Sometimes my mind just wanders to the fact that we’ve been given a completely ridiculous and utterly hilarious piece of Twilight lore By Stephenie Meyer.
Apparently Carlisle was kind of just floating around in the ocean because it’s his happy place and he was pondering whether or not he should turn someone to have a mate- and then the freaking Titanic hits him.

He speaks to you like you're royalty: "My love, my everything. There is no world for me without you in it."
He’s constantly touching you—lightly brushing your hair, holding your hand as if it's precious, kissing your knuckles like a prince.
Bella Cullen – The Soft-Hearted
Bella's love is quiet, all-consuming, and powerful in its simplicity. She treats you like you’re something fragile and sacred, and she will move mountains to protect you.
She adores cuddling with you for hours, just stroking your back or tracing lazy circles on your skin with her fingertips.
She creates little rituals—reading your favorite book to you at night, writing you sweet notes and tucking them in your jacket pocket, leaving you playlists full of meaningful songs.
Bella would rather die (again) than let you feel unloved, so she goes out of her way to check in on your feelings—“Tell me everything. I want to know what made you smile today.”
She’s always watching you like she can’t believe you’re hers, with this soft, grateful awe.
When you’re sick or sad, she practically wraps herself around you like a warm, unshakable blanket. Protective. Fiercely devoted. Utterly in love.
She’ll do the things you love even if she’s never done them before—baking, crafts, etc—because if it brings you joy, she wants to be part of it.
Alice Cullen – The Fairy Tale Lover
Alice gives you the full fairy tale fantasy. She treats you like a goddess made of silk and starlight, and she adores making your world as beautiful as you are to her.

She lays out entire outfits for you every morning, tailored to your mood, style, and even the weather. “Today feels like lavender. Trust me.”
Shopping trips with Alice are like royal galas—champagne, designer boutiques, and her whispering sweet compliments in your ear: “They’ll faint when they see you in this.”
She insists on skincare nights, couples’ spa treatments, and dancing barefoot in the living room while soft jazz plays.
You’re her obsession—in the sweetest way. She knows your favorite flower, your comfort drink, your “just-because” gift list.
She’s always touching you—holding your waist, kissing your temple, curling up with you and saying, “You’re the center of my world. Let me make it beautiful for you.”
Jasper Hale – The Gentle Southern King
Jasper’s love is warm like honey and steady like the tide. He makes you feel secure, adored, and cradled in the softest version of romance.
He’s intuitive and tuned into your every emotion, adjusting the energy in the room with a mere thought. With Jasper, anxiety vanishes—you only feel peace and love.
He calls you “darlin’” and “sugar” in that drawling southern accent, voice low and soft when you’re alone.
He brushes your hair while reading out loud to you. He remembers everything—how you like your coffee, the exact temperature you like your bath, the song that makes you tear up.
Dates with Jasper are slow dancing in the kitchen, road trips with soft country music and shared secrets, or horseback rides.
He will kiss your hand like a soldier returning from war, as though he’s in awe that he gets to love you and be loved by you.
When you're upset, he scoops you into his lap and just holds you until you melt. No judgment, only calm, loving energy and whispered affirmations.
Rosalie Hale – The Fierce Lover
Rosalie spoils you without apology. She sees you as a rare, exquisite thing—worthy of every luxury, every compliment, every bit of protection she can offer.
She gives you lavish gifts: silk gowns, diamond jewelry, designer heels—but only because you make them glow.
When you walk into a room, Rosalie’s gaze locks onto you like a magnet. Her eyes drink you in, as if you’re the only thing that exists.
She draws you warm baths, washes your hair, massages your shoulders, and says things like, “Only the best touches you. That includes me.”
She’s terrifying to others in love’s name. If anyone disrespects you, even with a look, she’ll be there, jaw clenched, eyes blazing. “Touch her again. I dare you.”
With you, though, she's tender. She curls up next to you in silken sheets, whispering secrets and stroking your cheek like porcelain.
She makes you feel unshakably powerful and irresistibly adored—you’re the only one who sees her softer, worshipful side.
Emmett Cullen – The Golden Retriever Boyfriend
Emmett gives you fun-loving, wholehearted, over-the-top adoration. He’s your knight, your jester, and your biggest fan—all rolled into one.
He calls you “princess,” “babygirl,” or “my queen” with genuine pride and no irony. He means it.
Carries you everywhere—upstairs, downstairs, across puddles, into his arms just because he missed you for ten seconds.
He spoils you with giant teddy bears, heart-shaped boxes of candy, cheesy but heartfelt love notes, and a mountain of gifts just because.
Will wrestle a bear and come back grinning like, “That bear thought he could keep me from getting you more wildflowers.”
Loves cuddling you like a giant, super-strong, indestructible body pillow. He picks you up and spins you just to hear you laugh.
Emmett would literally fight gods to make you smile. And when you’re sad, he’s heartbreakingly gentle: “C’mere, baby. Let me make it better. Say the word, and I’ll do anything.”
Esme Cullen – The Nurturing Lover
Esme is the embodiment of unconditional, selfless love. She treats you like you're her heart walking outside her body.
She spoils you by creating a world of safety and affection. Home-cooked meals (even if she doesn’t eat), cozy rooms with fairy lights, handwritten notes of encouragement.
She surprises you with personal touches—your favorite tea waiting, your favorite artist playing softly, blankets warmed in the dryer before you arrive.
Esme constantly kisses your forehead, strokes your cheek, and murmurs things like, “I don’t know what I did to deserve you, but I’ll spend forever showing you how much I love you.”
She makes everything feel like a warm daydream. You feel seen, treasured, and protected.
Esme will build a life with you—literally. She offers to design your dream home, your dream life, everything you want.
