Summary: After fighting amongst your fellow Asgardians to save your people, Loki awakens a deep desire within you and you reignite your centuries-old love affair with your battle-marred lover in the cabin of the Sakaarian ship.

AN: Inspired by the genuine experience of getting the horn watching Ragnarok!Loki fight on the Bifrost. And @lokisgoodgirl hearing Pavolv's squelch during the iconic lunge-and-plunge move.

The sight of him lingered in your mind like smoke in a bar. Smacking his foe with the horns of his helmet. The backflip into a lunge, plunging his dagger into the chest of a reanimated Einherjah. The squelch audible over the crowds fleeing the doomed planet onto the safe haven of a Sakaarian ship.

The look in his eyes as he flipped his horns over in one hand. The tilt of his head when he caught you staring at him, the sword in your hand held aloft, his heroics freezing you to the spot. The gasp you made when he threw out a green orb, hitting the undead guard behind you, the one whom you hadn’t seen. The wink he gave before turning and kicking another assailant in the chest.

“Do try to make it a little less obvious, my darling.” He placed a playful hand on your shoulder, his voice causing you to shiver. You had been watching him from across the Sakaarian ship, tending to those in need, ensuring they were safe. Your mind had wandered. He knew this.

You cleared your throat, turning to face him. “Pr-prince Loki, perhaps I can show you to your chambers…?”

He chuckled, his eyebrows knitted together as he examined you through hooded eyes. “How long have we known one another? Are we not past the pleasantries?”

Him sprinting out the room, leaving Thor behind as he calls after him, and desperate to reach the common room where the Asgardians were. Just Loki in a frenzy, bursting in—scaring everyone— and shouting like crazy that they had to move, pack up, get your children, ready the escape pods we have to GO—

Even if he knows it’s already too late.

Imagine the hysteria. Imagine Loki and Heimdall rounding everyone up, Thor and Valkyrie working the controls and opening up gates to several pods, but they’re not enough, of course they aren’t, the never are—

The ship shakes as the Mothership blasts through their covert side. There’s a hole in the ship; there’s alarms blaring. Screaming, shouting, fear building up higher and higher and Loki can’t breathe.

Imagine Thanos’s henchmen walk through onto the common room, an air of death and bloodlust in the air, and the first thing Loki does is jump in front and start attacking— no hesitation; magic blasts, telekinesis, daggers, explosions, all of it— with Thor right behind him.

I was in this apartment with a bunch of people I can’t remember, except for my mother and father, right? The room was dark and this mysterious and scary shit was happening so we were investigating.

But then from this other dark room came this really scary demon, and it charged at me. It scratched my face like three times and when I was dreaming it I could actually feel the pain of it lmao (it was a burning sensation). Then we all ran away from the room. Everyone in the apartment building freaked out.

I was scared and I tried to run away. Me and a couple of people got into this elevator and tried to close it but the door won’t close. The demon was charging at everyone and we freaked but of course out of no where, in came Loki.

This Loki was our MCU Tom Hiddleston Loki, but instead he was wearing this outfit:

And he took my hand and lead me away to safety. I was like what the fuck is going on, where the fuck did Loki come from. But did I care? Motherfucker sometimes hugged me to him when the demon was close!

Of course, he disappeared later on after saving me, and the dream continued on until it ended hehe.

But after that dream, I can’t help but think, hey, if they are going to give Loki a costume upgrade in the series/MCU, or even introduce another variant of him, the costume above would be so cool. 

He nods as a swill of gin passes your lips.

Looking sideways as the glass is slowly replaced on the glazed counter, a shudder racks the dim bar. You draw a simple Enochian symbol with the dew of the glass. The air glistens and movements seem to slow for several minutes. 

A quick rush of air.

Loki jets out the door as people look around with confused expressions.

A casual swipe across the wet symbol while giving the bartender a smile as he tries to shake his head of the confusion, you leave the bar after your husband. Screams are coming from the street beyond, but your spell slowed the catastrophe enough to give bystanders a chance to run.

