Adam, you were an absolute bastard. Don’t think you’re getting off the hook while everyone else in the fandom is taking sides about Eve. You didn’t have neither me or Gretel's best interests at heart. You were perfectly fine with hurting us. Say sorry all you want. I know you didn't have any problems with abandoning us in the forest. Here's something I’ve been thinking on recently:
I don’t hate Eve anymore. I mean, yes, she was the person who led to the death of my mother, but she wasn’t in her right mind. And she really did her best to raise me and my sister, to make up for it. At least, as far as I could tell, she really had a good heart. She just went through a lot and deserved better because of it.
And my increased tolerance towards Eve has in turn made me hate Adam more. To call him my foster father would be an insult. I won’t get into specifics, but I don’t think he even wanted to try. We just turned up one day with our mother dead. He didn’t ask for it. And he just saw me as stupid anyway.
But sorry for holding so much resentment towards you, Eve. You didn’t deserve that.
