But there are good comics! They have been published by Epic Comics, which is like a more adult version of Marvel. They get Pinhead's character great and add more interesting Cenobites to the story, like Anderson who can shoot bullets from his body and looks like Cenobite Rambo (he's my favorite from the comics because he's so funny). Not all of those comics center around Pinhead and our familiar crew, but they are a lot of fun.

Seraphim inc. also published a pretty neat Hellraiser themed comic which has a lot of one shot stories and one longer plot. The long plot comic is awesome, I won't spoil you anything, because it's super fun.

There is also Pinhead vs Marshall Law - Law in Hell comic, which has just two chapters, but it also has incredibly unique art style and a very interesting look at Elliott Spencer's backstory and how he became Pinhead.

The various configurations of one of the more recent puzzle boxes, it features six distinct, shifting configurations, each tied to a specific gift offered by the Cenobites to those who provide human sacrifices. The box demands five sacrifices to reach it's final form. Each configuration change requiring a new victim, marked by a blade from the box.

The Lament Configuration is the Hellraiser puzzle box's original cubic state. Lament signifies "life," and choosing this configuration appears to be the only way to escape from the Cenobites' clutches with one's sanity mainly intact.

The Lore configuration is a twelve-sided geometric shape (a dodecagon/dodecahedron variant) associated with the 'Curse of Knowledge'. This includes horrific awareness of the strange cosmology of existence and of Hell itself. Once this knowledge has been learned it cannot be "unlearned", causing a unique form of gruesome insanity.

The Laudarant Configuration is a star-like form composed of dual, merged pyramids, associated with the "gift" of love, often resulting in perverse, unwanted outcomes.

The Liminal Configuration is a thin, long, eight-sided prism with star-shaped bases, dedicated to hedonistic sensation. It takes the form of two intersecting shapes, releasing a claw-like device that impales the sacrificer with a metallic contraption that "stimulates the senses".

The Lazarus Configuration resembles a sloping rectangular prism, an altered, elongated box, aimed at resurrection, bringing someone back to life, though often as a "skinless" entity.

The Leviathan Configuration is a diamond, rhombus-shaped, eight-sided structure representing the apex form, used to summon the deity itself for the sacrificer to receive a final reward of power...
