Naxos, with its varied and extensive coastline, is an excellent diving location. Diving locations are suitable both for beginners and experienced divers.
Beginners will also have the opportunity to explore the beautiful sea world of Naxos with the assistance of the qualified diving centers of the island.
More experienced divers could explore sea wrecks, such as cargo ship “Marianna”, which sunk in 1981 and has become an artificial reef, or reefs, such as the unique Graviera reef. Other interesting diving spots include: the WWII Bristol Beaufighter and the Frouros rocky islet for unique-to-the-region Meditteranean marine life.
