you have no idea how happy and just generally good all the things you've said make me, and how much you've helped me in being confident enough to post my works to others, and just like, emotionally, generally.

it seriously means SOOOO much to me to see people with similar interests to me be so nice and kind and caring!! warms my cold little heart!!

I dunno how much you all know about me but I’m a SAHM and wife that homeschools. This is all by choice of course. I enjoy my life, and I know I’m privileged to be taken care of the way I am, so I’m not complaining here at all. But with caring for my family, the home, pets, etc. especially with my husband working out of state, I don’t always get a lot time for myself.

I found pretty much EVERYTHING I LIKE from that app. I wouldn't have started watching anime if it weren't for TikTok compilations. I wouldn't have found any of the artists I listen to for the most part if I hadn't heard about them on TikTok.

TikTok introduced me to so many new forms of self expression as well.

I started cosplaying because I became obsessed with TikTok compilations. I started journaling/scrapbooking because I saw TikToks of other people doing it and thought it looked fun. I started editing because I watched so many edits on TikTok.

I would not be the person I am today if it weren't for TikTok.

And, even though it wasn't good for my mental health, I'm going to miss it and the community I found on it.

But nothing lasts forever, I suppose.

Can't believe I've written five chapters for this already - it may not seem like much, but I don't think I've ever been so into writing something for a long period of time, and the support is brilliant!