Carlisle Cullen – The Gentle Protector
Carlisle treats you with reverent love—like you are the most precious thing he’s ever known in his long, long existence.
He constantly checks on your needs with quiet, thoughtful touches—your pulse, your comfort, your happiness.
He brings you rare books and old maps from centuries ago, laying them out like gifts of history to show how long he’s waited to meet you.
His voice is like velvet when he speaks to you: “You have my heart, my devotion, and every moment of my eternity, if you’ll have it.”
He kisses your hand, your temple, your shoulder, your neck, your wrist, always with deep affection and almost reverence.
He makes time slow down when you're with him. A single glance from him feels like a vow.
You’re his safe place. His sanctuary. And he’s yours.
Okay so hear me out. College age reader x Carlisle. HEAR ME OUT it's as fluffy or smutty as you want, but I'm a sucker for a slowburn. Period sex perhaps? Very vampiric. ABYWAY! This is so scattered I'm so sorry💀💀 have the best day!!
A/n: A request I very much like, I did mostly fluff and a fade to black for the smut (I'm so bad at writing smut now!!)
ALSO I'm so sorry, this has been in my drafts for a year now!
You should have known that going to Alice about your dream of going into the medical field as a career choice was a bad idea.
Of course, the small, joyful girl was one of your closest friends and you love her as much as any other of your friends. However, her habit of meddling so that a vision of hers can become fulfilled - especially when it came to her closest friends and her family - it had proved difficult to have such possible ideas come to light without her wanting to get you to that stage of your life as she had foreseen.
It was fun, but only sometimes. She's been incredibly helpful, there was no doubt about it, there would never be any doubt about it. In fact, her 'meddling' would often be so subtle even you couldn't notice it without the help of Edward's mindreading ability, which would forever uncover Alice's true intentions of said meddling.
“Come on!” Alice had pushed further as you were hanging out with her one average gloomy day in Forks. “Carlisle is a doctor, he could help.”
“Really, Alice.” You had laughed out as you walked through the streets, it was never crowded, only ever a handful of people ever spotted. “I’m not going to bother Dr. Cullen about this, he’s got better things to be doing.”
She gave you a small look, one that you could never decipher as her being genuinely annoyed at you or trying to be a playful annoyed. Oh, how you wish Jasper were here to reel in Alice’s excitement and involvement just a tad - maybe even remind her that she shouldn't meddle as much as she intends to.
“He won’t mind it, Y/n.” Alice insisted, looking you dead in the eye with her golden eyes, soon to turn a black you could tell by the different shade of gold they were that day.
"I'm sure he won't, Alice." You said with a quiet sigh, rubbing your eyes. Perhaps you had stayed up a little too late the night before, but you couldn't help yourself but stay up late. "But I would mind, I would feel like I'm distracting him from literally anything else he has to do. I'm not going to crawl to him and beg for his help."
Alice had only let out her harmonic giggles at your wording. "You aren't crawling, or begging, silly."
"It feels like it." You grumbled out, looking down at your feet as the two of you walked side by side.
"It's fine." Alice reassured as she moved her hand to your shoulder, smiling at you with that sweet smile of hers. "Let me ask him for you, please?"
You sighed quietly, looking at her as you debated whether or not you would want Alice to ask Carlisle for this favour. "Fine, fine. But, do it discreetly. Like, casually put into conversation that I want to go into the medical field in the future."
Alice laughed then, shaking her head at your want for discreetness in the matter, but she ultimately agreed. "Yes, yes, I won't outrightly ask, then."
"Thank you." You murmured softly, looking down at her with a small smile. You weren't going to admit it, but you were rather happy that Alice didn't listen to your protests and decided to ask Carlisle anyway.
∘₊✧────────────────── ✧₊∘
It was only about a week after your conversation with Alice that you and Carlisle, more like Alice and Carlisle, had arranged certain days for you to come over to the Cullen household for Carlisle to basically tutor you in some basic medicine. Although you didn't really have any say in what exactly Alice had discussed with Carlisle, you were pretty content with the outcome.
You were standing outside of the Cullen's giant mansion, anxiety lingering in your bones as you reached up your arm to knock on the wooden part of the door. However, it wasn't even necessary as you saw Carlisle walking up to the door through the clean, clear glass.
You had given him a small smile when he opened the door, you always seemed to forget that they would know when you arrived because they could smell the one thing that they lacked. Blood.
“Hello, Y/n.” Carlisle greeted with a fond, welcoming smile of his. “Come in, how are you?”
“I’m good, I’m good, thanks for asking. How are you?” You asked with a smile to match his, as he moved to the side to let you inside.
You walked inside of the Cullen's colossus place that they called home, it always seemed so neat and clean whenever you visited, thanks to Alice's constant insisting of you coming over.
“I’m very well, thank you.” Carlisle said with the smile still clear on his fair-looking face, his golden, honey eyes locked onto yours. “Do you want anything before we get started?”
“Oh, no, no.” You said with a dismissive hand. “I’m alright, thank you though.”
He gave you a small nod, motioning with his hand to you so that you would follow him up the stairs. “We’ll get straight to it then, follow me to my office.”
To his office? His office made it seem so much more formal and professional than it needed to be. After all, you were a high school student just trying to get the grades for med school. Part of you just assumed he would lend you some of the medical textbooks he had on him and practically told you to ‘jog on’ or ‘it’s up to you now’ or, well… anything else that didn’t involve him actually helping you like he was your tutor!
Though, regardless of your running thoughts, you followed him silently up the stairs of his house and towards his office. You weren’t entirely sure whether or not you were meant to make conversation with him. You and he hadn’t really talked aside from the typical small talk that was polite to have with the owner of the house you were visiting.
