#heavenly hell

There will be three main categories to ensure maximum enjoyment from our contributors and consumers. Contributors will be allowed to select their tier and only have access to the tiers they would like. (Any contributor may have access to all three, or only one or two. Whatever they are comfortable with.)

The Upper Circles: SFW angst. No smut, no graphic physical harm, but emotional and psychological angst are allowed.

The Central Rings: No explicit smut, though mentions are allowed (think M rating on Ao3), some graphic physical harm and heavier topics allowed.

The Depths of Hell: This is where explicit content and topics that would require a Major Archive Warning will be allowed, depending on mod approval of proposal.

While there will be some leeway with topics, along with tagging, there are certain things that will not be allowed.

No snuff, scat, incest, underage content. This list is NOT to be considered complete and individual proposals may still be declined even if they do not include the items on this list. (A decline in a proposal during production simply means you try to come up with something else. It does not necessarily mean a decline in working on the project.)

Certain sensitive topics might be allowed depending upon how they work into the plot. That being said, extreme or excessive homophobia, transphobia, racism, or hate speech will not be permitted. (You will need to be able to get your point across without gratuitous slurs.) Your plot may potentially be approved to use certain elements sparingly to move the story forward, but we will not be allowing these elements to BE the plot.

Fiction is not the same as reality.

These elements (homophobia, transphobia, racism, and hate speech) will NOT be tolerated towards real people whatsoever, inside or outside of the server, and will result in removal from the project.

All efforts and gender presentations are welcome.

All dynamics are welcome.

All character ships are welcome, providing they do not go against the previously mentioned requirements.

Canon characterization is preferred, but AUs will be permitted.

The zine itself is digital, with a Direct Donation to one of a list of charity options that will be determined by the contributors, however, in the event that we do create physical merch, we will take payments for the merch packs to cover production costs and donate the remainder to at least one of the charities on the list. (The amount raised above the costs will determine how the funds are spread between them.)

Tentative schedule: (Subject to change, but all changes will be announced.)

Applications: January 8th through 23rd, though may close sooner depending on turnout. Result emails by Feb 1st, and an announcement to be made after. Creation period begins the day after results go out. Check in and proposal dates TBD Work due by May 22nd Preorders open May 31st (Distribution dates TBD dependent upon merch possibility)
