So I needed to devise a new prophecy so I decided to have Akemura try to kidnap Chiaki back (not just as a strategic maneuver but I think her reappearing in his life would be a shock for him). He finds out she's still around because her dreams are connected to Yura's dreams due to Yura's sorcery and Akemura is currently in Yura's body.

Anyway, I decided the disaster that would happen is an augmentation of one of Chihiro's new Enten spells, so I needed new!Enten to have counter spells to the Magatsumi, so I devised:

a spell that causes dehydration to eliminate the plants

a spell that causes acid rain to eliminate the insects

a state change spell that inverts states

In the prophecy, Chiaki sees Chihiro try to use spell 1 but an augmentation spell from another sorcery causes it to pull water up out of the ground and create a great flood. So to avoid this, Chihiro is goign to use spell 3 but that is going to turn non-sorcerers into sorcerers instead which will lead to the next prophecy about sorcerers rising up and joining with Yura

Anyway, the thing I have to think about is none of this. What i need to think about is two things:

How the confrontation with Akemura should play out. I think I need to rewrite it and then adjust various prophecies accordingly

What happens after the confrontation and who Chiaki should be talking to

The current confrontation ends in Chiaki's injury but I'm waffling on how that should play out and if it should go in that direction. I do, however, like the idea of watching Chihiro die in multiple prophecies makes her act without thinking to save him even though in this prophecy she hasn't foretold his death. But I'm also not completely sold on the scenario either so many thoughts

The second situation was originally Azami because he had to evacuate Chiaki from the hideout. Then I switched it to Iori because I do like the idea of Chiaki and Iori bonding a bit kind of like how Chihiro and Samura bonded a bit but in a different way. Then I thought that Chihiro might be the one watching over her, but I also kind of want him to stay away for a bit, but at the same time, I worry that I don't have enough Chiaki and Chihiro scenes. But that's also kind of nature of where they're at at this point in the story because Chiaki is trying to hide her identity from him so the reveal won't stress him out and he is also kind of like not admitting that he knows she's his mom yet because he doesn't really want to stress her out either and they're both kind of getting used to each other. But, since Chihiro knows (because his dad told him about his mom after all) then I can see why he might be there when she wakes up from the next prophecy, but he's also got bigger fish to fry because of the massive state change he just unleashed

I also need to figure out how the state change works an dhow I want the sorcery domain to work too. I'm thinking that the sword's spell range is set at a reasonable radius so multiple enemies could be affected by whatever spell and Chihiro wouldn't have to be on top of Akemura for the spells to be potentially effective. Then the augmentation increases that range ridiculously. But how does Chihiro not dehydrate his allies? Or maybe everyone just knows they have to dance their way out of his range. However, I don't want to state change everyone in the hideout.

Or maybe he creates torrents of acid rain and it still floods and Japanese agriculture is fucked. That's also an option. That might be the better option.

Prologue

God, I want to be honest here before I think I REALLY die here. I…I just wanted peace, I just wanted to live a normal life, forget the past and move on. Is that so bad?

While I know most of you would’ve said ‘No’ but the universe would make a big ASS sign that says ‘YES’, all capital. God, this stab from my stomach hurt so much, how do people in movies or shows enjoy going in battles, knowing they will lose an arm or an ENTIRE leg, maybe even their fucking hearts. I know I have a high pain tolerance but this? This shit hurts like hell and the bleeding isn’t stopping either.

And here I am, on the roof top on the fourth of July, leaning against my only support, my sword. Looking at my older sister, who’s well…not herself at the moment, also may I add a CREEPY ass wolf-looking creature behind her. God, I want to save her…I need to. Fuck, is this what main characters go through? Choosing to either kill their best friend to save the world or save the best friend but at the cost of the world.

I know they always say the choices we make in the past affect the future, but…the choices I made…how could this happen, how could this affect my sister? How could I not see it? I want to save her, I don’t want to kill her. She’s my sister…my best friend. I can’t, but all of the people keep saying I have to, that this is the only way to…to save the world. To stop her from destroying EVERYTHING that everyone loves and holds dearly. ???: “OKAMI!! OKAMI!! WE’RE COMING!!”

Shit…if they come, if they see me like this…they will DEFITENTLY kill her. I can’t…I won’t. But what can I do?

Okami looks at her sister, and sees the dark green eyes staring back at her. Her sister smiles with a cruel look. Okami coughs and spits blood onto the ground. Her sister laughs manically but…a tear comes out of her eyes.

Okami: “I…I can’t let them, I ca-I can’t-I won’t.”

I slowly stood up, I groaned in pain but quickly pushed it aside. I have my left hand over my wound, while holding my sword in my right hand, I slightly raise it, towards her. I shake my head softly, with care in my eyes, I hold back the tears threatening to fall.

Okami: “I love you, I can’t…I won’t leave you. I know you're in there. I know you're there, if…if mom was here, she wouldn’t want me to leave.”

???: “…You're making the wrong choice, hon.”

I grip my sword handle slightly, I stare at my sister, the voice sounds like her but it isn’t. I glare at her.

???: “OKAMI!! OKAMI!! OPEN THE DOOR!! LET US IN!!”

I hear them banging on the door hard as they try to kick the door down. I grip my wound.

Okami: “Bad choice or not. I don’t care, I am not leaving you. I left back then, I ain’t leaving you now.” She laughs loudly and manically. She looks at me and smiles more.

???: “You really are a fool, your weakness is caring too much about family and friends, now look what it got you.”

She scoffs as she clicks her tongue and signals the creature towards me.

???: “Kill her.”

The creature roared, but no one below us heard it as it was covered by the fireworks going off in the sky and the cheering happening on the streets. It charges at me, I grip the sword with both of my hands, ready to fight. The door banged open and…

damn, that really cool
