Okay, I do kind of want to know how they all got to the top of the tower here. The way this is framed, this is Goliath's first order to Puck, and I'd be wary of asking Puck to do Literally Anything Else. As it is, Goliath is being VERY specific in what he's demanding. And offering the one thing Puck desperately wants as a direct reward.
So they took the elevator. I would love to see a snapshot of this crew—five human men in loin clothes, a mangy dog, a mirror, a free gargoyle, a gargoyle in chains, and a garbage can with jester's legs coming out the bottom but not touching the floor—shoved into one elevator while muzak plays and they wait to travel up the 80 stories to get to the roof before this moment. God what a picture!
And Puck doesn't even look upset about his long nap. He was chilling restfully as he floated, contained in the garbage can all this time. He's fiiiine. Lmao. Pesky thing
