Kinger as we know is a crazy ol man but that doesn't mean he's not intelligent. Infact its BEEN known he's an important character in the series and the company which made the game in the first place.

Before I state my theory I must say that "entertainment for a king" will be a repeating concept.

In all the other episodes we see the main characters go on crazy adventures which were made to ENTERTAIN, they were fun for the viewer to watch and interesting for the characters. (as what Caine intended)

Now the one time that the adventure they went on wasnt AS ENTERTAINING as the rest of the other ones was episode 4—Fast Food Masquerade, which would be the least entertaining due to it being just another ordinary day of another ordinary person's life.

In all the other adventures Kinger has always been present, but when was the ONE time he wasnt? Episode 4. It wasn't as extravagant or as "fun" as the other adventures would be, the adventure wasn't "fit for a king".

The first time we see Pomni is confirmed the first time that Kaufmo wasnt present, due to the other characters wondering what happened with them, not aware of their abstraction yet.

In this episode we lost a clown, we lost an 'entertainer' but we get a different entertainer which is a jester.

For this theory of mine its already well known that Kinger is very relative and important, I do really think the abstraction of a clown with a 'replacement' of a jester is VERY intentional. Without proper entertainment a king would be bored, wouldn't he?

I think that Kinger is THE heart of this Circus and Caine NEEDS to keep him entertained, otherwise, the game would end!

I also believe this theory because its been heavily implied that kinger has been there since the very beginning, the circus isnt THAT old from what I've gathered and researched on, which implied that it IS possible that Kinger was apart of the first batch and/or the first player.

(Also because he was there during the first abstraction which means he was there VERY early on)

Back-up evidence:

- Gooseworx has declared that we would have a "rose quartz moment" implying that a character we already have known may have another side of them that we're not aware that was THEM. (KINGER)

- (creds to evil_scombert on tiktok) the music we get the moment we enter Caine's office is the same music often associated with peasants entertaining their owners, the song itself represents the freedom these people long for.