Coming to a halt beside Loki in the street, his gaze leads you (...metal..) to the blue sky. Falling rubble (..oh...oh no..) cascades in elephant-sized chunks. Sparks fly (....the space stations..) as it all hits the atmosphere.

Loki has a determined scowl, daggers glowing in his hands. Still staring skyward, he asks, “What is this, darling? And how did you know?”

“He does not want anyone to leave,” you state simply.

Loki pulls eyes from the sky to look at you, eyebrow raised.

“He never wants anyone to leave,” you continue, more to yourself, as you get ready to leap towards the falling debris, hoping to destroy it before there is further destruction.

A gentle grip on your arm makes you pause.

“Be careful,” he says softly. He kisses your hand and then you are throwing yourself into the air, golden wings in a mirage at your back.

AN: This was extremely fun to write. I have always been intimidated by writing action/hero-esque stories, but this just vomited itself onto the screen.  Enjoy! :)

1) in the first Thor movie he LITERALLY said he never wanted the throne he only wanted to be Thor’s equal... and to be honest I would too.

2) also in the first Thor movie his ENTIRE LIFE was turned upside down in a matter of HOURS, first Thor was given the throne when he was a more suitable for the throne, as Thor is a warrior not a king, he told his “father” as much during Thor TDW and Loki is a scholar, he knew how to rule and keep the peace.

3) He’s probably worthy, yes I know, I know, in the first Thor movie he couldn’t wield Mjolnir but ODIN was the one who spelled it, so it comes down to Loki has never been worthy in Odins eye because his heritage

4) he was brought up in a place that HATES frost giants, so (in my opinion) Loki’s behavior is okay(?)

5) every time he’s “faked” his death (excluding the first movie) it was to save Thor

6) when he let go and dropped off the bifrost he was found by Thanos and (from my POV) tortured Loki, and brainwashed him to some extent (exhibit a) Loki’s eyes were green in the first movie, blue in Avengers (2012) and green in Thor TDW (exhibit b) when he fought Thor (the “second” time in Stark Tower) Thor asked Loki to stop and come home with him (again) and Loki hesitated like, and then a single tear slipped as he stabbed Thor (exhibit c) again when Loki and Thor fought in the Stark Tower He said it was to late to stop ‘them’ not ‘us’ he set himself apart from Thanos (exhibit d) when Loki was locked up in the Hulk cage he was away from the scepter and he acted more like himself, and not like the angry and agsty teen when he was around it (and finally exhibit e) when the Avengers were fighting in the lab on the helicarrier (with the scepter on the table) all the anger and stuff seemed to double, also Bruce literally grabbed the scepter without noticing

7) in Thor: Ragnarok he 1 saves all the Asgardians when he really didn’t have to and 2 he started Ragarok which destroyed his “only hope” at becoming the king of Asgard (yes I know he took the Tessaract but this is Loki we’re talking about here)

8) in IW this happened “Almighty Thanos... I, Loki, prince of Asgard... Odinson... the rightful king of the Jotunheim... god of mischief... do hereby pledge to you... my undying fidelity.” A few scenes before this he stop Thanos from torturing Thor and says the infamous sentence “the sun will shine on us again”

9) he again sacrificed himself for Thor to live, and he tells Thanos “you will never be a god” as Thanos strangles him, weird last words if you ask me

10) this is a more of “I’m pretty sure he’s not dead because” in the first Thor movie he LITERALLY FELL OFF THE BIFROST, in the Avengers (2012) he WAS TOSSED AROUND LIKE A RAG DOG BY THE FREKING HULK!!! In Thor TDW he was STABED THROUGH THE CHEST, and your telling me that Thanos strangeled/broke his neck? Also something to note through IW Thor floated around in space for who knows how long, was burnt to a crispy chicken nugget BY A FRECKING STAR, and went one on one with Thanos so your telling me he was killed WITHOUT REVERTING TO HIS FROST GIANT FORM, like honestly how stupid do you believe be to be? Yea I know that Thanos said “no resurrection this time” but really? How do we know he’s dead at all, he’s a master magicians I bet he can make you hear something you didn’t
