Princess Glimmer and the Day of Many Choices: Violence (2/?)
"Today I woke up and chose VIOLENCE!" Glimmer said with loud voice.
She grinned. Everyday was a party if you knew how to party,
With a quick motion, she grabbed her pillow knife, then she teleported into her best friend Adora's room.
"ADORA!" she shouted. "IT'S TIME FOR VIOLENCE!"
Her best fiend Adora woke up with a snort and grabbed her own pillow knife. She made a quick stab towards Glimmer, who jumped to the side.
"Violence!" Adora cheered and quickly rolled away as Glimmer stabbed her pillow. Then she got to her feet and roughly tacked Glimmer to the floor. Only a quick teleport saved the princess from Adora's follow-up kick, and then Adora had to jump to the side when Glimmer emerged over her and crash downward as a glitter bomb.
With narrow eyes, Glimmer watched Adora carefully move, every muscle honed to perfection, her every sense acutely aware. Glimmer couldn't help but feel a little warm feeling of admiration as she saw her friend move through battle like a fish through water. Strong, poised, in control.
Glimmer parried Adora's thrust and aimed a counter-blow with her left hand. Adora caught her fist in her hand and grinned.
"Nice try, princess," she said with a heterosexual little grin.
Glimmer gasped the way friends do, suddenly acutely aware of just how close the fight had brought her to Adora's face. Very flustered from the fight and no other reason, Glimmer stared into those large, blue eyes, and suddenly she felt like she could stand like that forever, live like that forever, never wanting for anything but those beautiful eyes looking at her like that...
Just gals being pals, really.
"So, who are we fighting?" Adora grinned, bringing Glimmer back to the here and now.
