Still not feeling ready to come back to my Rickford comic

OMG HAI first off while we're here I wanna say this tumblr blog hasn't been working lately?? So I'm surprised and happy your ask went through! 😂 (P.S. For anyone wanting to DM me, please find me on Insta!)

As for your question, I rly haven't drawn Rick in so long omg, I miss it 😂 Ngl--I'm a sucker for RickFord over Stanchez at the moment, but you bet I love both 🤭

This part is almost certainly going to be longer than the previous one and is planned to be mostly Rick&Bill centric.

We are also going to see some other familiar faces (including Ford) making an appearance. I'm so excited!

I also would love to make some experiments on visual storytelling stuff and probably break some frames a little. Hope that won't make reading too difficult.

Traditional WIP piece!

I keep asking myself, what makes the audience feel attracted to an art piece even if they don't like the pairing and/or relationship dynamic doesn't satisfy them? The style, the skill of the artist, the choice of colors, an interesting story. Eh, I can't say I do exactly have my own style; neither do I use colors, only shading. It's already been a full month of me drawing every day, and my skill has visibly improved, but clearly I understand that it might take months or years to rise to a desired level — or it might as well never happen at all, who knows.

That two memes about two different cakes surely keep me going. However... when you're almost the only one baking, and you're not really good at it, it feels a bit different, haha.

I hope you're having a great time scrolling through what I have to offer you as much as I'm having a great time implementing ideas swarming in my head into reality. ❤️

One page is already finished, and I do, in fact, have the drafts for five (!) more. Moreover, this is going to be part 1 of 3, and I've pretty much got the whole story covered. I don't have a name for it, though. It will probably come to me towards the end.

Let's hope we'll ever see the final product, duh...

I must warn you that this comic is not about canon versions of Rick and Ford, but instead features their alternative versions — Rick D-512 and Ford 42'/. Their lore is still in development, but you'll still be able to see some of that in characters' appearances and story further down the road.
