Ape hangers originated as a response to a real risk on the road and ended up becoming one of the strongest symbols of biker culture. From defensive improvisation to aesthetic landmark, they show how the history of motorcycling has always mixed necessity, rebellion, and identity. Today, they continue to be the choice of those who want presence, personality, and narrative on their motorcycle.

barty stabbing a knife into the mattress and making sirius ride the handle
i know it’s been said to death already but like. the way we literally see how giving visi a pep talk and encouraging her causes her to be successful which in turn makes her more confident in her place in the program and then in the same episode we have to turn around and cut someone from the team because they’re not acting as cohesively as they’re expected to?? WITH the added knowledge that blazer wouldn’t’ve let robert cut visi anyway, and the dialogue that you get if you cut coupé about how she still seems evil, and then replacing the cut villain with a hero (even if they are sort of in a probationary stage)…it just comes off like blazer (and robert, depending on your dialogue choices) just wanted to cut someone because they were dealing with one villain too many for their taste and didn’t want to put in the effort with someone who wasn’t their favorite. plus, even if you do disagree with blazer in your dialogue choices, it doesn’t change the fact that you have to cut someone, so it ends up creating this weird mixed message about restorative justice and redemption that feels really out of place with the main plot that’s all about seeing robert rebuild himself and struggle with his own self worth and conscience
