I grew up wanting life to be like a fairy tale. I never stopped believing in the idea of true love and destined happiness. Every Disney movie was another idea as opposed to another form of entertainment. I watched every romantic comedy and read every romance novel to try and figure out what I would have. I thought of every way I would be prepared. I thought of every way I would fall in love. It would be sweet, but troubled. The cliché tearing apart before you realized how ardently you loved the other person. Even with all of that preparation, I was never prepared for you. I was prepared for happiness, but not bliss. I was prepared for heat, but not warmth. I was prepared for falling, but not growth. Which is what we’ve done - we’ve grown, together, through the good and the bad. I, ____, choose you, ____, as my best friend, my husband and my love for life.
