You will have to replay chapter 1 (the demo) to play chapter 2. I didn't change much about the demo's content except for some minor tweaks here and there.

I sort of drifted towards puzzles and minigames as a means of progression over turn-based combat because the latter became too tedious to test.

Also disabled rollback until chapter two because, to be frank, I didn't want to toggle it on and off for every possible combat encounter when there's like 15 enemy configurations, and risk missing one.

I also had to streamline the narrative from what I originally envisioned as an open map to a more linear experience. This is because the alternative (making about seven imagemaps for areas you're not going to have access to most of the time) seemed like a whole lot of busywork for very little use or benefit. You're still able to click on stuff, but the narrative is a bit more on-rails for sanity's sake.

I've weeded out as many bugs as I could, but there might be ones that eluded notice. There is one load-bearing bug during the final boss that, although it doesn't particularly hinder your ability to get past it, prevents the labels from behaving how I want them to. But since the boss' gimmick involves disorientation, let's just chalk that up to atmosphere lol.

In that vein, a lot of story and dialogue are tucked away in imagemaps. Try to stay in places for as long as you can when given the choice rather than leaving right away.

As usual, please try not to button mash if you can help it. I've tried to put up more guardrails so that speed-clicking won't crash the game, but I can't foresee every possible bug that may arise from nyooming.

Regarding puzzle and minigame difficulty... I tried to design the game around the idea that if I, someone who is bad at games but sufficiently determined to get through them, can scrape through with a decent amount of effort and focus, most other people should be able to as well.

There are no in-game puzzles that require outside knowledge. Everything you need to know to solve the puzzle is provided by the game itself.

It's hard to describe the tone because it's like. Kind of similar to OaS with a mixture of whimsical and serious stuff, but also delivered in a somewhat different flavor than OaS. More muted, maybe? Idk how to explain it beyond that.
