Cooper wanting Lucy to come with him fascinates me. The vials scene was when he realized Lucy is not who he thought she was but her almost shooting Hank solidified it. He may have realized that she'd just found out the truth. Cooper's not stupid. She's clearly distraught. They're similar. Their stories parallel each other which of course has been pointed out many times before but maybe deep down, Cooper realized that too. They had the same head-spinning whirlwind moment of horror and shocking betrayal from a loved one. He sees a kindred spirit in her. I think for the first time in two hundred plus years, he felt empathy which is kinda funny tbh. Also, he trusts her now. Tenuously but still. The first person he's trusted in two hundred plus years. Crazy.
