Good afternoon, your majesty. I was wondering how do you feel about bentonite clay masks? I wonder if it’s true that the Gorons started using clay masks?
Such products are useful in the practices of hygiene. But as with all aids, it is best not to become reliant on their gifts. For the body will grow accustomed to their constant presence, and violently resent their absence.
As for the Gorons, while it is true they have adorned themselves in masks made of clay, I highly doubt the reason is exfoliation.
Dekus Gorons and Zoras.
Headcanon that Gorons have molten rock in their gut and rolling causes them to have a temporary magnetic fields because of the geodynamo effect

Everything about this game is just so cute and I am here for it. Even the Gorons are so cute.

HOLD UP!!
I just realized that Hyrule has never seen a Goron before! Right!?! Cause as far as I know they weren't introduced till Ocarina of Time so like...
Imagine the first time he meets one! And he gets to experience the bone crushing hugs.
I need a fic of this now please and thank you to every and all writers <3
I am sick for first time in a while and I will be projecting it on characters. So....
Sick gorons hcs
General and x reader (Daruk, Yunobo)
It's a little difficult to picture these guys with a cold. I mean... do they even get sick? But lets say yes.
Gorons can fight off bocoblins, deal with freaking drugs and munch on stones. But damn the cold.
As soon as their temperature drops, (And I am sure it doesn't rise, I mean, can it get any higher near volcano?) they become whiny.
You know jokes about dads acting like they are dying when their temperature changes by one degree? Basically gorons.
All of them would feel like shit and stay home, eat rock roast or go to hot springs and just... lay where till they get their temperature up.
Most of them act the same way:
Suffer -> complain -> curse gods -> apologies for everything they did and didn't do -> say goodbye to loved ones -> handle cold -> act like nothing happened.
The funniest thing that none of other gorons mention it later. As if it really never happened.
I feel like Daruk would try to pull through. Ignore it as much as he can and go about his duties.
You once saw him collapse when his temperature got too low and had to call for help so others could carry him back to his home and treat him properly.
Since then, if he ever gets sick, (and believe me you will notice once he gets less talkative, more tired and starts eating with less enjoyment) you must force him to stay home. Who knows where he will pass out next time, right? Better be safe than sorry.
Yunobo in BotW would just stay at home and cry, thinking that he is dying. You should stay with him through it all and never remind him about being a crybaby over little cold. He will be so ashamed if you bring it up!
As for TotK Yunobo, I feel like he would try to ignore it like Daruk. Just tries to pull through even though he feels shitty. You should really look after him. This guy might overwork himself and then fall asleep in one of mines, body too tired to walk or roll.
All the gorons would be cranky, try to be close to you and your warmth during sickness.
They get extremely touch-starved and want your attention 24/7. These rock guys are generally very affectionate but you get 10 times more clingy goron. They can't help it! Mountain dwellers feel shitty and just want something to ground them.
Somehow sickness doesn't take away their love for rock roast. But it totally makes them eat with less enjoyment.
When they get better they repay for your kindness, though it will be thanks through small actions and acts of service. As I said, gorons don't bring up how they were acting during sickness, it's like a silent law that isn't written anywhere and so big guys would appreciate if you act like it never happened too.
But remember that if you got a huge portion of rock roast on your porch next day it's their silent thank you.
Also small sketch of sick gorons
Have a nice day!
