Hexwraiths.
Commission. Love these minis but some of them are hard to assemble, very tiny bits and points of connection.

Hexwraiths all ghosty like
Hexwraiths attack in Age of Sigmar’s Legions of Nagash supplement.
Hexwraiths done and ready to reap some souls. I'm sticking to the "washes over white primer" style of painting and it's good fun and really effective! (Metallics and whites are done with traditional colors) I'm looking forward to the next undead units I'll paint.,
So, I made more death models.

So continuing the Warhammer theme, we come to my Vampire Counts army.
These are the “Hexwraiths” made by “Games Workshop” (https://www.games-workshop.com/de-DE/Vampire-Counts-Hexwraiths-2017). The minis are very well made and have a strangely creepy/cartoonish look about them (a little like plague marines etc.).
I loved the idea of ghostly flames coming off their weapons and improved on the idea by modeling flames coming off the horses too. This was the first time I tried to model flames. I think that it turned out pretty decent, though I know that I still have a lot to learn about modeling and painting.
Also, obviously, I did not want to do the typical “green whisps = ghostly” cliché so instead I went with an red/rose/white theme.
Anyway took me about a week to build an paint them and I am pretty happy with the result. :-)