Even then, you had Alice or one of his adopted children to guide you through the conversation, and eventually walk you away when it was appropriate. In reality, you had no experience with talking to Carlisle on your own and you were kind of freaking out with the idea of having to talk to him for however long as he taught you.
Carlisle opened the door to his office, motioning in for you to enter first before he did. "Sit down, I have textbooks around."
You moved to take a seat, there had been a spare one, probably for when one of his adopted children wanted to speak to him while he was working. Though, some part of you wondered if that happened a lot since they all had their own partners, now including Edward.
When you sat down, Carlisle had moved over to the bookshelves, looking at them for a couple moments before picking out something that you would find easy to follow. You were just starting out, after all.
He got one out, it was a thick textbook and for a split second you wondered how the hell you were going to learn this stuff, then placed it on the desk. You let out an audible breath, Carlisle’s lips turned upwards at the sound.
“It seems like a lot, but we can take it slow.” He reassured you, a small chuckle escaping his mouth.
“Okay, okay, good.” You said with a small laugh, you ran a hand through your hair. "I'm beginning to think this might be harder then the usual schoolwork I'm given, y'know."
Another laugh came from his lips as he sat down opposite you, his tone in voice was soft and kind, the type of voice that could so easily ease someone's nerves. It definitely eased yours. "Well, I'm not going to sugar coat it."
"Good." You chuckled, looking down at the textbook placed in front of you, then back up at Carlisle. "So, where are we starting?"
∘₊✧────────────────── ✧₊∘
It had been around four months since Carlisle decided to help you out with your studies, a selfless act you thought. You were surprised that he had continued to mentor you, even after a month, let alone four.
You’d been learning a lot from the doctor, that was certain. From different illnesses and diseases, to what surgeries would be better suited for different types of injuries.
The funny part was that you were retaining all this information!
All the long words that were like tongue twisters, the methods of surgery and treatments. It was all things that you were able to memorise, to come back on as quickly as the question was asked.
You were proud of yourself, naturally.
However, it had not just been you who was carrying pride on their shoulders. It had been Carlisle as well.
You could always see the pull of his lips whenever you got something right, pronounced one of those long, tongue twisters right, understood what he was explaining.
Carlisle Cullen, Dr. Cullen, the over three-hundred year old Vampire was proud of you!
“You did well today.” Carlisle said with an approving nod, looking down at the large amounts of notes you had taken. The simple praise had gotten your mind boggled with thoughts that even you couldn't begin to describe.
He stood up from his chair, walking over to you and placing his cold, gentle hand on your shoulder. The touch, so simple and quick, had sent chills down your spine, caused a sudden tightness in your chest. However, just as quick as his hand was placed upon your shoulder, it was just as quickly taken off, leaving you with the aftermath of the lingering feeling of his hand.
A feeling you realised you missed as soon as his hand left your shoulder. You had missed the physical contact that he had granted you only a moment of insight of what intimacy like that would be like with him, the gentleness, the coldness in his undead skin.
God, you could have sworn your heart skipped a beat when the realisation had hit that he did, in fact, lay a hand on your shoulder. Such a simple action and it still caused you to feel so many things about the man standing in front of you.
You had no choice but to mentally scold yourself for letting your mind wonder so far with their thoughts, although, you had assumed that they would have been able to, no doubt, go further than just thinking about the harmless intimacy he had teased.
You had to quickly compose yourself to respond to his praise, nodding quickly as you swallowed to wet your dry mouth. "Oh, ah, yes, thank you."
There seemed to be a moment where Carlisle looked over your expression, and you had immediately grew self-conscious. Where you making a face? Was there some sign that showed Carlisle how that simple comment on your hard work affect you?
Though, Carlisle was strategic and smart with his observations, in how long he took to watch and take in information. It was never long enough that it was clear that what he was doing was observing your reaction, and he always seemed so casual when he continued talking.
"It's late, you've been here a few hours." Carlisle stated with that same tone in his voice that always made you comfortable around him. Though, his comment did make you glance at the clock on the wall before he continued speaking. "You should be heading home now, you wouldn't want to worry your parents."
You gave him another nod, oh, how you hated yourself in the moment for not being able to give another damned response other than a swift movement of your head. "Oh, yeah, I suppose I should."
You stood up from the chair opposite Carlisle's desk, grabbing your bag that rested on your chair's leg. When you looked up, a hand tucking your hair out of your face, your eyes had locked onto Carlisle's vampiric, golden eyes.
For only a few, short-lived moments, you couldn't tear your gaze away from those beautiful, gleaming orbs of his. It was the first time that Carlisle was the first to break the eyes contact, looking down at his desk before looking back up.
Though, much to his dismay, his eyes did not lock onto yours again.
You had been moving away from the desk, ready to see yourself out of his office and his house. "I will see you on Saturday, Carlisle."
He let out a small noise, one you could only describe as a breath and a quiet laugh as well, even though their was nothing amusing in what you said. "I will see you then. Would you like me to walk you out?"
"Oh, no, no," You declined the offer with a smile and gentle wave of the hand to empathise there really was no need. "I've been over so often, I don't think it's an obligation to do that now."
Carlisle let out a little, amused breath, nodding slowly as his eyes quickly glanced to the floor and then back to your body again. You normally wouldn't have noticed the little movement of his eyes, but then, you had been looking closely.
The action seemed almost anxious, it was uncharacteristic for Carlisle to show that, but yet, he did.
You couldn't help but wonder. In doing so, you, of course, had let your thoughts wonder once more. You wondered if, like you, with the time you two had spent together, there was some kind of more-than-normal fondness that he felt for you. Though, you were quick to send that thought to the back of your mind because, really, that had been a stupid, love-struck wish of yours for him to feel how he did for you.
