You're stronger than you'll ever know, Jeremy. I'm proud of you. I've always been proud of you. Son.
I knew they had matching cosmetics but I didn’t realize the render was shown with both of them on the wiki im so emotional right now
Yknow, aside from the fact that the mercs can see through their team's Spy's disguises, there's no way that Scout genuinely believed that Tom Jones is his dad because Tom Jones was only a few years older than Scout...like, Tom Jones was born in 1940 and would have been around 30 during the events of TF2, and we know that Scout was 27 years old at the time of his "death" in comic 6.
Yeah no, Scout saw through the disguise. He knew. He knew it was Spy being a weenie ass LMAO or even if he didn't realize it at the time, he certainly realized it afterwards (and/or when he learned the real Tom Jones was dead at that point, but tbh I think realizing your "dad" is barely older than you would be the biggest tip-off)
Spy pays attention to the Mercs more than what he'd care to admit.
He pushes people off by shutting down their plans whilst giving unsubtle nods towards his "high standards" ("Mon Dieu- augh, no. I will not waste my day off by getting wasted instead at that glorified pigsty you dare call 'fine dining'! I have a fine bottle of green Chartreuse that needs tending to. Goodbye."). However, on the rare occasion he doesn't want to be a total asshole, he's rather considerate.
Well, considerate in his OWN way.

I still will never understand the whole facade idea/ putting up a front when it comes to Scout’s character neither the ‘insecure and constantly needing to prove himself as a tough guy’ , toxic masculinity, as core personality traits because the only ones we’ve seen doing that is Spy.
Remember, Scout was the one to say that Spy was better than him when it came to dealing with smarter, classier women. And SPY is the one who went out of his way to shove a microphone in front of his face to announce it to the entire team.
Now tell me who’s the boastful one who feels the need to prove himself all the time?
Who is the one who feels he needs to maintain a facade or certain reputation?
Who is the one literally wearing a mask?
Who is the one who we still do not know the name of?
Who hides behind his stoicism?
Just a reminder that Jay Pinkerton confirmed that Tanya is Spy's granddaughter, which, alongside all the other evidence confirming and/or implying it, proves that Spy is indeed Scout's father.
The Christmas scene with Spy giving his mask to his grand -daughter was another scene that's basically been done for seven years (...) Heather had already drawn that great panel with the little girl shrieking with delight with Spy's mask on her head, before we even shipped #6.
Even before Comic 6 released, this was planned.
THEY LOOK SO ALIIIIIIIIKE ToT
