Winnipeg, Man., March 19.-For more than six hours Sandy Beggs, farmer, insane from the effects of influenza, terrorized the village of Rose Isle, until overpowered by a crowd. He is now in the Provincial jail here. After wrecking the interior of a general store, littering the street with merchandise and severely beating the owner, Beggs smashed every plate glass window in a restaurant, went to the post office and here wrecked the interior assaulting the postmaster and a woman with a horse whip.
