#ghost walk

I drove up to Woodlawn Cemetery one more time today to get the last two headstone photographs for our 20th anniversary Ghost Walk book. I also finished writing my second script for this year's Ghost Walk.

Today, I was editing our Ghost Walk 20th anniversary book and came upon a conundrum. Charles Langdon is a significant figure in our local history so he shows up in a few of the scripts. The problem is that in some he is called “Charlie” and others “Charley.” Looking at other sources, I see it’s about an even split between the two. Or archivist suggests I just change all the instances of his name to Charles, but I feel like that changes the tone of the narratives. Oh well. I have plenty of time to ponder before we go to print.

I went to Woodlawn Cemetery this afternoon to take pictures of headstones for our Ghost Walk 20th anniversary book. It was a bright, sunny, beautiful day without a cloud in the sky. Unfortunately, that's not ideal for taking pictures of headstones under trees. I only got about a third of the stones photographed. I can retake any that I need to when I go back to photograph the rest.

Today, our Education Director, Archivist, and I went to Woodlawn Cemetery to make copies of their section maps. Then, I plotted 20 years of Ghost Walk locations on the general cemetery map.

It was another warm sunny day today and I actually got to be outside. Our education director and I went to Woodlawn Cemetery to get a head start on planning for this year's Ghost Walk.
