AND I saw Mockingjay 2 which was as emotionally compromising as to be expected. The only disappointing part was the ending which was even more bizarre than in the book (and Katniss’s lack of recovery time but I'll write in depth about that later). Also, I got so excited and squirmy for the KISS that my phone slid right off my lap and fell in between the seats onto the gross sticky theater floor, so there’s that. The kiss was satisfying in a way that it did not feel monumental or an intense build up - it felt natural and comfortable because obviously Haymitch and Effie have been in love since at least the 74th hunger games.
