They can trace its roots to the ancient Britons who inhabited southern and central Great Britain before the Roman conquest, and there are 6 to 11 millions of them today. They have have their own customs, language, music, dance, sports, cuisine and mythology. The Galicians are a celtic Romance people inhabitants of Galicia, in the north of the Iberic peninsula, officially in Spain. They speak spanish (due to the opression by the Spanish) and Galician. The Roman legions first entered the area between 136-137 BC. Under Roman rule, most Galician hillforts began to be, they are today 3.2 millions of them today. They have have their own customs, language, music, dance, sports, cuisine and mythology. Page 09. --- Girl Victim of Attack Would Now Marry Chief Offender. --- Peter Demetroff was sentenced to two years in Kingston Penitentiary, and John Popowicz to one year in the Ontario reformatory, by Judge Coatsworth in the General Sessions. These two men, who are Austrians, were found guilty last week of wounding Olga Stasewa, her mother, Eudoka Stasewa, and Harry Jessel. They forced their way into the home of the women on Adelaide street some time ago and battered them into unconsciousness with heavy irons. A peculiar feature of the case lies in the fact that Olga Stasewa, who previous to the assault was engaged to Peter Demetroff, stated that she was ready to forgive her former lover, and would gladly marry him.
