of us…”
“I just found out Thorin died. I was grieving, ok!” you laughed at your past self. You made quick eye contact with Felix and shook your head with a grin at the audacity of your brother.
Felix remembered that time, too.
The were all sat in the Bahng family garage waiting for an ice cream truck to roll on by when you came crying out of the house. No one really knew what to do for you when you could barely even get your words out. Felix, being the empathetic one, immediately began crying with you instead. Changbin and Seungmin immediately trying to get the both of you to stop.
“I think it was from there that our wonderful groom always kept an eye out for my little sister. Standing here tonight, I understand why,” Chan chuckled. “Anyways, I’m so excited for you both and I’m so glad we could celebrate this special day with friends and family who have traveled from around two countries just for this night. So I say this with a full heart, I love you Y/N and Seungmin, love you brother, welcome to the family!”
As the guests clapped for Chan’s beautiful speech, Felix felt a pang in his chest as you happily turned to Seungmin. The taller man taking your hand in his as he gently set your drink down. He placed a delicate kiss to your hand before leading you to the dance floor.
“Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in welcoming the newlyweds in their first dance as a married couple,” the DJ introduced.
As the beginning of a romantic song started to play, Felix felt his shoulders slump as he stared from the sidelines with a heavy heart. Could feel the force of his own smile as he watched the love of his life dance with someone who would never be him.
He still felt the tingle in his hand where you touched him earlier. Subtly, he brought that hand to his lips, placing a small kiss where your fingers connected. He allowed himself to feel the sadness well-up inside him with something he was too late to have. The sting in his nose and a lump in his throat something he had become well accustomed to whenever he was by himself with his thoughts of you.
It was with a deep and heavy breath that Lee Felix sat down and came to terms with his loss and the love that was just so profound.

Fall Cryptid List
You had a poltergeist problem.
Well, not really a poltergeist, it was a ghost. But you couldn’t very well say a spooky silly ghost problem because then you’d just look and sound ridiculous.
It started when you moved into a new apartment a at the beginning of the year. Rent was cheap and the housing market was the bane of your existence. It didn’t matter that someone was murdered there 10+ years ago in the heat of passion. Or that the previous owners felt like they were being watched. Which was weird because the unit was on the third floor.
And so what if you heard footsteps outside of your bedroom at like three in the morning? Who cares that all your cabinet doors were left open after you’d left for work more than once. And that chill in the air in the middle of the night? Let’s just say that the money you saved during the summer was enough to make you turn a blind eye to everything. Especially now that it was October and the autumn air was settling in.
But the one thing you’d never thought about? It never even came to mind as a possibility of happening.
A ghost getting fed up with your bullshit, so much so that he decided to APPEAR in front of you while you were crying on your couch because of your ex. And just to be clear, you were not crying because he dumped you (you dumped him). You were just so relieved that he was out of your life that the tears just wouldn’t stop coming after that.
“Are you seriously crying over that piece of shit?” An exasperated voice chastised you.
“W-what?” You hiccupped while looking up. Before you stood a transparent being. Sharp eyes that just screamed that they were judging you, and reasonably fashionable for a ghost.
“I’ve watched you day in and day out suffering at being tied down to that absolute shitshow of a guy. And now that you’ve finally gotten rid of him, I find you crying over him! Make it make sense.”
“I’m not crying over him!”
He gave you what could only be the ghost equivalent of a “Sure Jan” look.
“I’m not!”
“What are you crying for?”
The silence in the room was deafening until it wasn’t.
“OH MY-!”
“PLEASE! I SWEAR!!”
What was your life right now? Arguing with your resident ghost over you ex? A ghost that doesn’t even help you pay reeeeent to make matters worse!
“Why am I being attacked right now!?” you cried out pitifully.
“Y/N, you don’t need him in your life. Get a grip…”
“I know that! I don’t know how many times I keep telling you that I’m not crying over him.”
“Then…why are you crying?”
“I don’t…cause I’m relieved? I don’t know, I just know that it feels like a weight is off my shoulders now that he’s gone. I don’t have to walk on eggshells whenever he’s near anymore. I can finally breathe again.”
You could feel yourself relaxing into your couch now, now that this pressure was gone. You blinked and the ghost was gone from in front of you. Though from the noises coming from the kitchen behind you, you knew he didn’t go far.
From your peripheral, you could see him coming to you slowly.
‘What are you doing?” you asked with no intentions of turning to look.
“Shush, this takes a lot of concentration…”
Narrowing your eyes at his words, that did make you want to see what he was doing. “Wha…?”
“Shh…!”
“Now, hold on—”
“Wait!”
The comedic series of events was astounding. You finally decided to turn to you ghost man. Only for him to, you guess, loose concentration. And the ending result? The mug of water he was apparently bringing to you just fell out of his grip and landed all over you and the floor below you. Cue your ghost standing there like he was about to call his mom and tell her he just frew up.
Neither of you said anything as you stared down at the wet mess. At least it was water and not something hot you supposed.
“Damn Y/N, you’re so clumsy.”
You couldn’t say anything coherent, just squawked, flabbergasted at his audacity to try to put the blame on you. Then the laughing started. Laughing at the entire ordeal. Not just the water but actually meeting the ghost that haunted your apartment and not running for the hills immediately.
From the small smile on your ghost’s face, you guessed he was just trying to get you to do something other than cry your eyes out that night. Even if your clothes where caught in the crossfire.
“So, you know my name. What’s yours?” You sighed while standing to go grab something to clean up the mess.
“…Why should I tell you?”
“You literally just threw water at me. You owe me that much.”
His lips puckered knowing you had him there. After a few beats he said, “It’s Jeongin.”
“Jeongin?”
“…Yeah.”
You were too busy cleaning the floor to notice how misty eyed a ghost could get; but you were able to catch the change in his demeanor.
“What’s wrong?” You briefly glanced up at him from your crouched position as you mopped up the water with a used towel. He chewed on his bottom lip before answering.
“…It’s just been a long time since someone’s said my name out loud.”
You felt a pang in your heart at his words. Nodding, you went back to cleaning.
“Then I’ll be sure to call for you every day, Jeongin.”
“…Ok.”
And if it sounded like he was gonna cry, well you weren’t going to bring any attention to it.
