I drew this after seeing an article from an old gaming magazine about Sam and Max Hit the Road. In the description of Max, it claimed that he hatched from an egg! It sounds plausible considering how strange of a creature Max is, but I take it with a grain of salt since it was only mentioned one time in one article back in 1993.
It could’ve just been something Sam told Max when Max asks Sam where he came from for all we know.
