it’s been a few hours since he arrived. both of you are now just in your room he’s deeply focused and has probably memorized the entire course by now while you’re still trying to understand the basic concepts of physics. you’ve definitely been locked in and not staring at ur ceiling for the past 10 minutes after taking a vape break before the nicotine suddenly hits you and you need to go to the toilet
“be right back gumi”
“take your time”
it’s been like a good 10 minutes in the toilet and when you’re finally done you toss your hand towel into the basket and look into your cabinet for another. just as you’re ruffling through a drawer which consists of skincare, toiletries, half burnt vapes and some junk. you kept taking things out and either rearranging them or tossing it straight into the bin until you find a pack of fun flavored lip balms: a cola, two fantas, a sprite, and a jolly rancher. a pack you bought as a joke a few months back but there’s a reason for you to actually use it now. and that reason’s on your bed, head buried into his laptop with his only care being the exam next week
you get out of the toilet and peek at him playfully hoping to lighten the mood
“megumiiii”
“where’s your mac charger”
is the only reply he shoots back to which you roll your eyes at
“nerd, take a break”
“don’t think the exam waits on you”
“gumi you’ll be fine i promise”
you say as you switch places with his mac that was previously on his lap. you slide a teasing finger under his chin tilting his face up to face yours.
“let’s play a game”
he raises an eyebrow at that familiar teasing tone
“not falling for your shit again y/n”
that makes you giggle abit
“no it’s harmless i promise”
“…okay”
the uncertainty in his voice made it even cuter. you bring your face to his until you bridge the tiny gap with your lips. it’s soft and gentle before you purposely start nibbling at his lips hoping he’ll mimic the gesture on you. it worked. just as he pulls you closer, you pull away.
“guess.”
“wha-“
“guess what flavor i have on”
“seriously?”
“mhm”
he tried to steal your focus with the attempt of asking for another kiss but you saw right through him. oh megumi when will you learn.
“just one more cmon”
“nu uh”
“fine. sprite.”
you shook your head and in a teasing tone “mm-mm”
“try again megs”
he wasted no time immediately sealing your lips together and really savoring the taste and waxy coating on your soft plush lips.
it’s been a good 5 minutes he’s flipped you over so you’re no longer straddling him while you sit on his lap. now he’s got you straight under him on your bed while he’s got his fingers tangled in your hair. there definitely isn’t any flavour left on your lips of which he hasn’t licked away. both of you have completely lost the objective until you snapped out of it. you placed your hands on both sides of his face and lightly created distance.
“you sly little thing”
“ah jeez was kinda hoping you’d forget”
“mhm. guess.”
“it’s sprite”
“nope”
“it’s. sprite.”
“it really isn’t”
he cups your face with one hand forcing you to look at him because your gaze drifted from your giggles as he insisted he was right
“don’t lie”
you look up into his green eyes, his gaze never leaving your lips. his words sharp but there’s no real bite to it. you placed your palms back on his face and pull him back down to restrain your growing smile with his lips while rub the nape of his neck before releasing yourselves. you give him a sweet and knowing smile
“it’s sprite and jolly rancher”
“you little dirty little chea-“
before he can finish you were quick to flip both of you over and kiss him before he gets upset. whoops sorry megs!!