∘₊✧───────────────── ✧₊∘
Once again, you had met Carlisle at his house for you regular little study sessions. It had been a pleasant six months of working with him so that you could learn the ins and outs of being a doctor, and he had given you much insight into what you would need to do to get into med school.
You couldn’t lie, either, but every time you had gone over to see Carlisle, your heart sped up that much more and you felt yourself waiting for the next time you would go over to his house. To talk to him. To see him.
Maybe this was some silly crush on him because he was actually helping you, not the way that everyone else who would only say that you’d need to get your grades up. Carlisle offered to help, he had let you come over to his house, he took time out of his day to help you.
He didn’t need to do that and, yet, he still did.
So, yes, maybe you had a little crush on the man who offered you guidance and knowledge on the career he literally pursued and would most defiantly continue to pursue throughout his immortal existence.
“You’re doing well.” Carlisle had said once he had given you a small knowledge recap on everything he taught you. “You’re remembering a lot. You’re a quick learner.”
You gave him an awkward smile, you still, after all this time of him helping you, didn’t know how to react when he complimented your memory and learning abilities like this. Every time he did end up praising you or complimenting you like this, he was met with a timid smile and a quiet ‘thank you’.
Though, inside, every time you were met by one of his compliments, you were freaking out. Your heart was fluttering in your chest and your stomach had felt like it had a dozen butterflies in it.
A small hum escaped his lips again when he heard that gentle 'thank you', one he wouldn't have been able to hear if it wasn't for his vampiric senses. You weren’t necessarily looking up at him, your eyes mostly fixated on the book in front of you.
That changed in a swift moment, before your brain could even comprehend what you were feeling.
It wasn’t as quick as your brain thought it was, but you could feel the chills down your back once you felt Carlisle’s cold, large hand gently grasping your chin and slowly moving your head so that you could look up at him.
“I mean it.” He said with that stupid smile that sent your stomach into an aching -throbbing- ‘please keep holding me’ feeling. “You’ve been doing well, you will do brilliantly if you decide to pursue medicine.”
Now you were sure he could notice the racing rhythm of your panicking, love stricken heart or, at least, how quickly it sped up in comparison to its quick speed previously. You noticed the furrow in Carlisle’s eyes, he was listening into your racing heart, and as his gaze focused on your face, you felt your body tense up.
“Why does you heart race whenever you’re here?” He finally questioned you, taking a step closer to you, looking down at your shy figure.
“It doesn’t.” You pointlessly lied, clearing your throat.
A small rumble of laughter was heard faintly from Carlisle, he knew you were lying and you knew there would have been no point in even attempting to lie. “You can’t lie to me.”
“I know.” You murmured quietly, looking up at his golden eyes with admiration and adoration clear in your human-looking eyes. “I don’t know why I tried.”
“Tell me,” He said, although it was a demand, it was soft spoken, like it was a suggestion instead of him telling you to do as he said. In fact, you would have been able to mistake it as a suggestion if you weren't sure he actually wanted you to tell him the reason. “Why is your heart racing?”
“It’s you.” You blurted out without thinking.
You could tell with the way his face fell into a frown that he had clearly thought something else from your response. His hand fell from holding your chin and he crossed them over his chest, leaning back on his desk.
“Me?” He questioned, puzzlement as his expression, his eyes glued to yours as if he was searching for an explanation.
“Not a bad ‘it’s you’!” You quickly reassured, your voice panicky and nervous as your mind immediately went to thinking you had offended him and ruined any chance of the regular meeting up.
His eyebrows knitted together, you had only further increased his confusion and your inability to correctly get your point across was making you want to rip your hair out of your head.
You exhaled heavily, running your hands through your hair as you let out a noise of frustration. “Like… ah, ‘it’s you’ in a way that you are the reason my heart is racing. Because… I admire you…?”
His head tilted in confusion, eyebrows furrowing. “And it is just admiration?”
“I like you.” You thoughtless blurted out, once more. Damn, how you sounded like a 13-year-old girl again talking to some crush in middle school.
His eyes widened slightly, his mind seemingly trying to understand the three words that escaped your mouth, trying to figure out if you were saying what he thought you said.
“And- and I know it’s weird because… Well, I’m in college.” You said with a shaky, anxiety-laced tone, but quickly shook your head. “I’m sorry, that’s… I shouldn’t have said that.”
The blonde vampire was silent for far too long.
You took the moment to stand up from your seat, shaking your head as you felt yourself getting hotter in the face. “I’m sorry, I’ll just go.”
“No, no.” He quickly said, shaking his head as his hands swiftly grasped lightly on your arms. “Wait, stay.”
You stopped moving when he grabbed hold onto you, your heart skipping a beat when you felt his frozen hands in your arms, your eyes glazing up to his face.
“I’m sorry,” he said quietly, his voice so soft to your ears. “I… I didn’t know what to say.”
One of his hands then moved up to gently cup your face, his thumb brushing against your cheek. God, the look in those perfect, golden eyes was enough to make you feel weak in the knees. Would Carlisle ever know the effect he had on you?
You could see every little shift in his eyes as they glance over every miniscule detail on your face, before settling on your plump lips. Carlisle wouldn't move in, not yet anyway. He would have asked to kiss you, but, for once in his long, long life, he found himself at a loss of words.
“Carlisle…” you breathed out gently, you knew he could see the way your eyes also darted over the details of his face.
“I know.” He breathed out quietly, your faces mere inches away from each others’.
You leaned up ever so slightly, nose brushing against his as one of his hands moved where your neck and shoulder met. The feeling of his frozen hands sending shivers down your spine.
He whispered out, his voice barely meeting your ears. “Can I..?”
