I am learning control of this body more and more. Learning cohesion of this body with everything in my life more and more. Learning that this body is ME, more and more. Balance, contraction, control, experience, comfort, discomfort, hypertropy, atrophy, injury, recovery, sadness, anger, joy, pleasure, disgust, bliss, elation... All of these sensations are of the body. The mind merely does it's best to make sense of all of the wonders of the body. It is only fitting that as we move deeper into the 21st Century that we make a shift towards really incorporating the body's intelligence into our complete cycle of function & experience and not look solely towards the mind for guidance. Mastery of body is not a static state but a process that is ongoing and ever evolving. The body is never static. It is never in complete homeostasis. This is one of the wonders of human life. We don't have pull up bars in my neighborhood. We don't have anything for adults to do calisthenics on...
