i think since garnet is more parental they wouldn’t have steven’s shorts since she is used to being the mature one. i believe since she is a permafusion/relationship, that they wouldn’t fuse by accident like smoky quartz did. i think rainbow quartz 2.0 might have his shorts like smoky solely because i think pearl would decide to fuse again as a spur of the moment, and she’s been known to stop being neat/uptight if it’s for steven (see her drinking in last one out of beach city). ive seen star visors before but i think it would really work on garnet and steven fusion because they both have a special place for fusion. maybe garnet would want the stars/yellow to make up for not having steven’s shorts. i wish it was easier to make chubby characters in gemsona maker