Your head nodded slowly before you even realised you wanted to, the gaze that you shared didn’t break, not until the last second when the gap between your lips closed. It was slow, calculated as he quickly learnt the way of your lips.
The kiss felt like it ended as quick as it started, the feeling of his lips no longer on yours felt odd even within the short amount of time they were pressed against yours. The longing of the moment lasting longer clear to both yourself and him, especially after you had leaned upwards to meet his lips once more.
You watched as his lips turned upwards into an amused smirk, golden eyes not moving away from your face as he moved away. Though, despite moving away, you could still feel his breaths hitting your skin.
“Carlisle, I…” You muttered out, but words failed you in that moment, what could you say, really? There were so many words swirling around your head, it was difficult to actually string them together into a sentence.
“I know.” He whispered quietly, his forehead resting against yours, not yet fully moving away from your frame.
There was a split moment where the two of you remained in that position, not moving away yet, but not moving in for another kiss. However, the stillness of the moment quickly ceased when you leaned towards Carlisle once more to press your lips against his again.
This time, the kiss lasted longer. Neither of you wanted to move away as quick as you did the first time round, wanting to savour the feeling of your wet lips against the other's in the slow, passionate tangle your lips stayed in.
Carlisle could have gone on for longer than you, he was a vampire after all and didn’t need the oxygen that you needed. You fought against your burning lungs to keep your lips against his, but you could have sworn your chest with tightening from the lack of oxygen that you were letting yourself have.
You were swift to move away, letting out a breathless laugh. You shook your head, a hand going up to your mouth as if it would stop the embarrassment that you felt from needing to pull away so quickly just to breathe.
“I’m sorry, I- ah,” You laughed out, but Carlisle only laughed alongside you.
His hands cradled your face, such a stark contrast to the strength and danger you knew he - his kind - could bring, and yet, he was so gentle to you, so soft. “Remember to breathe, love.”
His hands were cold against your cheeks, but you still leaned into the touch. You took a few moments, but that grin still remained in your lips.
“You’re okay now?” He asked with a chuckle, pressing a kiss against your forehead, before his nose brushed against yours, a silent invitation to lean into again.
You let out a soft hum in response, head leaning closer to his once more before your lips met in a passionate dance once again. This one, shorter than the first because Carlisle was sure to let you have a chance to breathe, was slow, but was met with an underlining feeling of lust.
You weren't really planning on acting on said emotion, well, that was before you did act on the emotion.
You pressed your lips against Carlisle's a little more roughly, despite him being the one leading the kiss. The action caused his hands to move away from how they were cradling your face, a hand going to the back of your neck, while the other moved down to your waist. Now that his hand was on your waist, he took the opportunity to pull you closure to him.
Your body was flush against his, your hands resting on his chest, before one moved up to his shoulders. You felt as your breathing got heavier, as your fingers itched with a need to touch the vampire in front of you, and a familiar heat building inside of you.
As if having been lost in the moment, Carlisle shifted how the two of you were standing, manoeuvre your body so that your back hit the edge of his desk. He pulled away from your lips for a split second, merely because he knew that you weren't going to and you needed to breathe. His nose brushed against yours for a moment, eyes opening again to gaze upon yours, before he dived back into the kiss.
"Carlisle..." You tried to breathe out in between the kisses that you shared, but what were you really going to say? It was almost like your vocabulary was reduced to one word: his name.
You couldn't help yourself, not while his lips were against yours in this addictive way. You hands gripping onto his button-up shirt, almost pathetically tugging on the fabric. Maybe you shouldn't be trying to initiate anything, this, alone, was a mistake and no doubt a side affect of your spurred up hormones mixing in with your pathetic crush.
You felt the subtle quirk in Carlisle's lips within the kiss, but you knew that Carlisle wasn't going to give into your desire that quickly. He was a gentleman in all senses, it didn't take a genius to know that.
“Carlisle…” you tired again, your nose brushing against his as you pulled away from that sweetening kiss.
He moved only an inch away, his breath hitting your lips as he looked down at you with those beautiful golden- golden? No, they weren’t golden anymore, they were darker now. You wouldn’t have noticed it if you weren’t so close to him, but you saw the deep, black void that his eyes had shifted into.
“Please." You whispered, just under your breath that you were sure that he was barely able to hear it.
He didn't look away from your gaze for a few seconds, only being able to hear your breathing in the silence that filled the tense room. The burning passion in both of your eyes was undeniable, the weight of what was happening shared on both of you shoulders, but you found that it wasn't a heavy weight to be burdened with. It wasn't a burden at all, really.
He inhaled faintly, even though he didn't need the air, and leaned back down to capture your lips again. It was quicker, so that he could gently mutter, "I've got you."

synopsis: You never understood the hype over the Cullen family. Sure, they were beautiful, but didn’t anyone at school have enough common sense to notice something was off? Too bad a certain empath is smitten with you and merely finds your open disdain entertaining.
You never understood the hype over the Cullen family. Sure, they were beautiful, but didn’t anyone at school have enough common sense to notice something was off? They looked like marble statues. Flawlessly sculpted, but lifeless, almost artificial. And then there were their mannerisms, too controlled to be teenagers and a bit too uncanny for your liking.
Jasper Hale was no exception. Out of all of them, he seemed like the biggest walking red flag.
He wasn’t an asshole, exactly, but his whole demeanor screamed danger. Every time you glanced his way, he was as stiff as a board, eyes unblinking and hands clenched into fists beneath the table. There was a reason people said he was the second most unapproachable Cullen, with Rosalie taking the number one spot. Yet, despite his apparent hatred for people, he seemed determined to catch your attention.
