Me: actually here’s a lot of links about the debunked “satanic panic” thing and how it was a part of/influenced this whole “things are satanic and out to get the kiddos” cultural idea, and also DnD is a game system that covers many types of games, if you play with nazis it is bad but playing monopoly with nazis is also bad, etc.

Multiple children of my parents: *get diagnosed with ptsd, depression, etc.* *are suicidal* *are starting to lose the faith + gaining some outside perspective on their childhood and are realizing ‘oh shit that was very heckin abusive’* *are talking amongst themselves about things they were told in childhood not to talk about*
