Witch - one who manipulates their aspect or manipulates with their aspect.
Doom - control over death and destructive energy.
The Witch of Doom is one who manipulates Doom, or manipulates with Doom.
The opposite of a Witch of Doom is a Seer of Life.
Witches are usually surrounded by their aspect, and for a Witch of Doom, this really isn't a good thing. They're surrounded by death in all its forms. If the Witch of Doom is a positive person at all, I applaud them and recommend them to seek therapy.
But I digress. The Witch of Doom is all about complete control over death. This does get a little awkward because it means they control who dies, not who lives. They could do everything in their power to prevent a death, but the Witch of Doom is well aware of inevitability.
They are probably the most fatalistic of Doom players, since they know how death works. They have probably had several kinds of death wrack their life, and they might even be alone because of this.
They can also control the dead, which does leave some interesting room for things like necromancy. They seem like the kind of person to get so desparate to keep someone they love around that they would try and revive their corpse.
But, along with death, they also control destruction. While it is not like a Prince or Maid who destroy with pure destruction, a Witch of Doom has control over the fine details.
They could destroy something by taking it apart bit by bit. They could destroy something by crushing it beyond recognition. The opportunities are endless.
They are self destructive at heart. All of the Doom and destruction that surrounds them, likely since childhood, fucked them up badly, enough to the point where they stop seeing the "point of things".
And this is what they need to work on: seeing that not everything has to have a point. A Witch of Doom needs to realize that although everything is temporal, it's making the most of it what matters. Yes, things are temporary, but that doesn't mean you should just wait for it to end. Jump in while it's there.