He'd linger by your locker, his eyes burning a hole in your back. When you snapped at him to get lost, he didn’t flinch. He smiled. HE FUCKING SMILED LIKE YOU WERE A KITTEN THROWING A TANTRUM. In class, he'd try to strike up a conversation, blatantly ignoring your clipped and cold responses with a patience only a saint could have.
Not only did you notice this, but the whole school did, too.
Jessica, damn her soul, was at the head of the rumor mill, spinning far-fetched stories about you and Jasper being secret lovers. If punching someone, much less a girl, wouldn’t get you expelled or possibly arrested, Jessica would have been target number one.
You tried to keep your anger in check, especially when the whole school (students and staff alike) kept staring at you and Jasper like you were part of some soap opera. But one rumor, in particular, pushed you over the edge.
“I’m not a sugar baby!” you hissed at Jessica when she tried to strike up a conversation about the nonexistent gifts Jasper was supposedly giving you. “What bullshit gave you that idea?”
“He gave you a pencil—”
“Oh, fuck off and shove that pencil—” You couldn’t finish that sentence as the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch and the beginning of fourth period. Jessica just waved goodbye and scurried off, knowing your temper wouldn’t be stopped by a bell. Huffing, you made your way to history class, where, lo and behold, Jasper was already seated, a grin on his face.
As the class dragged on, you couldn’t keep ignoring Jasper or the hushed whispers of the other students. His grin never faltered, and neither did the feeling of his gaze burning into you.
Screw it.
Without waiting for the teacher to finish his lecture on some historical battle you couldn’t care less about, you stood up abruptly.
“Out.” you muttered, grabbing Jasper by the arm with a grip that brooked no argument. Jasper, taken aback, allowed you to drag him to his feet. A low murmur rippled through the class, but you didn’t care. You were done playing around.
You hauled his ass out the classroom, ignoring the teacher’s confused calls after you, and pulled him down the hallway to the nearest janitor's closet. You shoved the door open, pushed him inside, and slammed it shut behind you. The tiny space was dimly lit and filled with the scent of cleaning supplies, but you didn’t let the cramped quarters intimidate you. Instead, you crowded Jasper back against a shelf, glaring up at him.
“Alright, Hale,” you snapped, eyes blazing. “I’m sick of the staring, the lurking, and the creepy smiles. What's your deal? Are you trying to get under my skin or are you just that bored?”
For a moment, Jasper didn’t respond. Then, slowly, that infuriatingly calm smile spread across his lips.
“You know,” he drawled, his voice like honey dripping off a knife, “for someone who claims not to care, you seem awfully worked up about it.”
“Cut the crap,” you growled, slamming your palm against the shelf beside his head. “You’ve been following me around like some kind of deranged puppy and I want to know why. And don’t you dare feed me some bullshit line about coincidence.”
Jasper’s smile faded. “Maybe some of the rumors are true,” he admitted. “Maybe I do want to get to know you better.”
The words surprised you. You’d expected deflection, but this was something else. You narrowed your eyes. “Get to know me? And what exactly does that mean?”
“It means,” Jasper continued, his gaze meeting yours head-on, “that you’re different from the others. You don’t fawn over us like we’re gods, and you’re not afraid to speak your mind. It’s refreshing.”
You snorted. “So, what? You think acting like a creep is the way to get my attention? Newsflash, Hale: it’s not working.”
His lips twitched, almost like he was holding back a laugh. “Oh, I don’t know. It got you to drag me in here, didn’t it?”
That did it. You reached out, grabbed the front of his shirt, and pulled him closer, your faces mere inches apart. “Listen to me. If you want to know me, try acting like a normal person instead of some stalker freak. Got it?”
Jasper didn't reply immediately, just stared at you before his gaze briefly flicked to your lips. “Got it.” he murmured, a reverent expression crossing his face that confused the hell out of you. You let go of him, expecting him to step back, but he didn’t. He stayed right where he was, not seeming at all bothered by the confined space or your proximity.
“Just so we’re clear, I’m not giving up. I’m still going to try to get to know you, whether you like it or not.”
Feeling a mix of frustration and something you didn’t want to name, you turned around and opened the door. “Fine, but try anything like this again, and I won’t be so nice.”
Jasper chuckled, that damn smile creeping back onto his face. “Deal, but somehow, I think you like a little chaos.”
You rolled your eyes. “Let’s get back to class, Hale.” But as you walked away, you couldn’t shake the feeling of his gaze on your back. A challenge silently hanging in the air between you.

Carlisle Cullen X Fem Reader - Night Shift
The fluorescent lights of the clinic buzz incessantly above you, casting the empty waiting room in a sterile glow. You sit at the reception office desk, flipping through patient files, but your mind is not on your tasks, it's instead focused on him—Dr. Carlisle Cullen—the head of the clinic and your boss for the past few months.
From the moment you first stepped into the clinic, nerves buzzing in your chest, his calm, commanding presence was undeniable. You hadn’t expected someone so strikingly handsome to head the small-town clinic. And yet, there he was, his golden eyes warm and inviting, his smile kind. You felt the pull instantly, though you brushed it off as a simple crush, one that would fade with time.
But it hadn’t.
Every day since has been a challenge. You sometimes lingered in the break room longer than necessary, stealing glances whenever he passed by. It feels like he's doing the same sometimes—his gaze held on you just a little too long, his voice getting slightly softer when he speaks your name. But it could all be in your head.
It’s after hours now, the last patient is long gone, and the clinic is unusually quiet. Your shift is almost over, and you prepare to shut down your computer when you hear footsteps behind you.
“Y/N?”
Carlisle’s deep voice pulls you out of your thoughts. You turn around, startled to see him standing in the doorway of his office, his white coat still on, sleeves slightly rolled up, exposing his forearms. You can’t help but notice the way his muscles flex slightly as he leans against the doorframe, his eyes locked on you with a soft intensity.
