That @thegutlessfoodie's Version Of A Contest Winner's Recipe I recently judged a contest run by @rbl_bank & said that I would recreate the winning recipe but in my way. Basically the contestants had to come up with a recipe using all 5 ingredients that we're chosen that are readily available at home, especially during lockdown. The Contest was called #frugalfeasts. The 5 ingredients were any dal, any flour, potatoes, onions & tomatoes. @k.manushree was the winner. She made very interesting cutlets As promised I made my version of cutlets today I pressure cooked mungdal & potatoes in very little salted water along with asafoetida and turmeric powder Once done I mashed it, added roasted cumin powder, chaat masala powder, a channa dal podi meant for idlis, onions, fresh coriander, salt, rice flour & mixed into a soft dough I portioned it out & shallow fried till golden & crisp on the outside & soft from inside Served it with that Foofoo Tomato Chutney I always have at home Simple recipe but so yum to eat as a tea time snack. Do try!! (at One North) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_49yTEA2wa/?igshid=9zhm45oxsier
