Eracle is a young gargoyle born by artificial means (by cloning an existing gargoyle child, in this fanon Thailog got impatient about having its own kids at its own terms), and has to deal for the first time with the fact that there's more than one single person that is smart and he actually likes to spend time with in the whole world. Bamboozled, shooketh... but not that averse to the idea.

All right! Time for the Guys who are Bad: Bad Guys (gender neutral)!
First of all, I actually really like this miniseries being in black and white. Feels kinda like film noir, or a manga. Dramatic shading and value studies, my beloved!
Y’all, we as a fandom are SLEEPING on whatever’s going on with Dingo and Matrix. Kinda fascinating that Dingo wasn’t able to escape something kinda effed up happening to him, despite nope-ing out of all that crap in “Upgrade.” He gets to opt in from here on out, but damn, Matrix, asking for neither permission NOR forgiveness in this moment (also, as someone who finds Demona and Macbeth’s magical pain-sharing link some of the tastiest food ON THE PLANET, giving Dingo and Matrix a science-based one is also delicious).
I also find myself interested in Matrix as a character. Its (their?) interest in law and order carries over from the end of "Walkabout," and has even turned into a bit of a single-minded goal, while Matrix itself remains a self-assured, morally grey character (or, I guess… an embodiment of the “lawful neutral” character alignment?). And yet, it's kind of endearing at the same time.
Puddle!Matrix is also kinda cute.
And yeah, gimme those fics involving Dingo, Matrix, AND Hunter while you’re at it, please :3
So, Issue 1 is the Dingo/Matrix recruitment tale, while Issue 2 is YAMA!!!! Hi Yama! I always liked him; his design is so cool, and Karine Charlebois draws him so well <3

RUMOR: Disney Television Animation Developing New "Gargoyles" Animated Project Hinted By Brent Spiner During 'Dropping Names with Brent and Jonny' Podcast.
The Gargoyles might rise once again?
Since 2020, we've seen Disney Television Animation expanding it's programming with several reboots and revivals of their beloved IPs with "The Wonderful Word of Mickey Mouse", "The Proud Family: Louder And Prouder", "Phineas And Ferb", "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+", "Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol", "Sofia The First: Royal Magic" and "Darkwing Duck Project (Purple Haze)".
However it seems that Goliath and The Manhattan Clan might rise once again as Brent Spiner recently hinted at his podcast 'Dropping Names with Brent and Jonny' that a new "Gargoyles" animated series is in development at Disney Television Animation. If you're not familiar with Spiner, he voiced the silly trickster Puck in the original series.

As you saw, the question if this new series is related to the live-action reboot series by Atomic Monster, Blumhouse Studios and Disney Television Studios was brought up with Brent clarifying it's a new animated series. As you might know, the "Gargoyles" live-action reboot started development in October 2023 at Disney+ with it's last update being at WonderCon 2025 with showrunner Gary Dauberman promising to keep it as dark and mature as the original series.
However it's been know that Gary Dauberman is currently writting the third Five Night's At Freddy's movie at Blumhouse with filming slated to start this Fall. So we can assume that project got scrapped and Disney Kids & Family opted to make a new animated series instead as they are the ones which decide what to do with the Gargoyles IP.
"Gargoyles" coming back would not be a surprise as we've seen the characters in multiple projects in the 2020s ("Dynamite Comics", "Disney Lorcana", "merchandise", "books", cameos on "Chibiverse" etc..). ICYMI: Disney Kids & Family plans with Disney Television Animation has been re-introducing The Disney Afternoon shows and cast to a new generation of kids. Projects under this strategy include "Darkwing Duck Project (Purple Haze)" by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Point Grey Pictures and a potential "TaleSpin" reboot also by Rogen and Goldberg however the latter got stalled in 2025 with Rogen and Goldberg hoping to bring back the project in the future.
Additionaly it seems that Disney's testing the waters with a proper "Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers" reboot based on them uploading several episodes of the series on the Disney Kids Youtube and it's multiple cameos on "Chibiverse" and "Chibi Tiny Tales".