“Dr. Cullen,” you manage to say, a smile tugging at the corners of your lips, though your pulse quickens. “I didn’t think anyone else was still here.”
“I was finishing up some paperwork,” he says, his tone casual, though his eyes seem to flicker with something deeper. “But I noticed the lights were still on out here. Are you staying late?”
You shake your head, trying to focus. “Just wrapping up a few things. I’ll be out of your hair soon.”
He steps into the room, his presence filling the space, making the air feel charged. He walks toward the desk, stopping just a few feet away, close enough that you can smell his familiar scent—clean, crisp, with a hint of something more enticing.
“You don’t have to rush,” he says softly, his voice laced with something you can’t quite place. “I actually wanted to talk to you.”
Your heart skips a beat. “Talk to me?”
Carlisle nods, and for a moment, the silence between you is heavy, palpable. His gaze holds yours, and you feel like he’s seeing straight through you, reading every thought, every feeling you’ve tried so hard to hide.
“You’ve been doing an incredible job here, Y/N. More than just competent… you’ve brought a warmth to this place that we didn’t even know we needed,” he says, his voice deep and sincere. “And, if I’m being honest, it hasn’t gone unnoticed.”
His words make your heart race, your breath hitching as you process what he’s saying. There’s something in his tone that suggests more than just professional praise.
“I—thank you,” you stammer, feeling a warmth creep up your neck, your pulse racing. “That means a lot coming from you.”
Carlisle steps closer, rounding the desk until he’s standing just a few inches away from you. Suddenly, the air between you feels charged, electric. His eyes, golden and piercing, hold yours in a way that makes it impossible to look away.
“There’s something I’ve been meaning to ask you,” he says, his voice lower now, more intimate.
“Yes?” You reply just a little too quickly and you can't help but cringe internally.
“ If I were to ask you on a date would you say yes?” He asked
“You want to as me on a date ?” The question came out a little self-deprecating.
You’ve spent months wondering if the tension between you was one-sided if those fleeting glances and the soft brushes of his hand were just coincidences. He steps even closer now, his hand reaching out to gently brush a stray strand of hair behind your ear. The touch is soft, but it sends a jolt through your entire body, making your skin tingle where his fingers linger. His hand had felt cold when he had gently brushed your ear but the contrast of it against your flushed skin felt amazing.
“I’ve been trying to ignore it,” he admits, his voice barely above a whisper. “But it’s getting harder every day. You make it impossible, Y/N.”
Your heart pounds in your chest as his words sink in. There’s no mistaking it now—the attraction, the chemistry that’s been simmering between you for months is real. And he feels it too.
“I know,” he says softly, his eyes searching yours. “I know this is complicated. But I can’t keep pretending I don’t want you.” He stares down at you towering above you looking like a god.
Your breath catches in your throat, and for a moment, time seems to stand still. The only sound in the room is the soft hum of the overhead lights, and the only thing you can focus on is Carlisle—his piercing gaze, the way his lips part slightly as if he’s holding back everything he wants to say.
“ Carlisle I don't care about any of that I just thought you were way out of my league, to be honest.” You couldn't help the honesty. Not that you didn't have self-confidence but Carlisle was way beyond any man you had ever seen look wise. His perfect features and natural charm made for a deadly combination.
“Come here Y/N.” The command was firm yet gentle. You stood up and he still towered over you. He is so close to you, within arms reach. Then as if he can read your wishes his cold hand returns to your face to gently grasp your jaw and cheek. He seems to examine your face thoroughly and then he scans down your body taking his time. His look of pure approval and lust has your heart beating out of your chest and your stomach doing flips.
“Absolutely beautiful. I don't understand how you cannot see that.” Carlisle’s voice feels like velvet on your skin.
And then, without warning, he closes the distance between you, pulling you closer to him suddenly with one arm around your waist his lips crashing against yours in a heated kiss.
You gasp against his mouth, your hands instinctively reaching for his chest, feeling the hard planes of muscle beneath his shirt. His kiss is intense, demanding, yet somehow gentle, like he’s been waiting for this moment just as long as you have.
Carlisle’s hands find your waist, pulling you closer as he deepens the kiss, his lips moving against yours with a hunger that surprises you. You’ve imagined this moment so many times, but nothing could have prepared you for the way it feels—the way your body melts into his, the way his hands seem to know exactly where to touch you to make your pulse race.
He pulls back slightly, his breath hot against your lips as he whispers, “Are you sure about this?”
Your heart pounds in your chest as you look up at him, your mind racing. But there’s no doubt, no hesitation in your voice when you say, “Yes.”
That’s all the encouragement he needs.
Carlisle’s lips find yours again, more insistent this time, as he backs you up against the desk. You feel the edge of it press against your hips, but all you can focus on is him—his hands roaming over your body, the way he’s kissing you like he’s starving like he’s been holding back for far too long.
Before you know it, he’s lifting you onto the desk, his hands sliding beneath your shirt, fingers grazing over your skin. The coolness of his touch sends shivers down your spine, and you can’t help but arch into him, craving more.
“Tell me you want this,” he murmurs against your neck, his lips brushing against your skin, sending sparks of electricity through your body.
“I want this,” you breathe, your voice shaky with anticipation.
