I'm not entirely sure if the irl September stage event is going to reveal any information to us about RSA or new main story content, since the previous stage event didn't. (It hyped up and previewed for Lost in the Book with Baymax.) However, seeing a non-Scarabia, non-Octavinelle character (Ace) hosting gives me a little hope. But... at the same time, Ace and Jamil both have birthdays in September, so I wonder if the host choice is because of that and not anything having to do with RSA or the main story.

The next game for the interscholastic competition is confirmed to be magift/spelldrive. Additionally, with there being four games total, I was anticipating 2 new RSA boys introduced per game, except for the final game (Seeker's Gathering), which would feature the Good Fairy character, as he would have a connection with Sleeping Beauty and therefore potentially Diasomnia. So... for magift/spelldrive, I was anticipating the twisted!Nala guy to be relevant, since there's no way Leona wouldn't be playing HIS own sport.

I would not expect twisted!Alice to be playing in the second game with twised!Nala, but I guess the choice really comes down to twisted!Alice, twisted!Meg, and Neige?? And none of them feel particularly athletic or even agile to me. I actually think twisted!Alice would be better suited for the third game, Mystic Malter, since that involves gathering ingredients and I've always associated Alice with curiously wandering and picking up + tasting random things along her journey. I could be completely wrong, though!!

Where is it listed as "Twisted Wonderland episode Heartslabyul"? On the official kyomaf website, the Twst stage event is listed as "Disney Twisted Wonderland Special Stage". I have included a screencap from the JP version of the site, as well as from the EN version of the site, which can be toggled in the upper righthand corner.

Being that all the other events at this event seem to be focused on anime or anime adaptations of manga, it's possible that the Twst event is also anime-focused. However, I do not think it will be, as the host choice (Ace and Jamil) is EXTREMELY odd if the Twst event is supposedly for the anime adaptation. Would you not want to feature Savanaclaw VAs, since that's the upcoming season? And the timing just feels like too soon to drop any major updates, being that it hasn't even been a full year since the Heartslabyul anime dropped. The name of the stage event and the graphic being a match for the game, rather than an anime visual or mentioning the anime adaptation, is also a dead giveaway.

I know we keep on joking about fudge Megan and her high femme gf Lara but how about fudge girlfriend Lara and high femme girlfriend Sophia.

Plus, the fucking Marz handhold, when they get out of the car or whatever, where Lara gives off the most gf energy ever. And never sitting with crossed legs. Or rarely. I can't!

Also 'Yes' I do believe they'd sext and I was thinking about them calling each other than it kind of devolved from there. I think the physical connection they share is very important to them because right now I defines them being more than just friends. And just in general, they are very touchy and they can't do all that when one of them is in Europe.

Also I had a part where Megan mused about how she wanted to go with her but she knew then that Manon was in Paris and she knew that Lara needed closure and also Lara was way ahead on where her heart stood with Megan, Megan just kind of tumbling along so she needed the time to herself.

Also I know I had Megan say: she isn't a puppy. But she is and she would have followed Lara anywhere.

P.S. it was easier to give a voice to Megan's struggle because we are closer to each other personality wise. And I do think that Lara would be the first 'to come out' about her feelings having grown into more. But both would be scared to share because of what it would mean. Especially Lara after what her 'crossing the line' with Manon had turned into.

They might be best friends who make out but that doesn't mean she has to follow Lara everywhere, she's not a puppy. But she does miss all of them (and she doesn't deny that Lara and Yoonchae leave a slightly bigger hole in her heart when they're gone) and seeing their posts on Instagram, having a good time, doesn't help. She posts some selfies to make herself feel better.

She's restless and she doesn't want to acknowledge it but since it's the most obscure bullshit in the history of K-pop adjacent history she also knows that Manon is in Europe. And while non of them have any contact withe her, that she knows of because who the fuck knows what Sophia's slightly pained expressions means whenever Manon comes up, she has seen that Lara and her have been in Paris at the same time.

And Lara, who has been thinking about Manon in the beginning, but mentions her less and less the longer they taxi down this weird runway of are we, aren't we together has started to veer more into relationship than pure friendship territory. The touches have a new quality that is infinitely more intimate and the friend dates feel more and more like dates.

And Megan let it happen. Because Yoonchae is out of reach and Lara is right there but they are still only best friends who fuck because no one ever talks about shit and everything is unclear and they might not be in this situation if everybody would just talk to each other in the first place (because Manon is her friend too and the fact no one can talk with each other is making her go crazy and it's been her birthday and the message she sent her has been left on read hurt so much more than Megan is willing to admit).

So she tries not to think too hard about Manon and Lara being in the same place. But it makes her skin crawl with the itch to ask Lara. She types it out several times: Have you met Manon?, How's Manon?, Had any hook ups lately with our lost 6th member who we pretend needs rest but is obviously living her best life while all of us and you specifically try to deal with the Manon shaped gap in their life's?

She knows it's not fair thinking like that and Manon has every right to do this and Megan shouldn't be jealous, Lara and her are best friends but still. She can't help the bitterness on her tongue. So when her and Lara text later that day (or Lara's morning she guesses), she still asks if she's seen her and it's a simple yes and nothing else she ignores the way her ribcage feels too small and her breaths are too short. She also doesn't ask further because after all, no one talks about anything so why should she be any different. At least she didn't lie. And this isn't fair either because Lara isn't one to do that.

So she keeps on feeling restless and looking forward to everyones pics in the group chat and on Instagram (also the less friendly pictures she gets from Lara in their private chat). She boots up Valorant now and then but it doesn't help. Because despite Lara texting her everyday, telling her that she wishes she was there with her and the pictures that should not ever be sent via phone (because didn't they listen when their team told them that phones can easily get hacked? She deletes them immediately after looking at them and hopes Lara does the same on her phone) she can't stop thinking about them meeting and what they might have done.

So when Lara posts a photo dumb of herself in Italy she does what any mature 20 year old should do and lays a claim on Lara that Manon can't follow right now. And she knows it's petty and stupid and Manon doesn't deserve this, neither of them deserve any of this, and Manon is her friend even though it doesn't feel like it right now, but she still comments. Still writes how pretty Lara is. Because she can do that. She can show her infatuation and their care and she knows Manon can't. And Manon might have had Lara's heart but right now, Megan can have Lara and not have to hold it back.

But again, Manon and Lara being in Europe. I have feelings about that.

New bestest friend series plot point: Marz meets up in Europe. Megan has this feeling of jealousy she never had before (listen, Megara are just friends who hook up, no need to be jealous Megan, right?RIGHT?? You knew Marz was a thing, you two were just coping with each other)

I haven't said anything to your Meifiz fic but it was so good. I was laughing so hard about so much of it. Also Megan being turned on by herself is so funny. It low-key made me like that ship a lot. I think the adoration they have for each other is very very sweet.

Megara is still my favourite tho. They seem so cool and comfortable and laid back with each other. They are a joy to watch and just play so naturally off each other.
