This is one of my favorite ever photos with Maya. We took this on Wednesday, August 7, 2019. We were about to watch (I think) "Ready or Not". I use this photo all the time on my YouTube channel and I just thought I should share this with you all. #relationshipgoals The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him, a helper who is just right for him, a helper fit for him, a helper comparable to him, a counterpart who is suitable and complementary for him.”- Genesis 2:18 #godlylove This is one of the myriad of scripture verses I had on my apartment bedroom wall, when I lived in Charlotte, NC. I used to pray every single day, asking God if He would bless me with the woman who "complements me, who is my counterpart, who is suitable for me, my perfect helper, someone who is complementary for me" (Genesis 2:18), my rib, my 2, my P-31 girl (Proverbs 31) the baddest girl in the whole world! God is so good! The woman you see on this photo is all that for me! God wasn't lying when He said He would work out "all things for your good." (Romans 8:28) All those late nights crying myself to sleep, because I wanted my wife growing up, was worth the wait. Every day, every moment, every second, is like going on an adventure, like being on a date, like experiencing a vacation being with Maya. Thank You so much LORD for this glorious, remarkable, amazing, spectacular and perfect specimen of a woman you have bestowed on me! She is the greatest of all of them. Thank You LORD!