Carlisle’s hands move with purpose now, slipping your shirt over your head, his eyes dark with desire as they take in the sight of you. He leans down, capturing your lips in another searing kiss, his hands exploring every inch of your skin, igniting a fire within you that you can’t control. Your hands grab at his clothes, his jacket slides off him and then you start helping him with the buttons of his crisp white button up underneath. He helps you and suddenly you are staring at a muscular broad chest. He is more defined than you expected and you can't help but let your eyes trail down to where his abs are and then his faint happy trail of light blonde hair. Your mouth water at the sight of the bulge that tented his black slacks. You bring your hand to his chest and trail it down slowly to start undoing his belt. You notice he doesn't look like he is breathing but then as your eyes meet he catches his breath. He looks at you with hungry eyes that make you melt inside. Once his pants are undone you pull out his long hard cock and stroke it gently. It is surprisingly cold and the sight of it is magnificent, long with a few visible veins and the pink tip makes you want to place your lips around it.
“Y/N I am going to try my best to be gentle with you my darling but if I hurt you please tell me and I will stop immediately.” He whispered into your ear, making goosebumps rise on your skin.
“You won't hurt me, Carlisle. I know it.” You whispered back knowing he wouldn't but somewhere deep down inside you, hoped he would. You liked it a little rough and you wanted to see him fully unleashed. Not his usual calm, collected, controlled self. You pushed your hand gently against his chest and he stepped back allowing you to slide down from the desk and onto your knees in front of him. You decide to unhook your bra quickly and his eyes are glued to your movements, like a predator watching carefully. It turned you on, encouraging you to continue. You look up at Carlisle and he is the most still you have ever seen him be. He waits for you, letting you have full control. You reach up and stroke his length then you rise up on your knees and lick the pale pink tip. He groans his head falling back, You take him in your mouth slowly and start sucking gently. Part of you wants to tease him until he loses control and takes exactly what he wants for you. Your hand continues to stroke him as you take more and more of him in your mouth, your tongue tracing the bottom of his shaft with each motion. From under your lashes, you look up at him and notice the look of pure pleasure on his face. It made a low moan escape from your throat and then you felt his hand entwine into your hair. You moaned once more at the contact, his icy fingers against your burning hot scalp. He gently griped and then followed his hand as your head bobbed up and down getting closer and closer to taking him fully. You know he will hit the back of your throat and you want to try. You don't usually like giving men head but this is Carlisle and he is worth it. You push yourself further on your toes and take him to the hilt, you gag slightly and your eyes water, his grip on your hair around the base of your neck tightens. Your hands grip his hips where slacks have slightly slid down exposing sharp hip bones. Your nails press little half-moons into his velvety skin. He pulls you back, gentle but firm and you look up at him, drool on your lips, watery eyes. You know your mascara might be running slightly. He makes a low growly sound from the back of his throat, admiring you and looking down at you with such intensity.
“You are exquisite, my love.” He murmured and your heart skipped a beat.
In a fluid motion, he somehow picks you up from the floor your legs wrapping around his waist. Your arms around his neck, your arch up to kiss him. He kisses you with a passion that leaves you dizzy. You feel the desk under you once more as he continues the kiss. He slides your skirt down and then pushes your panties to the side and you break the kiss to release a breathy moan. He smirks at you, his cold fingers brushing against your slick core.
“So wet for me, my beautiful girl.” He purred
“Carlisle please I need you to fuck me.” The request was more of a demand and you knew it sounded needy.
“I was going to return the favor but maybe we can save that for another time.” His smile revealed a breathtaking white smile that could have blinded someone.
He didn't waste time positioning himself at your entrance. Carlisle’s strong arms bracketed your hips and caged you into his intoxicating scent. You leaned back onto the desk, sending things flying to the floor. He pushed all the way in and you let out a moan your head falling back at the feeling of him fully seated inside you. He filled you in the best way just on the verge of being too much, but just right. His pace was slow at first as if he was savouring the feeling of you around him.
“You feel amazing darling.” He leaned in to whisper those words into your neck. Then he was kissing in, trailing down to your collarbone and then your breasts, all the while still slowly pumping in and out. You gripped his forearms, needing to stabilize yourself, you moaned when he finally picked up the pace slightly. He looked into your eyes and then as if he knew exactly what you wanted he gently grasped your throat with one hand, holding it in a firm but gentle grip. He sped up once more, his hips slapping against your hips making the desk rock shake and rock slightly. He leans in to kiss you, still holding your neck in a firm grip, then his other arm snakes under your waist pulling you into him while he fucks you at a steady pace. He pulls you up into him until you are no longer touching the desk as he holds you to him by the waist with little to no effort. Your arms wrapped around his neck but with the way he holds you, you don't even need to hold on. He breaks the frenzied kiss looking deep into your eyes, the intensity of his thrusts force quick pants out of you with each time he pounds into you. He uses you exactly how you want like he is crazed with desire.
Your moans got louder as you felt the familiar feeling of a rising orgasm. Your nails dug into the back of Carlisle's neck, your back arching into him further your nipples pressing against his chest. He ground into you and then he released your neck to reach down and rub your pulsing clit. It tipped you over the edge and sent you hurdling towards your climax.
“Carlisle, I'm gonna cum.” You moaned out trying to form the words in your lusty haze.
“Yes cum for me beautiful.” He rasped rubbing circles on your clit as you reached orgasm. Your toes curled and you saw stars as you came hard.
He let out a low groan as he came. You both rode out your orgasms together, breathing hard, pressed against each other. His skin still felt cold somehow and you were grateful as it helped to cool you down from the hot flush from your orgasm. He slowly pulled out of you and then rested you back down on the desk as he reached over to a box of tissues on the office desk and then used it to clean you both up. He helped you dress in a comfortable silence, as he looked at you with a warm gaze.
“I still have intentions of taking you out for dinner, my love. This is usually not how I got about things.” He chuckled low, giving me one of his amazing smiles. Your breath hitched mesmerized by the way his golden eyes sparkled as he looked into yours.
“I am looking forward to it Dr.” You smiled up at him teasing him by using his title.
His smile turned lustful as he leaned down to kiss you.
